Branches is so adorable & inviting! We were on vacation in the area - this is a must visit. Everyone is so sweet, the owner is amazing! They allowed me to bring my pup and she absolutely loved it. Great food, exceptional wine.

We visit Westby every summer to see family and this is one of our favorite and first stop. The staff is knowledgeable of the wines offered and so very kind and helpful. Great selection of wines ranging from sweet to dry. The view from the patio is absolutely beautiful. What a hidden gem!

I hesitate to write such a glowing review because I don't want to draw others to this hidden gem in Westby. My fiance and I visited over a quiet Sunday and it was so incredibly... pleasant. I don't think I can think of a better word to describe it. The view over looking the vineyards, the smell of wood fired pizza, the quiet conversation out on the shaded deck. Absolutely phenomenal.

Bonus points for turning non-wine drinkers like us into not only finding MULTIPLE kinds we enjoy, but leading to us walking out with 6 bottles in hand. Phenomenal pricing and service as well. Now don't share this because we want the place to ourselves :P

A nice little winery in a beautiful country setting. They have lots of outdoor seating options and the wine is really good. We were a little too early for wood fired pizzas, so I'm definitely going back for that. Over the summer they also have live music. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.

Tasty wine assortment! Friendly servers and knowledgable to what you may like and then taste. Make sure to check them out when the pizza oven is fired up and enjoy a slice on the back patio. Usually always have some sort of music lineup on the weekends too. Great stop on a beautiful drive around the area.

We enjoyed the winery. Definitely more sweet wines than not, but they do have a diversity of wines and easily denote them. Great selection of foods - oven roasted pizza and cheese boards. Great for families. Very tranquil. Lots of outdoor seating. Exceeded our expectations. Being wine people from the east coast the only feedback was the lack of explanation about the wines provided by the baristas, but if engaged they could speak to the wines. Overall, a great experience.

This winery is a short drive from La Crosse, but well worth it in my opinion. I tend to enjoy sweet and semi-sweet wines, so I really enjoy their Francesca and Booberry wines. Such a charming place to enjoy a glass of wine on a beautiful summer day!

Good wines in a nice space with a huge bottle tree and outdoor shelter with a bottle wall. The woman working there on Sunday a few weeks ago was friendly and very helpful. I bought more wines here than any of the other 4 wineries I visited in the greater area.

Staying in Viroqua for the weekend so we had to check this place out. Cute, newer, modern winery. I love how they also offer brick fire pizza. You don’t get a lot of wines with your tasting, but the amount is decent. I just wish they would have talked about the winery, it’s story or the wines. Not the end of the world, but I like a good back story. We had a tasting, bought a bottle, ordered a pizza and sat outside and enjoyed the storm rolling in. It was a perfect end do our day before we went back to our AIRNBN. I would definitely come back. Such beautiful scenery out here.

Amazing wine, amazing pizza, amazing staff!!! What a wonderful experience we had at Branches winery today. Branches has become our favorite location to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and many holidays. Since the first time we stopped in for a tasting the owners and staff have been nothing short of incredible. It did not take long for them to feel like family. I had friends from out of town come for a visit. Being proud of my hometown, I suggested we visit a couple wineries around Westby including Branches. However, I was totally embarrassed last Saturday by how my friends and I were treated during our visit to Branches. It was busy when we arrived, so we were prepared to be patient as we waited our turn. While waiting we witnessed several people be served that arrived AFTER us. When we were able to get a servers attention, we were asked to move down the bar to a smaller place on the bar for a tasting for our group of six people, but then another couple arrived and were immediately given the spot we were asked to vacant. The couple were immediately given sheets for the tasting. Before serving the couple, I mentioned to the server that we were ready. She proceeded to wait on the couple instead. This was ALL we could take and walked out!!! We would have purchased a case or more among us. I have worked customer service for years and this establishment needs to train their employees to be more aware to the needs of all customers. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

We visited a few wineries in a trip to LaCrosse and this was my favorite. At most Wisconsin wineries, I find there are some hits and some misses, but I enjoyed all of the wines I sampled at Branches. The grounds are beautiful and they have great customer service. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

not sure if it because I was a "single" or because I didn't look like a "case" buyer......went in to do a tasting last month on a Saturday afternoon. There were about a dozen people "tasting" and three people behind the bar...i stood for 5 minutes and finally had to raise my hand to get service...finally got a young girl to help me...took another 5 minutes to get a sample while 2 couples to my right and 1 couple to my left were being given multiple samples...finally went and got a winery glass flagged down the man employee and gave him money and said i wanted to buy this glass. He walked over to the third person and she came back with my glass and change and said " you didn't get to do another tasting" I told her that obviously I wasn't as important as the couples on each side of me...avoid the rudeness and go to Vernon Vineyards instead.

As much as my girlfriend and enjoyed the Explorer we thought the Branches Reserve was better. It had a better aroma and was very smooth. It was very earthy and refreshing. It goes very well with beef. Either of the wines you will not be disappointed with. Good to Wis. wines doing a great job.
