Has gone way way down hill. My last 3 visits have been a unmitigated disaster. 1st visit they forgot my burger. The 2nd visit it took 25 minutes after being only the 2nd car in line....and then they gave me someone else's order....and now...the 3rd time, the guy on the audio says he is the only one working on a Friday night at 9 PM...... what???? I'm never coming here again. I get help is hard to find by 1 person on a Friday night? I'm still waiting z I bet this be a minimum of 30 minutes and I was 3rd in line....

I really wish i could give a negative star. I order a 10 piece meal and two drinks. Im not exaggerating when i say I paid $15 for absolutely nothing. This is how both my drinks came. I told the employees I didn’t want half a cup of juice when I paid for a whole one. They told me they dont do refunds. On top of that the nuggets and fries were extremely hard and cold.

I was there on a really busy night and the staff was so overwhelmed but they were still professional and kept their cool. I would've been a mess. My order got lost in the mix but one of the workers noticed me still waiting and apologized. I very rarely have mistakes in my order from this location and I even more rarely have to wait at all. I know there were some rude customers in there so I hope that this offsets any negative reviews about the staff <3 They were great and always have been for me!

Garbage experience. Employees don't seem to communicate with each other. They ignore customers and take forever to make the food. Sat 15 minutes at a drive through window because the girl that was supposed to take my order was too busy on the phone to take orders. Saw 3 other people walking around behind her that should've either taken over the call or stepped in to take orders. Then I finally tell them my order and they have me pull out front.
I spent another 15 minutes out front waiting for my food that never came. So, I had to go inside an ask where my food was, to only be ignored as food was brought out to people that arrived after me.
Finally they came back in and looked around for my order, only to find it was sitting over by the drive through the whole freaking time.
I would've complained and asked for it to be remade, but the employees barely speak English and act like they don't understand you or just outright ignore you. It's frustrating.

I’ve worked in food service so I’ve been patient. Well, patience no longer, I have ordered delivery 3 times from this location to my job for my lunch break. All three times I was unable to consume the food I paid for and I am now livid. I have in two different places, say no cheese. I’m allergic, so I make it very clear, no cheese in my order. All three times I have gotten cheese. This is a lot of money I have wasted and since it is a restaurant issue not delivery issue I’m taking it up here now. Fed up, pissed off, and confused as heck.

They have moved to using self serve kiosks to order and pay for food. Though it does make possible more flexibility in individual items it is a bit cumbersome and co.plicated to use. Plus to work it properly you need to sign in use the mc donalds app. They do have two registers, but they were not staffed and closed. In addition they got the order wrong, several items we ordered and paid for were missing. We had to go back to get them.
Still the food was good. The Playland area was nice and the kids loved it.

This McDonald’s is absolutely ridiculous. First, I asked for a plain McChicken and they still gave me one with mayo. When I told them, the workers caught an attitude instead of just fixing it. Then we asked for fresh fries and they literally handed us back the SAME bag of old fries like we wouldn’t notice. That’s nasty and lazy. If you can’t handle basic customer service or make food the way people order it, maybe you shouldn’t be in business. Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to.

This McDonald’s has went downhill. Used to be one of the best around Madison.. the ice cream is a off white color and is horrible. They leave food, ice cream and cookies out- flys are flying around the food, always. The staff are nasty and rude. They act like they don’t like their jobs..
my most recent visit: November 20 @ 9:30am I placed an order for 32.31 in the drive through. I was on FaceTime with my sister. The girl at the window handed my drinks to me… barley. The window was barley open while handing me the drinks. She told me you need to move to the next window and closed the window. I put my car in park and said excuse me.. excuse me.. can you please make sure there is grape and strawberry jelly in the bag? She said yep. At that point I decided I wasn’t going to move- and I told her that. Then, I asked what was her name? She asked why multiple times and I said because I am a customer asking. She replied: I can’t give you that information and closed the window again. Finally my food came up and she handed it to me roughly. I checked my bag (usually when we go here they mess up our order). I ended up finding the number on Google and calling, asking for a manager… ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will be filing a complaint and contacting corporate. I asked for his name he said he couldn’t give me that information. What kind of “manger” doesn’t give you their name if they are indeed a manger? Aren’t they supposed to wear name tags anyways? Stay away. Stay far away.
UPDATED: visited August 10, 2025- same tall white guy with glasses and a ponytail. Refused to take my order because I wouldn’t move to the next window without my damn receipt. This is horrible. He must be a racist. Same guy working. Yet- they haven’t done anything to make it right or fix.

