Went there on a Friday night. They had outdoor music. The pizza was good. They have an automated system that confirms your order and gives you an estimated time of completion. I retrieved my order shortly after the estimated time and it was done. I received the notification that my order was ready as I was driving home, which was after we finished eating.

We visited Branch + Daughter for the first time this past week and are beyond excited to have discovered this gem so close to home.
The atmosphere is so welcoming and lovely in this quaint shop. We were welcomed promptly and ended up speaking with (we think) the owner for quite a while and it was very pleasant to learn about the store's inception and all of their curated offerings.

We bought deli meat, and a few prepared meal dishes: a broccoli side, lasagna, a baked potato, and a pecan bar. All of the prepared meal items were absolutely delicious, and the deli meat has been a fresh lunch option for this week. We can't wait to return to try some cuts of steak, pizza, and their other offerings.

Unique sandwiches using pizza dough. 10/10 delicious! Generous portions and comes with kettle chips and pickles. Ordered the recommended Turkey BLT wedgie and the smoked ham wedgie. Both were fantastic. I prefer the smoked ham more bc I love caramelized onions, arugula, and pesto. It took a bit of time for food to arrive but the wait was worth it. Limited seating too.

We got a gift card here for our wedding. We stopped by in the winter and didn’t find much, they were honest and said that winter was their slow months and told us to come back in the summer. They have live bands on Fridays. After golf today, my husband and I stopped by (we don’t live very close) and ended up getting lunch! We got the meat pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. I was kinda thinking JT might just be a fancy frozen pizza but it wasn’t. It was homemade and big! The crust was so good! Fresh dough for sure. Good quality toppings as well. We also say their dessert counter and got the Oreo swirl bar (have yet to try) and their lemon cake (amazing! And I don’t even like cake)
We will definitely stop by again next time we’re out that way. My husband also got a local beer but just felt that, that was alright.

We tried the gluten-free pizza on cauliflower crust at Branch + Daughter. It was good—definitely enjoyable—but not the best I’ve had. The sauce was a bit sweeter than I personally prefer. That said, it was still a solid pizza overall. The real standout was the outdoor vibe—such a great space to relax—and Lake Collective playing live made the whole experience even better. Would definitely come back to enjoy the atmosphere again!

We weren’t sure what to expect because a coworker said they had the best pizza in WI but online it looked like a butcher shop/deli/market. The answer is it is all of those! Absolutely delicious pizza with that thinner crust that has those bubbles at the edge. Yum! They have unique specialty pizzas with high quality ingredients. We had the salted pig (fig, pesto, bacon, white sauce, arugula, onions) and the B&D (sausage, pepperoni, anchovies, wild mushrooms, black olives). Both were incredible! We ate the pizza on their cute outdoor patio complete with umbrellas.

We also got some take home goodies from the butcher counter/market. GOAT cheese, fig jam, dry aged salami, a ribeye, herb butter and homemade peanut butter pie. We had a taste of the PB pie - OMG! So so good. Creamy and flavorful and rich!

We chatted with the owner some - cool guy with a great culinary career that has taken him around the country but ultimately it sounds like his sweet daughter made him put down roots in Windsor, WI!

We will be back to try their Gluten Free crust and other butcher counter specials.

We arrived at 6:20 PM right after the Kentucky Derby. We got there as soon as possible because they close at 7:00 PM. They specialize in aged meats. I was excited to get an aged cut of meat to use with my Chimichurri sauce. Anyway, I inquired about the different cuts and the counter person told me what he would suggest. I responded that I would take a couple of pounds of the steak. He then very quickly told me that I needed to order 24 hours in advance. I didn’t find anywhere on your website that would tell me that. Also if the meat is on display and aged why wouldn’t you sell it? Even though he was less than polite I still wanted to buy something so that he didn’t feel like I wasted his time. I told him that I would like to buy a New York strip instead. With a clearly bothered heavy sigh he grabs a steak wraps it up and hands it to me without saying a word. In my experience you get to choose the steak that you want to buy not the other way around. Overall, this experience could have and should have gone much better. I salt cured the steak for 24 hours and grilled it. The steak was delicious. However, it wasn’t what I wanted and it wasn’t what I went to your shop for. Hopefully the service will improve and you have a successful business.

I don't think I've had a better sandwich... I mean, ever. Just ham and cheese, but it had pistachio pesto on it, and the bread... Well, it's essentially pizza dough as an open-ended calzone, almost pita-like, and fresh-baked. The menu is limited, and features just a few well-curated sandwiches and pizzas, but my partner and I were quite impressed, not least with the intoxicating aroma of the kitchen. The store also sells a small selection of luxury groceries, local gifts, and some cold beers and wine to go with takeout orders, and has a lovely butcher counter. While indoor seating is limited to a cozy counter in a bay window at the front of the shop with a few stools, they have a very nice outdoor picnic area which I intend to check out this summer.

We drove 30 minutes to check this place out. You order food from a window, and then they buzz you when it is ready. They have outdoor seating, including a large park/grassy area with a couple of picnic tables with umbrellas. They have a couple of cornhole sets to use, and lots of sandbox toys for the kids.
The park is dog friendly (even if some of the other guest are not). There was plenty of parking, including their small lot and on street parking.
They have a really nice high end looking deli and meat counter, but we didn't get any of that. I will stop here again, if I am in the neighborhood, or on the way through.

