Sat at a table waiting for a menu or someone to wait on me. I have been sitting here for over 10 minutes and I have no service at 3:30pm on a Friday. I am hungry and came in for a fish fry. The lone bartender is running up and down the bar serving drinks but continues to ignore my presence here at the booth. Kitchen opens at 2:30pm according to their website. So there should be zero reason to leave me waiting at a table without even a water on this very hot day. Ridiculous.

I co-hosted my daughter’s Bridal Shower recently at Bub’s. They were very accommodating. Scott was great to work with.. They have great options on their catering menu, and will allow you to complement with additional cold sides if you so choose. Everyone that attended thought our bartender Rebecca was very attentive, super friendly and quick, especially for how large of a group we had! Not one negative comment was made to me about the whole event. Thanks for a great experience. We would recommend this venue to ALL!

Idk what all these bad reviews are about, but this is the best bar in town! Food is great with a huge selection to choose from. The atmosphere is top tier with bands playing every weekend on top of other events they have there. They are extremely involved in the community of Germantown as well! Me and my supervisor order the hamburgers but they were cooked from frozen to a dry hockey puck,this place has no place to keep puck up orders warm by time I got back to work everything was cold lettuce was old tomato to soft….Just VERY DISGUSTING and DISSATISFIED….

First time here yesterday, charged 10 bucks at the door. Really ridiculous! You might want to get more waitress s .slow service Really! Fish was good, mashed potatoes not good and they were cold. Was disappointed no potatoe pancakes. Not sure if I will be back. The bathroom is small, the door locks didn't work good. Place could use a little bit of an update!

I cannot say enough good things about Bub's. This is the second time I have had a shower at Bub's. My daughter was so impressed at how her bridal shower turned out that she requested that I have her baby shower at Bub's too. Scott was so easy to work with. He listened to what I needed and quoted me prices that did not change. He responded to my emails in a timely manner. The manager Heather, set up the room to accommodate our needs. The mimosa bar was excellent. Heather made sure our soda and and juices stayed full. She was so professional and helpful. I am once again so satisfied with Bub's. Wonderful establishment. I live right across the street, and don't go out to eat often. I thought to give Bubs a try since they seem to be consistently busy, which made me believe they were always busy for a good reason. Unfortunately I was wrong. Both times my husband and I visited with friends it was a bad experience. The first time we gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were hosting a memorial and it was pretty chaotic and busy,. With that being said, the service was trash, and the bartenders were rude. Tonight we were asked at the door if we wanted a waitress, or would prefer to order our food and drinks at the bar. We said we'd prefer to order at the bar, but once we approached the bartender she quickly shut us down, and said we had to have a waitress assist us. Not a huge deal- but her attitude sucked and made us feel very unwelcome, like we were annoying her by being there. On top of that, the food was not good bottom line. Less then mediocre. We ordered a combination app basket, French dip sandwiches, and a fish fry. I would have been more satisfied with my food and service at the Mac Donald's drive thru down the street . We have been germantown locals for years now; and will never return. I'd give 0 stars if I could, but it makes me give at least one star. With bad service, bad food, and bad drinks, I see no reason to ever return.

I had personally never been to this establishment, however my wife and I were invited by a friend to join them to have dinner and then take in a live show. Our table had two folks never get their food, that was finally resolved but it was tedious at best. The folks were very apologetic and did work to make it right and I applaud that effort, the problem really started when we moved to lower level to take in the show, at this point I was $80.00 into the evening. My wife recently had her 10th spinal surgery 2-1/2 months ago, she asked if I could find her a chair with a back on it, I kindly asked front of the house folks and they accommodated my request, took the chair to the table that was reserved to have a guy in orange shirt approach me, told me that chart can’t be here, I explained that folks up front told me I could bring it back, he responded “they don’t have that ability to to do” I responded then go take it up with them, he seemed hell bent on pushing further, the man asked what’s it for, but explained the reason for the chair and he was still not happy and told me to stop yelling at him, never yelled but told him if you have a problem with this chair being her take it and get it out of here, kept at me to the point I had to walk out before the show, my wife had to leave as well, to whomever it was that pulled the testosterone out tonight thanks for ruining our evening just absolutely uncalled for it almost felt like he was trying to start something, at age 52 I know better than to subject myself to that kind of garbage and simply removed myself from a craptastic situation.
Very disappointed. Tell the dude to chill out and listen to what patrons are telling you and take the appropriate action but not take it out on someone who did nothing wrong which was me.

Bub’s definitely has a reputation in Germantown. Some people like it and some people don’t. I may be biased because I’m a regular here but I really enjoy Bub’s. I go here religiously on Friday for their fish fry. The baked cod is the best that I’ve found locally for the price. Kelsie and Jessica are both great bartenders. (They are usually there on Fridays when I go.) I really enjoy their service when I’m dining and drinking. Anytime that I’m off of work on Friday I’ll be eating the fish fry here.

The burger was pretty mediocre for $10. There was zero urgency to ask if we wanted anything to drink or eat and there were not busy at all at the time. The bartenders only seemed to be interested in the excessively loud and obnoxious regulars who im sure are always hammered. I understand this is a bar and people will be somewhat loud and somewhat drunk but it was overpowering any conversations around the room. The bartender took close to 10 minutes before even acknowledging us and walked past multiple times before speaking with us. Again, they were not busy at all when we arrived.

Really wanted to like this place, unfortunately, the people that worked here made it so we will not ever be returning. We had someone who antagonize our family while we played darts after Thanksgiving and when we asked the individual to walk away from our group multiple times, we had the bouncers come back and tell us the individual was kicked out and had to leave. We then noticed the individual back in the bar antagonizing our group and the bouncers surrounded our group and told us we were not being kicked out but made us feel very unwelcome and followed us until our entire group walked out. We spent a great deal of money in the bar and were likely to have stayed would it not have been for the security/bouncers acting just as juvenile and childish as the children that were antagonizing our group. We are a group of 30-60 year olds, all family, with someone else antagonizing our group for a better part of the evening. When asked to speak with the manager or owner, we were told no by one of the bouncers. There are other places to play around town and I hope well known musicians will think twice before deciding to play here when their patrons, who travel to see them, are not treated with respect.

Bubs is a great bar and entertainment venue located in a very "small town" location. I don't get to stop in often, but have always enjoyed it when I do. It has a really comfortable and rustic feel to it, has very good food, friendly servers and live entertainment with a decent sized stage. They also have multiple pool tables, darts, and those machines my wife likes to throw money in. Give it a try sometime, there's a lot to like.

I ADORE Bub's!! Brandon is a breeze to work with when it comes to coordinating events. I love DJing and dancing here. Matt takes such great care of me, knows my drink by heart, & even comes to find me before the kitchen closes to see if I want to order food, because he knows I get busy and lose track of time. I rented out the back room at bubs irish pub for a Christmas party for me and my friends we had a BLAST!!! The manager Brandon was so chill and accommodating, we were able to bring in our own food and decor and light candles which most places do not allow!! We had our own bartender holly and she was amazing and kept up with our large crowd! We will definitely be back next year!! 10 stars!!!!