Worst customer service, I’ve experienced at a McDonald’s. I received the wrong sandwich & drink. Had to return to the store. Initially I went through the drive thru. I stood waiting to acknowledge for a few minutes. They definitely saw me as they were giving the Dashers their orders. I eventually called out and got his attention. I told the manager about the wrong items he took the sandwich and said do you something else, as he was bothered that he had to deal with me. I said no I want what I ordered after he gave me the order he showed no compassion, remorse nor did he apologize. I actually asked him about not showing remorse then another employee stepped in and said sorry for the wrong order.

If I could rate this location “0” stars I absolutely would. My friends and I placed a $70+ order through the mobile app. Upon arriving to pick up the food, the female at the drive through assured us that everything was in the bags that we ordered. After driving the ten to fifteen minutes back to our place and opening the bags, we realized that we were missing half of the order. We immediately called the restaurant about the missing items. The shift lead/manager that was working the night of 06/29/25 was anything but helpful. Rather than offering to remake the missing items, the manager insisted that he could not remake the order and that our items were under the heat lamp. I asked for the items to be remade as the food would have been sitting there for thirty minutes at this point. The manager proceeded to hang up on me after we insisted on having the food remade for the inconvenience. We called again and the manager told us we could come get the food but, it would not be remade.“Unfortunately we will not be remaking the food, we will not give you a refund you can come pick up the food if you would like that is the best that I can do for you”. This is exactly what was said as he again hung up. Of course we were frustrated but, the conversation was as cordial as could be. Aside from the employee hanging up on us twice. We proceeded to head over to the location. Upon arrival we observed a long line of other customers so we again called. We politely asked if we could pull up to the window since our food remained under the heat lamp. You would think that would be an easy accommodation… The manager told us that we had to wait in the long line and further declined to remake the order. I asked him what his name was and if he could provide the GM business card at the window. He refused to tell me his name. If you’ve worked in the food service industry, you would know that GM’s have business cards available upon request. You would also know that you are trained to please the customers. I only asked because the employee hung up on us twice, declined to address the problem, and never apologized for the inconvenience. Once we got to the speaker/menu we let the drive through attendant know that we were there for the missing items. They did not reply or direct us to whichever window. At this point our food had been just sitting there for forty five to sixty minutes. Once we got to the window the guy handed us our food while I again asked for the GM’s card or the corporate number. The guy at the window blatantly shut the window while I was mid-sentence. We accepted the inconvenience for what it was and got home to… who would've guessed? Cold food. I was beyond astonished and disappointed with our experience. I am writing this because I had left a voice message requesting that the GM call me back, in which they never did. Knowing now that this place operates with unprofessional and unqualified Individuals, I could never recommend this location to anyone. I suppose after this experience I can assure anyone that this location does not prioritize customer feedback and satisfaction. It is McDonalds after all, it shouldn't be too surprising.

I visited this McDonald's around 12:00 AM and ordered a 10-piece nugget meal. As I was leaving the drive-thru, I checked my bag and noticed that no sauce was included so I pulled back into the drive-thru to request the missing sauce. When I politely asked for the sauce, the employee responded in a rude tone, claiming the sauce was already in the bag and that it would cost 25 cents for extras. I explained that there was no sauce in my bag at all, and instead of resolving the issue, she started laughing. That alone was incredibly disrespectful.
I asked to speak with a manager, hoping the situation would be handled professionally. Unfortunately, the manager showed no concern and was just as dismissive, almost defending the employee by repeating the same line about sauce costing extra, completely ignoring the fact that I never received any to begin with.
I've visited this location before and received great service, but after tonight, I won't be returning. As someone who has worked in customer service, I'm honestly disgusted by the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. It's not about the sauce, it's about how poorly the situation was handled. Do better.

I experienced discrimination and racism today at the McDonald's on Odana Rd. I'm a DoorDash worker. Yesterday, April 25th, at 12:00 a.m. I stopped by McDonald's to pick up an order and wanted to order a drink to cool off. I was very tired. but the manager refused to serve me because I had only gone through the DoorDash order, so I went back around to the drive thru to order as a customer, but again the manager with much contempt and humiliation said that he was not going to sell me anything because I was a DoorDash employee and I was working, I told him several times that I work for DoorDash but that I was ordering as a customer and he yelled at me saying that he was not going to serve people like that and that if I didn't leave he was going to report me to DoorDash, just for wanting something to refresh myself, I was humiliated and discriminated against, maybe immigrants are not to their liking or maybe DoorDash workers do not deserve to have a time to rest and have a drink and eat something, it does not surprise me I have been through this before but it still doesn't stop hurting to be treated so badly.

