A somewhat uneven experience that was quite enjoyable overall…

We came in near the end of the night and we were pretty much the last diners although the bar was reasonably full the whole time.

The appetizers were delicious. The Brussel sprouts had a unique presentation. We found the twice baked potato to be delicious, it was a little confusing as a shareable appetizer option.

Our sandwiches and burgers were all pretty good. The Reuben was tasty, but felt like it was 70% sauerkraut and 30% corned beef. The truffle fries and house chips were very well executed.

Service was pretty good, but they seemed like they were running out of steam at the end of the night. A few little things were ironed out without too much difficulty.

I came here for the first time on my birthday in July, my chicken was so delicious it was amazing. So fast forward to today I was in the area and I thought I would order that delicious chicken again . I arrived home open the box and was so disappointed. The chicken was so dry and burnt that I couldn’t even really eat anything except a little out of the middle. I I don’t think I will go back Unfortunately.

If I could give Bryant's more stars I would. I could get very wordy about the details in how much we thought of this restaurant. To put it simply. The 7 onion baked French onion soup was a meal. Onions loaded in to a true beef stock. It truly was the best since we spent time in Paris. My husband's tuna was perfectly seared. Along side this tender tuna was seaweed salad, Wasabi and thin slices of ginger. With soy sauce for dipping. I ordered the Burata meatball. It was about the size of a softball. The burata inside was perfect. It sat on very fine angel hair pasta with light red sauce. Like all that wasn't good enough? We ordered banana cream pie(it was our 56th wedding anniversary). This was amazing! It wasn't just banana cream pie on pie crust. IT WAS A BOWL MADE OF VERY FINELY CRUSHED GRAHAM CRACKERS.INSIDE THAT BOWL WAS THE BANANA CREAM! AMAZING!

There were six in our group. 7pm on a Thurs night. Place was somewhat busy, but not packed. Waiter was kind, nice, and effective with taking our orders and serving (and refilling) our drinks and all 6 of us had ordered our meals at the same time.
HOWEVER: Three of our group of six rcvd their meals together and timely. But not until about 10 min later, an addtl person rcvd her hamburger she had ordered, then about 10 min LATER an addl person rcvd his Tuna he had ordered, and not until about 20/30 min LATER (AFTER the rest of us WERE ALL FINISHED WITH OUR MEALS) the 6th person FINALLY rcvd his meal (a BURGER) he had ordered. The waiter was great and attentive but wondered why he couldn't have done more to press the chef on getting our meals out more timely!!! Receiving our 6 meals in the varying time manner that we did, is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! THEN when we expressed the disatisfaction for the gentleman that did not rcv his meal until all the other 5 diners were done eating, they offered to give a DISCOUNT (turned out ONLY 15% on his meal and only on his meal...). At the VERY LEAST they should have NEVER CHARGED HIM ANYTHING FOR HIS MEAL!!!
The "service" (not the waiter... but rather the serving of the meals) was ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

My partner and I went for fishy fry at Bryant's as part of our quest to try out different fish fry's in the area. We got fried cod with potato pancakes. The tartar sauce was very flavorful and complemented the fish well. Additionally, the potato pancakes and cole slaw were also very good. The cole slaw had pineapple incorporated in it, which really elevated the flavor and (as someone who doesn't normally get fish fry for the slaw) was a very welcome change from the regular fish fry ensemble.

We will definitely be coming back. We did speak to the owner while he checked on our table, who said that the fish fry will be served all year round. We think that's a good thing as it is our new favorite fish fry!

Easter dinner has never been better. My parents are getting up there in age(80s) and when I saw that Bryant's was offering a full dinner, I thought it was to good to be true. I have never been disappointed with the food here, its always been a treat.

How was service?... the big guy himself came out of the kitchen wished me a happy easter and handed me my order! Most places you figure the owner would take the day off and leave it up to the staff to fill the orders. This place truly offers tasty food and an experience.

