Love the atmosphere, Kaitlin greeted me right away as soon as I walked in the door which is a huge plus.

She was super engaged and you can tell that she loved working there. She knew the history of the place and knew the menu very well.

On the recommendation by a customer of mine at mpu, I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries and used the roasted garlic aioli sauce to dip the fries in. It was fantastic!

The only thing I would say is the pulled pork was a little overdone with the barbecue sauce so I ended up using a fork to eat the sandwich.

Other than that it was a great experience! I highly recommend it!

We had dinner at Brick’s on a Tuesday night with our crew and it did not disappoint. The food was fantastic—Reubens were absolutely delicious (crispy, melty, everything you want), and the kids' pizzas were massive. Total bang for your buck, especially when feeding a family.

I also love that they offer a mocktail menu! I don’t drink, so it’s always refreshing (literally and figuratively) to have fun, flavorful options that still feel like a treat—no alcohol needed.

Our waitress, Addie, was an absolute angel—super sweet, attentive, and just all-around wonderful. She made us feel right at home.

And bonus—we had no idea it was trivia night, but it was so cool to see a local spot offering something fun and interactive like that. My husband and I are already planning a date night to come back and actually play!

Brick’s nailed it on food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely a favorite.

Four of us went there for lunch, sat at the bar, Bartender right there! ...ordered bloodies (eye-appealing & tasty) with a chaser ( great selection of craft beers) & started with their shareable Firecracker Shrimp (so good!), split their Rueben and Fries with my husband (sizeable & one of the best Ruebens we've had). I have traveled to the Manitowoc area a few times for work, and have always made it a point to stop at Brick's, especially for the bacon wrapped cheese curds! They are phenomenal! But I'm writing this review for another reason. The last night I was in the area before flying home, I stopped by for dinner. Stupid me, I accidentally left my credit card on the bar. I didn't realize until I was at the airport the next day. I reached out to Brick's, and they went out of their way to make sure my credit card got back to me! Well done Brick's!

I was in town visiting a client and was bringing lunch in for 7 people. I called the week before and the people at Bricks said to order online. I needed the food by 11:15 and they open at 11:00 on Mondays. Tight timing! The online ordering wouldn't allow me to place the pickup time any earlier than noon (makes sense if they open at 11). So I placed it at noon and then called them at 10:45. The manager answered and she adjusted the timing of our order so it would be ready. They had all 7 lunch orders ready at 11:10. I recently visited Brick's Downtown Bat & Grill at 939 S 8th St, in Manitowoc, WI. While visiting Manitowoc, I walked from my hotel to Bricks. We have been to Brix many times and have had great experiences. We were there recently and left a bit disappointed. I asked for a half serving of my favorite Brussel sprout nachos, our waitress checked and said that I could do that but would still charge us the full cost. We started with their crispy Haystack Onion Rings and we also enjoyed their brand new BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, featuring local Newton Meats with their House BBQ sauce and Brussels Sprouts Slaw. Their Barnyard Burger with Cheddar Cheese, Cherrywood Bacon, Fried Egg, Haystack Onion Rings and BBQ Aioli was fantastic, too. We went for a little celebratory dinner and we were very please with our experience. This place is a gem ! I grew up in Manitowoc and it’s always lacked variety of non chain, unique places that stood out. While in town, I met my lifelong best friend here based on her recommendation. I can genuinely say I was shocked when I came in. The place looks very crisp, clean and inviting. It just doesnt look like what I was expecting to find in Manitowoc and I’m thrilled that it’s here. I don’t get back this way too often but I can say i look forward to getting back here. I myself had the bacon wrapped cheese curds (absolutely brilliant) and Mac and Cheese with crispy chicken (also great) Good service as well and reasonable prices.

We were en route from the Twin Cities to New York Finger Lakes and drove by this beautiful renovated historic 1894 building in Downtown Manitowoc, MI. We were looking for a fun lunch experience while on the road and were thrilled to find BRIX PLACE.

It stands kitty-corner from the Manitowoc County Courthouse, which is stunning. We enjoyed a brief walk to take in the buildings and area.

We were immediately seated at the bar and had an exceptionally pleasant server. She told us about their famous serves gourmet burgers, wraps, and flatbreads – but said everyone especially loves their Brussels sprouts. Also, I tried the shrimp wrap, and it was my favorite. Nice fresh veggies and sauce with it.

We were glad we tried this place! The burgers were first-rate and went fine with the grilled Brussels sprouts. The menu has loads of sides to select from. It is a very clean, polished restaurant/pub with fun decor. We appreciate the attention paid to keeping the history in place and could tell the staff were proud to work there.
You can order 3 old fashions – very good. They have craft beers and cocktails available, but we were heading back on the road.

We took time to tour both the upstairs and the downstairs levels – great options that can be rented for special events. We had no problem finding street-side parking and could keep an eye on our car while dining – good windows for a nicely lit restaurant. They also provide a Keto diet. There are no steps to enter, so it is very accessible.

This building has so much potential to be something great. The few times I have been in here the staff is always very slow to get to you, even when they are not that busy. The food is pretty nasty and overpriced. Their cheese curds are one of the grossest I have ever had. I love bacon and I love cheese curds but their cheese curds have zero flavor. I had the Cesar wrap and sweet potato fries. Both were amazing! Best wrap I’ve had and the fries had cinnamon on them. Delicious!

We rented the upstairs loft area for an event (50 people) & were very pleased with the service & the food! Their communication leading up to the event assured me that they would have everything in place to run smooth the night of the event & it did!

Tried this place for the first time and was not greeted at all after entering. Brussels sprout nachos were good but didn’t have much cheese for nachos. My hubbys burger looked good but when I received mine it was so burnt, looked nothing like the pictures that were posted of the burger of the day.

I've had a lot of burgers in my time but I have to say, without question, the fire and rescue burger is the best I've ever had. I've had bacon and jalapeños before but those along with the sweet chili sauce is perfection. Well done! Actually it was medium done but you understand what I'm saying

Had CBR wrap with seasoned fries. I have to say they were the best I've had in so long. The season they use is out of this world. It has just a little kick to it. The wrap was very good too.

Glad we tried this place! Burgers were first rate, nice beer selection, and a diverse selection of sides (both the fries and the grilled Brussels sprouts were terrific). Very clean, polished, well thought-out restaurant/pub. We appreciated the attention to detail!

Terrible. We waited o er an hour for food and finally told them to cancel it. The bartender went and check on it, said they were working on it. Asked again, they didn't even have our ticket. Never again.

Our company came with 16 people. Large groups can be very difficult to keep up with; not in this case! Our servers were amazing, super polite, responsive, and incredibly respectful! Drinks were always full and any one off requests were addressed, again such an amazing wait staff. To add to the already fantastic experience, the food came out quickly and had everyone smiling after their first bite!

Overall, we love Brix. The food is good, the drinks are fun (please bring back the shark week gummies inside the drink!) It can be busy at times, waiting for a table, but the bar has openings if you need to wait. The host was upfront about wait times when we arrived, and I appreciate that as a customer. We enjoyed a great meal, did not feel rushed out the door at all, and had a wonderful booth with big windows facing the downtown area.

The bacon wrapped cheese curds might be my favorite.

We went as a get-together in a larger group with coworkers. Very good food, price, and friendly service. You get the impression that staffing is maybe an issue, but it really didn't affect much. I would love to go again!