Theyre having issues with their location and the app working properly, everytime a drive thru order is placed and we get there to pick it up and give the code they claim they can’t find the order. They claim we have to click “I’m already here” instead of the actual code, once we do that it gives a different code that you have to go “inside” to pick it up. They try to dismiss the issue by blaming the customer saying we don’t know how to use the app when I’ve used the app hundreds of times.

So, it is the second day of spring break and I am visiting friends in Madison. I walk in this Mcdonalds to get my boys some smoothies and let them play at the playplace. I order at the first kiosk by the door and then walk straight into the play area after turning around.
What I see surprises me... there are four people working on laptops and one on the phone. They are taking all the tables. I see a chair in the corner and sit while my boys take their shoes off. One man, presumably in charge tells me it is fine to be there... their next session doesn't start for an hour and a half.
??? Mind racing, I ask if it is closed and if I walked passed a sign. Indeed it was and I had. A piece of paper with BIG BOLD FONT. *facepalm*
I was encouraged to let my boys play anyway. The boys enjoyed their time until our order arrived and then we enjoyed smoothies outside the play area. I hope your meeting goes well. Thank you kind corperate-type stranger! Your courtesy and kindness was appreciated.

My daughter was chewing on some french fries in her happy meal that turned out to be a Band-Aid. The management offered nothing and simply claimed. Nobody on the staff was wearing a Band-Aid. We are revolted and will never eat at McDonald’s again.

Whenever I go to this McDonalds, they park me. I noticed they park most of the cars. Even when I get a simple order like a cheeseburger and fries, they still park me. When I worked at McDonalds about 10 years ago, this was a strategy my managers used to help their times, since they said parked cars basically had unlimited time (this always bothered me). I have a strong feeling something similar is going on at this location. Today I got 2 fries and a Big Mac, but it took 10-15 minutes to get my food.

So whoever the manager is here at 9:45pm 02/28/2025 ordered $50 worth of food told the manager a burger was missing and he stated it was put in the bag when we showed him everything that was in the bag on cheese burger and all nuggets he suggested we weren't getting our burger that was supposed to be a #7 2 cheeseburgers a pop and a fry and told us to leave he couldn't help us I will be calling corporate tomorrow he needs to be trained again at management and fired

I go to this location frequently after work and every time the tall guy with the beard is managing at night he has been super rude and unhelpful. He refused to allow us to pick up our 2 prepaid separate orders through the drive-thru, when asked why he just repeated “one order per car” in a very aggressive tone. I asked why again and said that nobody except him personally has ever told me that and I wanted to know the reason. He said “you can have no orders then” and refused to answer the microphone. I then went inside and asked to pick up my mobile order and was told I would have to go through the drive through or cancel and reorder for in store pickup. There is no reason why this would be the case except that he gets off on being rude to customers. He was extremely nasty to me unprompted every time I have seen him working at night. He refused to give me a name or even acknowledge my request to speak to a manager. I have never in my life interacted with someone less suited to a customer service position

I am highly disappointed at Mc.Donald's today or shall i say disappointed in general. Today I ordered the large size of the mcflurry, and when I received it and it wasn't even half full. I should have bought the small size if this was what I'm getting. Whenever I order from this location they always mess up my order in some way, and I'm getting tired of it. How am I supposed to say the slogan "I'm loving it" if I'm not loving it. I love mc.donalds but lately they've been letting me down.

I ordered online at 10:53pm for curbside pickup, not knowing they lock the doors at 11pm and can’t come outside to hand us our food. So, I waited 20 minutes for my food.
I tried opening the door but it was locked and when I went through the drive-thru, the guy said it was ready a while ago, which pissed me off.
The guy saw and knew we were waiting and didn’t say anything while locking the door. He could’ve just opened the door and told us to go to the drive-thru before locking up.
Man I’m just bummed out my fries weren’t fresh.

This happened on October 25 between 12 and 1 AM. I called this restaurant about 20 minutes before arriving to confirm if they were still serving Flurries and Sundaes, and they said yes. However, when we got there (8 of us), the guy at the drive-thru was very rude and informed us that they had stopped serving them for the rest of the night. It would have been helpful if they had given us a heads-up on the phone that they were about to stop serving, as it would have saved us a 40-minute round trip. People like him shouldn't work in the food industry if they cannot just talk kindly.

I’m so disappointed in this location. This Hispanic lady came out with our food. We drove away and when I was looking through the back she gave us the wrong order. We couldn’t go back since we were on a time schedule. They need to have better communication with other coworkers and with their customers.