The food was fresh and hot, my mother was able to relax and not fret over trying to make everything perfect(or burning something...). My dad fell asleep shortly after eating probably to much 😋.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. My boyfriend (Flyboard Nick) and I patronize a lot of local restaurants. We continue to come back to Bryant's because we have NEVER been disappointed. We decided to try Bryant's fish fry last Friday. It was by far the best fish fry either of us have had and we try a lot of restaurants. We were seated immediately and our drinks never went below half. The potato cakes were amazing. I hope those become a regular appetizer! Our 13 year old daughter was also with us. She got the chicken pot pie. We all loved it. If you haven't tried Bryant's yet, you are missing out!

High hopes were dashed on our date night at Bryant’s tonight.

Lackluster Brussels sprout salad: no salad dressing (a light maple Dijon vinaigrette would have been perfect). Candied walnuts on the salad were crystallized sugar bombs.

Burger: flavorless. Stale bun. Big disappointment. French fries sprinkled with Parmesan could have come from Culver’s.

Pecan Grouper: overly sweet crust and sauce and undercooked risotto. Terrible.

To top it off, every time I looked up to talk with my husband, the massive TV screen on the wall was playing FailArmy videos of people having car, trampoline, jumping accidents that completely wrecked what I thought was going to be a slightly elevated dining experience.

So much room for improvement.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a few years now. I made reservations for my family, including my grandchildren, and I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday with them. I made sure to mention it in our reservation so that they would be aware of the occasion. Our server was friendly, but unfortunately, our dinner was served in a very staggered manner. We each ordered our own meals. My dinner arrived much later than everyone else's, and by that time, they were already halfway through their meals. While my meal was delicious, the French onion soup was excellent the other dishes were average. Despite mentioning that it was my birthday celebration, it was never acknowledged by the staff. This was disappointing because we never had the chance for my grandchildren to sing happy birthday, in which they were disappointed.

We ordered crab rangoon, it was over power with sweet chili sauce, the jalapeños popper as well it is very salty stuffing with sweet chili sauce on top.
The walleye absolutely has no flavors not even salt and pepper.
Worst of all it would be up charges $2 per drink for ice if you order drink on the rock.

Gross, flavorless, false descriptions and less than average service. Espresso martini NOT espresso, the description says it is but we asked the Bartender and she said there isn’t any espresso in it, they just use coffee pods with less water… tastes like it and they charge $15 for a watered down coffee “martini“. Burger…flavorless, ZERO flavor even with the butter they put on, I think that’s more for show. Truffle fries… no truffle or Parmesan, just some green flakes and taste like deep fried fries. Rest of food was flavorless and mediocre. Had Empty drinks and no water for 30 minutes until we asked for our bill and left. I don’t get it Lake country, another bad, overhyped, overpriced restaurant.

Nice enough place all around but Not really my kind of food. I'm more of a meat and potatoes kind of eater and thats not the fare offered here. I think this would be a good place to go with a bunch of friends for drinks and snacking since the object of the experience is to share plates.
We there on a Friday night at 500; not too busy as about half the tables were occupied. We had the Brussel sprout patties. While they didn't look like the picture on the website, they tasted good and didn't taste like a Brussel sprout. I'd order them again. The crab Rangoon dip was ok; nothing really stood out about it. I could take it or leave it. The Tai chicken peanut skewers were underwhelming as I couldn't taste the chicken as it was overwhelmed by the peanut butter tasting sauce.
As for service, we saw more of the busboy than our server. Again, keeping with the idea of the place, food came out one dish at a time reinforcing the sharing aspect.
So, it a place I'd would go for a meal but maybe with friends for drinks and snacks.

This was our first visit. We prefer to support local businesses, so Bryan's was on our list. My husband & I shared 3 appetizers and it made for a nice dinner. A wonderful dinner anytime of the year. The overall experience was fantastic. When we arrived and checked in there was an apparent issue with the booking system with the staff handled perfectly. We waited at the bar and enjoyed a drink and a table was ready soon enough. In the colder months it can be a bit cozy in there during the dinner rush but the atmosphere is comfortable and quaint.

