My wife was in the mood for some poutine and suggested we try BrowTine. So we gave it a go, ordering a couple of drinks, some poutine and 2 of the many cheeseburgers that are offered on the menu. We had the pleasure of getting married at BrowTine on 06/01/24, and really cannot say enough great things about them!!

Mella was amazing to work with, planning and helping us figure out details, flexible with changes! All of the staff went above and beyond- so friendly, helpful, and made our day special! The bartender was even instrumental in helping bribe our 2-year-old niece to walk down the aisle for the ceremony.

The site and venue are beautiful! We choose to get married on site to help cut down on driving. The arch was in place (we did rent chairs from an outside vendor in the area). With our ceremony around 4:30pm, the site was perfect for us and made for great pictures! Again, appreciate BrowTine so much!

If you are still with me, last but not least is the food!!! All of our guests raved about it. Served buffet style, our entrees were so delicious (with many guests asking if the roast beef was actually prime rib because it was that good), the potatoes tasty, and salad fresh. BrowTine also did our groom's dinner the night before the wedding and that was great too!

If you are looking to throw a great party or wedding on a budget, do not sleep on BrowTine!!! It truly is a gem and such a great option!!!

We decided to stop by this place as we have had drinks here before but we have never have their food. This place is a bar and they have bar food. Since we are starting our social media adventure we are ordering a bit more food. We ordered sheers curds, pretzel bites, wings, and a meat lovers pizza. All of the food was good bar food. The flavors were nice but it is not a gourmet restaurant and I’m not sure I can give it a high star rating. To me 4 stars is just that, basic service, decent food, clean and well maintained service. I don’t think I can give it a 3 because it was a notch better than average. I will be reviewing cheese curds and wings on our website separately. But quick assessment here… overall wings 4, cheese curds 3. Cheese curds were not typical cheese curds… they were not light and airy… rather dense. Generally this place earns its 4 stars from us.

My husband and I dined in tonight. It took two hours to get our food!! It was not busy. Our waitress apologized for the long wait. The food was poor. The cheese curds were over done. My mother and myself called to order a family chicken meal and we were told that we can not order any chicken because they only do burgers on Saturdays. So I called to speak to a manager and the excuse on why that was, was completely unacceptable. A business should not tell me that I can't order chicken on certain days if it's on the menu people should be able to order it. So I would not recommend ordering from this place. After reading other reviews i'm very happy that I did not order chicken here anyhow. Enough said.

This place is one of our stops while we're out riding. Food is well above average, prices are more than fair, and the owner is a super good dude.

I highly recommend the Friday night Fish Fry, and the Bruschetta Chicken Sandwich. Two menu items that I would absolutely not be ordering under normal circumstances at other restaurants, but these two things are my absolute favorite here.

If I could post zero stars I would.
Tonight we went for dinner. I ordered broasted chicken. The chicken arrived and appeared crispy and appetizing. After I had eaten some of the chicken breast I cut in to find that the inside was raw and red blood was running from it. My husband had ordered the same. We both stopped eating immediately and flagged down our sever.

She removed our plates, asked me if she could get me another piece of chicken (I declined) and then returned with our check. We were all set to order something different but noted our cue to leave. My meal was refunded $7. My husband commented that he was not going to risk eating his either after having seen mine. The server explained that she had spoken with management and they could only refund my meal despite the fact that my husband could not possibly risk eating the same.

I am not quite sure why management were unconcerned that they had served raw chicken to a customer who had eaten some of the meat. We asked to speak with management. My concern was that a major health hazard was being underplayed with an: "oh dear, here is $7...goodbye". We were then given an additional refund for the check and told again that we could not speak with management. We left. Raw chicken can be lethal. Do not risk it!!

I was there for a vendor and craft show. The lighting is not the greatest, will have to bring extra lighting if I ever do another one there. It was also chilly in the event area, many people put there coats on, or had extra clothes on. Another good thing to know. The food was good, little pricey but good.

I had 5 stars on my first review of Browtine but I am changing it to 3 stars mainly because the staff there is very friendly and give excellent service. They do great for events. The place looks fantastic inside and their newly renovated outside area is beautifully done.
The 2 stars were lost because their menu has changed significantly from when they first opened, not much of a selection to choose from for food anymore. Their menu prices are high compared to other places with the same type of food items. Most of the time when I want to go there with friends for a drink, they are closed. I sure miss having those yummy Bloody Marys.

I had the "crispy" haddock sandwich. Tasted good but was not crispy in the least. But my husband's sandwich was the worst. He had the Roast Beef sandwich. Supposed to be "piled high with tender roast beef and gravy". Well, he had a slab of roast beef about an inch thick and cut in a 4inch square. He had to take it off the bread and use his knife and fork to cut and pull it apart so he could eat it. There was very little gravy either. NOT a good first time experience. Not sure we will return.

There were 12 of us and we showed up without notice. The staff was accommodating, the locals treated us extremely well, and before you knew it, we were seated and had drinks in our hands! The truth is, there were 6 couples and we all have cabins on Wapogasset. We were looking for something new so we made the 17 miles trip to BrowTine and I'm telling you now, we will be going back! Mason and his team took great care of us. They have a relaxed atmosphere and the owner is a young man we "want" to support. He came out to visit with us and we enjoyed our time at his place. I'm going to encourage Mason to add a rare prime rib, or a rare ribeye to the menu for us, but we love the place and the 12 of us will certainly be back to support this young man and his entrepreneurial spirt! Thank you Mason for your efforts and your great young energy!

Terrible experience with this establishment. Do not book an event here. To say the management is poor is an understatement. We booked a wedding here prior to Covid and Barb couldn’t be bothered to call us back. It took weeks between phone calls and still nothing. I don’t care how busy you are, not returning phone calls is a great way to send the message your customer doesn’t matter. On top of that, she refused to refund any of the $500 event deposit after Covid related health concerns led us to cancel. Furthermore she couldn’t be bothered to work with us to even transfer the event over to a family member. We are a young couple just starting out and $500 is a big deal to us as it is hard earned. Barb did nothing to earn this money yet thought it right to keep anyway. It’s lack of empathy, compassion, and kindness like this that breeds more of the same in this world. I will not be supporting this business in the future.

In the last 6 months I have had Brow Tine cater food on 3 occasions-for a bachelorette party, Labor Day weekend, and a holiday party for a 24 unit 55 and up community. Went for an early diner, first time there since they changed it from the Cricket. New menu ,new prices. Much more expensive. I got their version of an appitisor sampler called the plot,it was 13 dollars. Disgusting and tiny. Food was over cooked and un flavorful. Didnt eat it , waitress came and took it away, waitresses didnt apologize or ever refill my drink. The rest of my group did eat there food though. Said it was okay but not 14 dollars good for a burger and fries. Wont be going back, it's such a shame because the Cricket had been so good.
