I was in the Dells for a little vacation with my husband for my birthday/our anniversary. Our last stop the night before we left to come home was The Brat House. It was absolutely one of my favorite places of the whole trip. Julian was our bartender and immediately I knew he was gonna be a great one! Takes one to know one lol. The food was so delicious I had the German Sampler and that BEAST Brat was phenomenal! That's what originally peaked my interest on the menu. Watching the brewers play on that enormous projector was so awesome. All the patrons were friendly and also seemed to be highly enjoying themselves as were we. So thanks for a night to remember Brat House. We will defintely be back!

This was the last place that me and my wife tried for a 10 year anniversary. Honestly, I just showed up for the cheese curds but I had it everywhere. I had been to eat at that whole weekend. This place had the best damn cheese curds I have ever had. The boneless wings were absolutely awesome and then the fries were really good. The ranch was not droopy like everybody else the ranch was absolutely the best. The only thing I’m upset about is I live five hours away, but I guess next time I want the best cheese curds I’ve ever had. I’ll drive the five hours.

This place is in a very old Church looking building with stained glass window windows. This is a bar type restaurant but great for all ages. I had the best burger with mushrooms, onions , kraut and mustard.

The cheese curds were good(I subbed them for the chips-for $7.99). The Wisconsin cheese brat would have been wonderful if it didn’t have a burned taste, I mean BURNED BLACK!! The place smelled of burned meat or burned toast!! The bun was way too big but was ok. I didn’t eat half of it. Great brat, not impressed with the chips. Supposed to be made fresh from n house. Were cold and not impressive, took over 45 minutes from sitting down to get food. Its brats and hotdogs, there were less than 15 people in the entire restaurant. Again, would have been worth the wait if chips were hot and fresh. Had to chase a waitress down for drink refills. (DON’T LET THE MENU FOOL YOU — IT’S A TRAP)
I’ve been to the Dells plenty of times, and every single time I looked at the Brat House menu, I thought, “Wow, this place looks legit — I’ve gotta try it.” Well, I finally did… and I regret every bite.

Let’s start with the poutine — the only semi-edible thing we ordered. Even then, the gravy was ice cold and gelatinous, like it had been sitting in the back of a fridge all day. It took 20 minutes to arrive, and somehow still came out colder than a Wisconsin winter. How?

Then came the mains. Two people in our group ordered the mac & cheese, which had a bizarre sour taste and was cold — again. One of them ended up vomiting the entire next day. Not even exaggerating.

I got the mushroom Swiss brat. It was the least offensive item, but if I’m dropping $14.99 for a brat and some sad chips, I expect more than lukewarm canned mushrooms thrown on top like an afterthought. “Mushroom Swiss” implies flavor and quality — not slop on a bun.

The whole place feels like it relies on tourists being too hungry or too distracted to care. Don’t fall for it. The menu looks amazing, but trust me — it’s nothing but smoke and mirrors. You’re better off grabbing a gas station hot dog.

During our family vacation to Wisconsin Dells, we stopped at The Brat House — and it was really great! There was live music featuring a gentleman playing guitar, which added to the vibe to the evening. The wait was minimal, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious.

We tried a variety of dishes including bone-in wings, chili, a pulled pork sandwich, adult mac and cheese with bratwurst, and a giant pretzel, kids’ mac and cheese, and chicken nuggets for the little ones. Every single item was full of flavor and cooked perfectly.

I highly recommend checking this place out — it’s a great spot for families and anyone looking for a tasty meal in the Dells!

I got a brat that was their take on a Philly Cheese Steak - but make it Wisconsin! Also on the table were the Potato Pancakes, and we took home two orders of the Brat Mac n' Cheese to other family members.

I'm telling you - it was all good! The cheese sauce on the Philly - most bars would just dump some canned cheese on top and call it a day, but no! Not in WI, and certainly not at Brat House - that cheese sauce is DIVINE!

Our server was super friendly. It was a busy time of day when we came in, and he was super attentive anyway.

It ALSO ended up being Karaoke night! How fun! Great DJ for that - very entertaining.

Went there today around 12:30 for lunch. 1 guy bartending and serving and wow, very impressed. I'm not sure if I've ever had that good of service anywhere and we were in the back room from the bar. Did not write down our order and the order was spot on and it was 4 meals and 2 appetizers. Never had to wait for refills on drinks either. Extremely impressed. First visit here service was spot on...beer on tap nice and cold . Had the Jägerschnitzel yum delicious they had a different take on Spätzle than I'm used to...the pecan pie bread pudding a big disappointment ordered mine to go the whip cream became just cream in a 2oz souffle cup and was microwaved a bit much as it was slightly crunchy but overall it was just bread pudding with extra pecans . But worth a return visit and maybe try something else.

Came here for a late night meal and nightcap. Not really an authentic German vibe, nor are there many German beers. There was one. Mostly locals who work at the resorts, which was pretty cool. It’s a young crowd late at night.

We got the jager schnitzel and spaetzle. Portions were great and the food was well prepared. Both of the bartenders / servers were amazing.

We went here for my birthday. We have driven past many times but never stopped until now. The menu is brats, burgers and more. They do have a Friday night fish fry and other specials. I got a bacon cheddar burger that was really good. It was good enough I would go back for another sometime. My wife had the Friday fish fry and said it was average. Granted we live in an area that everyone has a Friday fish fry and unless you do something special like hand batter it, it is hard to get her top approval.