I stopped in on a whim after learning about Thursday fish fry. I spoke with the main chef while waiting, and he apologized, my fish was the first of the day, and the oil was a little hot, so he was remaking it.

As a way to make it up he gave me a few slices of a error pizza, which was steak and chimichuri. It was amazing.

The fish was fantastic, and the tartar was some of the best I've had. I didn't know what to expect from a place that offers mainly pizza but it was a great meal. I appreciated the chef, and our conversation.

Nice location, nice branding, cute shop. I ordered one of their pizzas to go as I did other shopping. Then I checked out their meat case. The steaks were about 2” thick, so I asked if they could cut it in 2 thinner pieces. They did ultimately do it, but it seemed like I was making a picky request. I waited about 10 minutes for them to slice the steak. The person who cut it was very friendly and passionate about his craft. He is likely the biggest asset.

Then I took my steak back to the checkout only to find they never put my pizza in. :( I expected a little better customer service, especially from a place where the meat is +$30/lb. I could have easily spent triple what I did if they were more attentive to my interests.

I would say—check them out but check your big city service expectations at the door. Don’t go if you are in a rush.

I just enjoyed one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something. The quality was outstanding. One of the thickest ribeyes I’ve ever seen. Grilled it on the Egg with just kosher salt and black pepper. Topped it with herb butter I picked up there as well. Finished with a flourless cake. Legendary. While the pizza is pretty good itself, I would argue that mini-store filled with novelty food and drink items as well as the butcher shop is the real prize of this establishment. To speak on the pizza firstly, the ingredients are simply at a higher quality than many other pizza shops that provide pies at the same price point. The service at the ordering counter was very open and friendly with a small town feel.

If you order your pizza on site, rather than ahead of time, you’ll find plenty to gaze upon as you browse the store - from meats to wines and arts and crafts in between.

I had the best pizza in my life from Branch and Daughter. The service is amazing and the staff goes above and beyond to prepare amazing food and provide extraordinary service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that visits Madison Wisconsin.

First time around this place was up there with the best pizza I may have had in this area. We ordered the pizza with figs.

Second time I ordered the same pizza it was either prepared by a different person, I believe. Perhaps just an off day?

However, getting a consistent dish cooked the same way everything is a challenge these days, at least thats what I've experienced.

I will no doubt try a third time and encourage you to try any of their unique pizzas...worth a shot.

Branch and Daughter’s food is on a whole new level!! The wedgies are addictive. Make sure to get a dippy egg on any of them. There isn’t a bad one to pick. Just bring an appetite. Not even sure how to describe the pizza besides you have to get it. The crust has the perfect amount of char on it (no flop for all you one bite followers). Cheese is cooked perfectly and everyone of them is seasoned just right. Our kids love the pepperoni so we have to order the hot honey on the side but that puts it all together (get extra it’s good on everything). I travel a lot for work and have had a lot of pizza in my life and it’s in the top 3 for me across the country for me.

What a cool shop! Great wine and spirits collection, locally sourced meats and cheeses. Oh, and the smell when you walk in- pure heaven!! Stop by for a quick pre-made meal to take home. I ordered the extra large charcuterie board for an event. Not only was it absolutely beautiful and tasty, but Monique was a gem to work with. I will be back again and again.

I am totally blown away by Branch + Daughter. The people and the food are super amazing. We were so impressed that we cancelled a meat order from our mainstay in Sheboygan Wisconsin, and will now ONLY get our meat from Branch + Daughter...yes its just that good. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. BTW the "dry aged beef" is totally the best, and the pre-made meals beat everything that we have tried to date.

I decided to give this place another try and was blown away by the quality of service and almost immeasurable level of flavor.

I went with broccoli and cheddar soup, green and gold pizza, and a ham "wedgie" (imagine a calzone that is also a sandwich) to try a bit of everything.

The smell alone was enough to warrant an additional star. The "wedgie" far surpassed my expectation on every level. The flavor is incredible and is purposefully put together.

The pizza is definitely a fork and knife job and well worth the extra effort to get it into your mouth. Toppings are generous, and clearly not coming from a bag or can.

The soup is well seasoned and the flavor profile is what you come to expect from a good broccoli and cheddar.

The problems that plagued opening day have been completly resolved, will definitely be coming back!

Highly suggest this hot spot in Windsor WI!!!! The pizza is SO delicious! Great pre made meals for nights you don’t feel like cooking a homemade meal… you get convenience and homemade in one!!! Butcher shop has a great selection. Of course they have a great selection on adult beverages also. Bonus for the shoppers out there there’s a boutique shop also, selling locally owned goods😀 can’t wait for the summer for their milk shakes. The outdoor seating is nice and relaxing also. I love their food, but I feel like they are closed a lot. The last handful of times I have went to order food, they have been closed. Being a small business owner, I completely understand emergencies, but if you want to make it in a small town, providing specific services, reliability is a must! What a great place! It's a small store that offers pizza all day and "Windsor wedgies" only for lunch. There is no indoor seating, but they have 2 lovely patios with heaters. I can't wait until the wedgies are offered at dinner time as well. They were huge and tasty, adding the tippy egg was a smart choice!
