Braywood Resort is such a fun lake spot and one of my go-to places. You really can’t beat the location right on the water. It’s so easy to pull up by boat or just come for a meal with a view. The menu can be a little on the pricey side, but that’s kind of expected for lakefront dining and it’s always good.

Dock parking can get hectic because it’s super popular, but once you’re in, it’s worth it. The place is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the whole vibe is just laid back and welcoming.

Food has always been solid when I’ve gone and I have to say their ranch is amazing. It’s also a really good spot for families since it’s kid friendly and they even have a sand volleyball court if you want something extra to do. Overall, it’s just one of those places that makes a lake day even better.

Excellent Fun and a must go to in Eagle River. The food was very good- salads, burgers and the best cheese curds we have ever had. Excellent staff!! We stopped in during the muskie tournament Friday 8/16/24 for lunch. Katie and the other blonde bartender (sorry never got her name) were absolutely stellar hosts. Unbelievable how pleasant, attentive and efficient the two were as they made drinks, took orders and served food in a very busy atmosphere. Our food was very good. I Highly recommend patronizing this local establishment for drinks food & fun. Accessible by land or water with plenty of dock space. I tip my hat to these young ladies. Thank you!!!

We boated in which was great there was a lot of boats there today. Unfortunately there was only one way out on the lawn and patio an extra waitress to did come and serve the rest of our food which was all right. I got the Brat which good but the fries were over the top great. The burgers others had looked really good. Our waitress did a great job taking care of extras one diner wanted. It would be nice to have more umbrellas on these sunny days.

Love Braywood! Perfect lil spot off the lake! Inside bar is a classic off the lake bar with whatever you need. You can eat inside or outside. Outside seating is dog friendly! Bartenders and servers are all polite and helpful. Nice, big water station outside for hot days!

Went to see our Fave band Decade XS perform on Sunday. Such a nice clean spacious place on the water. They serve food and drinks, eat to get to, boat docks, outside seating with umbrellas and without. A fire pit and a boat launch. Good prices on beer and great selection! Came here with my family. The burger was charred like a hockey puck. But even worse, the outdoor seating was an absolute dumpster fire. There is no host or hostess, so you have to scramble and race others to find a seat, and people would cut in front of each other. There was no organization, or order of any matter. It was a puzzling experience visiting this place to say the least. Plenty of other spots along the chain of lakes that are better.

We went to spent new year eve at this restaurant. We booked the igloo for 6 people. They have amazing, friendly staff and food is so fresh and delicious. The igloo is really nice, it was very warm and cozy. They have blankets and games as well. I have the best igloo dine in experience here. Thank you for giving us amazing service and made our day.

Fantastic resort to visit in the summertime. Newly renovated and extremely clean and in very nice shape. Staff is super friendly, ordering and paying is quick and painless, and service is fantastic while sitting outside.

Food is great and prices are very fair. Plenty of beers available and a full bar inside (though you can order and they’ll bring your drinks out as well). Went the week before Labor Day and it wasn’t too crowded. Will definitely be back next year.

Went to Braywood for their Mac and cheese that was listed on their menu online. What I got was their kids microwaved Mac and cheese I didn't even feed my dogs. I asked the server about the Mac I ordered and she said they don't serve that....even though on their menu online. Clearly need to update their menu. Wasn't the waitress's fault and she was nice. They had some old guys in a band playing music who werebmoderately practiced but a lot handful of parts that were not cohesive. Great location so sucks to write this but was a sad experience indeed.

We visited on a Sunday. I would recommend that Braywood post a picture of their limited Sunday 'Funday' menu on their Google page or their website. The food was decent tavern food. While passing the kitchen on the way out we noticed their potato salads and coleslaws weren't on ice or being refrigerated. Our waitress was kind, but our family got the sense that they didn't care to have our business on this day. A different female waitress/bartender kept giving our table really rude looks each time she went in and out of the kitchen. Overall, this seems like a like good place for a quick bite while boating. I wouldn't recommend Braywood for a sit-down family meal.

Sunday 2/12/23- We reserved an outdoor igloo, 2 adults, 2 kids. I have to say it was really fun. They had games, blankets and plenty of room. Phil took care of us and he was amazing! Very patient, attentive and timley. The food was delicious and good portions for the price. It was my first time there and I would definitely go back- especially for the igloos.

Arrived by boat at 1:15 hoping to have missed the lunch rush. Place was busy but not so much that we couldn't get a table. Took more than 15 minutes before we got our lunch order in. Another table next to us got waited on before us even though they were seated after us. 45 minutes later and our order still hadn't come and the same table had eaten and left. While we waited for our food we were told that the kitchen was backed up an hour to an hour and a half. If they would have told us this when we came in that would have helped. More communication is always better. Our order was messed up when it finally came but none in the party wanted to say anything for fear of never getting out of there. Food was ok but definitely not worth that kind of wait. It appeared that the bartender was also the server inside. Not good. Lastly, the only shining part was they had a lot of young girls running around filling water, bussing tables, and asking if everything was alright. Unfortunately they couldn't do anything to speed up the order. If only they could have put one or two of them in the kitchen... I'd suggest asking how long will it take to get your food. I'm sure it's fine when they're not busy.

Went there yesterday, first time since new owners took over. Great place to boat to for lunch as usually there is enough boat parking. We seated ourself outside on the upper deck as soon as we arrived about 1:30. Waitress was at our table right away and took our drink and food order. Everything was perfect till the food arrived. Hamburgers were so over cooked they looked and tasted like hockey pucks, not a drop of juice or moisture left in them. French fries were ice cold. Wife complained about that and they brought her more but they were cold too and tasted like they came out of a warmer several hours ago. Other person had mini taco's but tasted like they were frozen ones that were just warmed up. So overall good service, good drinks, nice atmosphere, and poor poor food.

We have a place on same lake and REALLY wanted to like our experience. We used to go there all the time. This was our third try under new owners. First two tries weren't great. This time, service was very slow despite not being very busy. Waited 15 minutes for menus. Then another 10 to place order.. When we ordered food didn't take long which was good. Burger and turkey burger was OK but the fries tasted like the oil in fryer hadn't been cleaned recently. We spent almost $60 for two burgers and three drinks. And we we disappointed again. They have a beautiful place, staff now wears nice shirts, professional looking sign, advertisements, live music.....but seems like not enough focus on fundamentals...just serving good food and focuding on good service, in my opinion.

Very disappointed with the food and drinks our last visit under the new management. When we expressed our concerns they told us to go to McDonalds and to never come back and they don’t need us and Eagle River doesn’t need us. Even more disappointed with their unprofessional and immature response instead of an apology or we can do better. They don’t care if you wait an hour and a half for food. They state they are so good it takes that long. Wacky responses instead of trying to do better and work with the customer. We’ve gone to this restaurant for many years and loved it but the new management is very rude. An apology and some humbleness would have gone a long ways. They have lost a lot of business and we do not recommend this establishment at present.

Adding to my review on 6/26/20: the owner reached out after four days and apologized for his behavior and rude comments. We were also sent a refund for our bad experience. Hopefully they can pull it together and make this a great establishment.

Under new owners and no longer like it. A lot of the menu items were not available. The hamburgers came with no lettuce or tomatoes and they had little flavor. The steak sandwich came with nothing but steak and a bun. The grilled cheese was okay but had only one piece of undercooked bacon. Everything was very expensive for what you got. They even charged for soda refills. The wait between ordering and getting our food was very long even though it wasn't that busy. They even took away half of their outdoor seating. We will not be returning.