The service on the other hand was top notch. We had 4 different workers either check in on us or bring stuff to our table. We got the drinks and food was delivered fast. One of the workers noticed our son had a karate belt that he had taken off when he went to the bathroom and chatted with him about that. I always appreciate when staff take a minute to interact with not only the adults but our son as well.

They have a fairly large tap beer selection. I really like how the bar is laid out and how comfortable the whole seating area is. You can even sit outside if you want.

Overall I plan to go back again at some point. I enjoyed the food and the service.

This place was an experience. Is it a German themed restaurant? A Latina club? A family restaurant/pub style place? Honestly yeah, I don't even know what to say honestly. I didnt k ow what to expect the entire time we were here. The food was not good, I asked for the spatzle to be taken off my bill. It had zero flavor. I had the parm chips and the schnitzel sandwhich. There just was no flavor at all. My kid got Mac and cheese and it was average, probably the best out of what we got. My husband got the beast and it was incredibly dry and was a strange flavor in our opinion. Our waitress was kind and the service was a little slow but overall no complaints about the service. Brat House is always a MUST any time we are in the Dells. The brats are amazing, of course, but you really can’t go wrong with just about anything there. I definitely recommend trying the pretzel appetizer. We had friends from Georgia with us once and I suggested getting the pretzel, and my friend wasn’t too keen on it saying soft pretzels are kind of boring. I told her since we’re in Wisconsin, she should give it a try. She loved it, and told me a week later she couldn’t stop thinking about the pretzel! The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant feels homey with an eclectic variety of tables, chairs, and seating locations. You won’t regret going to the Brat House!

The food here is wonderful. There are lots of great speacials as well. The Beast and Wisconsin Cheddar Brats are very delicious, as are the homemade chips, beer cheese soup, and Jaeger Schnitzel Sandwhich are also great. Lots of locals hang here as well as the international workers who are there for the summer. Bartenders are great, and it's a nice place to get some good, cold beers on a hot day. I was there last night, everything was fine until I got the bill and saw that I was charged for 2 extra drinks that I never received. I tried to talk to the waiter but they were very aggressive with me and made inappropriate comments, when I asked for a manager they didn't give me any answer, they really made me and my friends have a very uncomfortable time. We spent $64 on side salad (iceberg, not mixed greens as advertised), cauliflower bites, beast brat, poutine, and boneless wings. The brat was by far the best item. Everything else failed to impress. Stopped by for takeout on a very long drive, sat outside to eat it fresh. Can’t speak much to the atmosphere except you may find a cleaner bathroom somewhere else, ladies.

If you're looking for food that comes out hot, fresh, and exactly how you ordered it in a timely manner - this is the place for you. Brat burger combo is fire. There's an oil painting of Guy Fieri with flavor town right when you walk in that says flavor town. I have no idea if Guy has ever been there, and I think flavor town is a dumb saying but this place IS flavor town.(not in a dumb way)

Possibly the best burger in the world. With all the food choices in town,we still ate here back to back. I had the double bacon burger with a brat patty, cooked medium rare, pepper jack, and american cheese. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

Really good small restaurant/bar, friendly staff and very good food. Taco Tuesday was really delicious recommend the chicken tacos. The chicken sandwich was very good also and the chicken bacon mac and cheese plate. Recommend when you want to have late dinner.

Waited over 20 minutes to be served then 0ne at our table was given something he didn't order, when everyone was done eating we finally got the food the one person actually ordered, too top it off they tried charging us for the food that was served wrong, that they took back

Ayer fuimos a la "noche latina" y de recibimiento un trabajador del lugar nos rapó la bebida que teníamos en la mano y la arrojó a la caneca de la basura, esto cuando acabamos de llegar y nos encontrábamos aún en espacio público (En la acera). Se entiende que a este tipo de lugares no se deben llevar bebidas del exterior pero, nosotros aún no habíamos ingresado. La música estuvo muy mala, nada de música nueva y demasiada iluminación para el tipo de ambiente. si tienen la oportunidad de ir, DESAPROVECHENLA.

Yesterday we went to the "Latin night" and when we were welcomed, an employee of the place swiped the drink we had in our hands and threw it into the trash can. This was when we had just arrived and were still
in a public space (on the sidewalk). It is understood that you should not bring drinks from outside to these types of places, but we had not yet entered. The music was very bad, no new music and too much lighting for the type of atmosphere. If you have the opportunity to go, WASTE IT.

The support staff are friendly and really took care of me. I was underwhelmed with the Beast Brat and parmesan chips. There were a number of locals getting lunch and enjoying their day. Maybe it's me.

Amazing food, excellent service and nice friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be our go to lunch / dinner location when we do our annual Dells vacation. The poutine was excellent and I wish I lived closer to have it more often.

I got the brat sampler delivered, and I was very happy with my food! The beast brat was VERY good and their spatzel was delicious!
Would love if they added some mustards to go with the brats but I will definitely be back every time I visit the Dells!

The food was amazing, I can't think of too many places where I have enjoyed the food more. The atmosphere was very nice and quaint. I would visit here time and time again if I lived in town. That said the mandatory gratuity is very steep when added to the bill.
