Very nice restaurant. We came here for dinner. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with green beans. I had the brisket with a side order of collard greens. Both meals were delicious! My first time having collard greens and was impressed with how they were made. Great place to dine in or take out. Thank you!!

You order at the desk and they bring you the food. BBQ was very good. Our table had Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Brisket, and Brats. All were very tasty. BBQ sauce was good but nothing special. We ordered our food without buns as we cannot eat white bread and it came with them anyway. Not hard to remove the meat, but it was a waste of the buns. Baked beans were good but nothing special. Green beans were not very good at all. Didn't seem like they were fresh. Corn bread was very tasty and moist. I wanted butter and honey for the cornbread and was given melted butter, not sure if there was honey in it or not. A little strange but not bad. Servers reminded customers to remove their trays and dispose of their own garbage. I didn't mind, but seemed a little off to ask when they were standing there. All and all it was a nice place to eat.

AMAZING!!! I WAS SKEPTICAL but we ordered and were blown away! The meat was so juicy and tender on the chicken sandwich honestly didn't want to eat the bun it deminished the taste of the chicken, husband got the ½ rack ribs and the meet just fell off the bone was full of flavor!

I would recommend stopping in and giving this place a try. Had the pulled pork sandwich green and mac. All 3 were on point. Was skeptical at first being so far from the South. They had it going on. They did not cover the meat in sauce which to me is very important. Gives one a chance to actually taste the meat and decide what sauce or how much you would like to use. Most definitely will return.

I’ve been getting food here for years. It’s always delicious and a surprisingly good value. You get a meal here for the same you end up spending on fast food but BP is significantly better.
The only downside here is they’re tucked away and you forget they’re there!

Came from out of town to stay at Three Bears Resort. Food options are extremely limited so we had to drive to the next town over and I’m so glad we did. BP Smokehouse is top notch. The food was amazing and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already. We can’t wait to come back!

The best part about our experience was the ice was cold. I have no idea how they recieved such high reviews! All the sauces have liquid smoke. Hostess said the have a smoker they add wood to... I had the green beans and bacon they were canned and over cooked as if left in a crock pot for days. Husband had pulled chicken sandwich. Flavorless cut meat on store bought bun. Lloyd's in the plastic tub is better. Sorry guys up your game

BP’s catered a wedding for us this weekend and let me tell you, it was fantastic!! The pulled pork and brisket were so juicy and flavorful!! The coleslaw was really tasty! BP is a great hidden BBQ joint! Very reasonably priced! Great servings and amazing service. I was helped in seconds! Food came out in a timely manner, and was hot and juicy! They do have outside seating under and awning also picnic tables for those who wanna enjoy there BBQ under the sun or stars! The owner who was cleaning and maintaining the lobby and bathroom cane right up too myself and started a conversation. I was personally to involved in the tasty food. But 100% would come back again!

Stopped in for lunch with a friend and had an awesome meal! We both got the pulled pork, then each got different sides so that we could try a little bit of everything. The meat was very tender and the sauce was flavorful. I was expecting a pile of meat (which I would have preferred), but it came as a sandwich. The cornbread is a large moist muffin. Since cole slaw can either be really good, so-so, or really vinegary, I asked about it. It turns out I was speaking with Darren the owner. He explained his process for making most of the things on the menu - very informative and pleasant.
The sides portions were quite large for sides; the meat portion could have been a touch larger. The peach cobbler was tasty. I would have preferred more peaches and less dough.
Will definitely go back if I am ever in the area!

As a side note, I saw Darren and another employee help a long time customer to his car, since he has trouble walking - very sweet and caring!

We are from out of town so we stopped here for lunch today. The food tasted great, but they are smaller servings than a typical bbq place - but the prices reflect that which we appreciate. The atmosphere was very cozy, however our waiter wasn’t very friendly. When she rung us up, she said nothing - not even a “hello” or “welcome in” which was odd for a sit down food restaurant. Then when she brought us our food, she didn’t say a word and just set our trays down and left. It was very off putting. But other than that, I would recommend this place.

Great place to eat! Delicious smoked meats, collard greens, fries, and more. Wonderful sauce (although the amount of sauce is definitely skimpy). I'm celiac so haven't tried any sandwiches, but getting the meat by the pound or just requesting no bread works well. Minimal interior but it works. I've never visited when the place was very busy so service is pretty quick, though you may need to ring for someone to come out. Service is friendly if not effusive. Definitely recommended for a great Southern meal!

Pulled pork and ribs were really great. I had asked if they could cut the ribs prior to then coming out due to having kids with, and was told this comes standard so no need to request. Very pleased with this as ribs at other restaurants just come as a giant rack you need to fuss with.