The menu has a lot of variety and while it's considered "small plates" you'll find that the portions are a bit more than small plate restaurants you're used to. We had leftover s that are going to be even better the second time around!

Highly recommend the french onion soup, crab rangoon and filet mignon. Perfectly cooked steak and impeccable presentation. Will be back soon for dessert!

I want to say nicer things, but needs some minor tweeks. My first time dinning at a place using the small plate/made to share idea and found it socially awkward, even though we came with friends we've known forever. The small plate idea makes you cycle through a lot of plates because you don't want all the sauces mixing from what you just ate. The waitstaff comes to your table a lot to deliver food as it's done & clears old plates, which caused too much activity at our table. The waitress was sweet & smiley though. The hamburger & fries were definitely gourmet quality, but feel like everything needed a pinch more salt.

My husband and I shared three plates, and it was plenty of food. The place is very small so I'm glad we had a reservation. We showed up on a Tuesday and they had half off all the bottles of wine. I'm not sure if that is every Tuesday or if it was the timing of when we went after Christmas. The shaved brussel sprout pancakes or unbelievably flavored with a soy and ginger sauce. I enjoyed the burrata stuffed meatball with tomato sauce on top. The potato layered scalloped potato dish was extremely flavorful and filling. Our daughter joined us and she had the salmon that had some type of a raspberry sauce. I was worried the raspberry sauce would be too sweet but it was very well balanced. The owner came out and greeted us to times and asked how our food was, which was very nice of him to do. Lastly, we shared a piece of the chocolate cake and as a chocolate lover it was to die for. I loved the layers of peanut butter mousse and dark chocolate ganache on top. I could eat that all day long. The servers and staff were very nice but the only unfortunate part was we got sad at the same time as two other tables so the servers did not realize that we were not taking care of for about 5 or 10 minutes. Otherwise no complaints.

I went to Bryant’s for my birthday. I was warned when I got there that they weren’t prepared for the holiday weekend and had items on their menu they no longer had. Okay, I can deal with that. The French onion soup was unimpressive, the beers cheese soup was a bit thick to call it soup, the crab Rangoon pot pie had one piece of crab in it (we searched it for more crab). The table next to us almost walked out without paying due to the crab Rangoon. My steak was underdone to top it off and in no way resembled a blackened steak. Why didn’t we complain? Because it was my birthday and we didn’t want to make a big deal out of the food when the service was fabulous. Will not be recommending or returning here.

Bryant catered our family reunion this weekend, and everything was absolutely on-point. Delivery was timely, and all the dishes and sides were set up for us. The house-made, herbed Italian dressing was the perfect finish to a bright, summer garden salad, and the Asian chicken is one of the best chicken dishes I have had in a long time. Small plate dinning seemed like a reason to charge more for less food. The flow of meal did not make sense. I understand the concept of sharing food but everything was so shuffled around and the waitstaff was confused. The food came out quickly but was not really warm. The items on the menu are meant for sharing but how does one share a small piece of salmon and a spoonful of risotto or a hamburger with the table? You get a nibble. I get a nibble.

Also drinks are in plastic cups and the restaurant is soooo noisy even outside.

The worst part is that the card system was down and we were told to sit and wait until it was fixed. No free drinks or a dessert for the table or 10% discount? Nothing. Sit and wait. We waited for over a half hour and nothing. Not even a refill on the waters we had.

Arrived hot and great flavor combos. Next was the salmon with lemon cream and prercorrino risotto. Lightly seasoned salmon cooked to perfection. The food was excellent - everything came out quickly, wonderfully flavorful, and hot. Only downside was the noise level. Friday night and the place was packed. We literally had to shout at each other to hear our conversation. Unfortunately, this caused a problem when our server mistook an order for a burrata salad as the burrata meatball dish. She seemed annoyed when we sent it back, but she probably didn’t hear the “salad” part due to the noise level. She could have clarified the order by asking us - when you have 2 burrata dishes, probably a good idea. Definitely will return, but will choose outdoor dining.