I give this place 5 stars. Mostly based on the atmosphere and how welcoming the staff was when we visited.

Good ribs, good beans, they may be a bit to saucy for me however, and I did not like the corn muffin, but that may be a preference.

Ribs had a good smoky flavor to them. The BBQ sauce was on the side which was good. It allows you to eat the ribs in their dry rub form, or sauce them up as you see fit.

The staff who was helping us, came by to see how we liked the food and if everything was going well.

He told us about the 3 large smokers they had and how many pounds of meat they are able to smoke per day.

This is a good and cozy spot if you want BBQ in the Tomah Wisconsin area.

Ok so, they advertise rib tips that they never HAVE, very unfortunate. The ribs are so good and tender with the right amount of seasoning. The greens were okay, but the sugar content was not necessary. NOW THE SMOKE MAC AND CHEESE WAS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL 😞 GARBAGE TRASH. They didn't even give me the bread or corn muffin that comes with it. I messed up and ate my good meat first and then had the greens, then the nastiest taste of dry Mac and cheese. I did call to allow them the opportunity to fix the Mac and cheese for the next customer, because I will only order meat from now on.

Well.... Not as good as I was expecting when I seen it rated 4.5 stars. Order at counter for dine in, the guy who took my order was very busy running orders out and packing orders so it took him a few minutes to get to me. No problem there he was moving very fast just busy. I ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer, but since it's counter service I had to order my whole meal at that time. When I seen my chips and salsa come out as a pre-packaged single serve red gold salsa package I laughed inside. If I had table service I would of walked out at that point but I had already ordered and paid for my meal. Mac and cheese was very bland in flavor, craft is probably better. I could almost swear the smoked baked beans I was eating were straight from the bushes baked beans can. Not bad just nothing special. Brisket sandwich was kinda dry. I asked for more bbq sauce because it was dry and they said they charge for extra sauce but would go ahead and get me extra this time. What kind of bbq restaurant charges for bbq sauce? That was a first but he did get me some anyways. I am from Kansas city so I have had many different bbq restaurants and I would have to rank this one towards the bottom of what I have tried.

Had a great time on our way through Tomah. Wanted to go somewhere that was not just a bar or fast food. BP smokehouse did not disappoint!!! All of our food was great!! Ray helped make our family's experience awesome!!!

Food and service was excellent! We ordered the smoked brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, fries, green beans, and peach cobbler. Both sandwiches came with a good amount of meat! Definitely worth stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat.

Food tasted old... Ribs were very dry and could not even finish the brisket! The brisket especially tasted old and reheated. Also did not get my corn bread

It is absolute ANARCHY that this place has a 4.5 star avg. I felt generous tapping the 3rd star TBH.. sure, the service is super fast.. and they have a couple TVs that allow you to watch some sports in hopes of distracting you from how bland the BBQ + sides taste… I acknowledge WI isn’t known for much outside of their cheese and beer.. but this place wouldn’t stay open more than 30 days in any other state.. They were out of their desserts as well which was alarming.. maybe the lack of restaurants on this exit is forcing everyone to stop here?!? Mayhem.

Went here today. They want a tip for taking your order, then I had to ask for sauce as it comes in about 2 oz, no sauce on the tables which is odd. Food is good here not great. Check Dub's Pub in Sparta WI instead.

Great vibes! It was not super busy on a Saturday around lunch time, and we were surprised by how quickly we got out food! We both got brisket, and I got a gluten free bun as I have celiac, and I didn’t get sick! Definitely would go again if I’m ever in Tomah again!

Great food and service for this area. Totally unexpected. Parking is ample and prices are above average. Portions are a little smaller. I will return.

Staff: The staff is great. Take orders right away and they always bring the food out to you.

Building: The building is spacious and very well taken care of. The bathrooms are clean.

Food: everything on the menu is awesome. Trying it all.

Parking: plenty of parking.

Star rating: 5 because of the price and the food.

I have no problem coming back here every chance I get.

Tried several dishes which all were surprisingly well executed!👏🏼
Brisket: perfectly cooked with fat rendered down nicely!
Ribs and pulled pork: juicy and super tasty!
Potato salad: creamy and delicious!
Coleslaw: fresh taste that goes perfect to the fatty brisket.
I will definitely be coming back for more!!

Was craving BBQ and decided to try this place out got me some ribs Mac and cheese and potato salad ribs were dry and hard my Mac and cheese was as well only took some bites of my meal didn’t even finish it that’s how bad my ribs were. My meal was $27 not worth it.
