It's McDonald's so I won't bother rating the food. It's exactly like every other McDonald's.
About 1 out of every 3 times I eat there I have to bring my fries back because they're cold and soggy. McDonald's needs to shorten the amount of time they keep fries.
The staff at this one is usually pretty good and friendly.
The restaurant itself is almost always clean and inviting.

Terrible customer service at the McDonald's on 4500 University Avenue, Madison. I regularly order large fries from this location, and more often than not, the box is not properly filled. Today, I finally decided to call it out and showed the underfilled fries to the staff. Instead of addressing my concern, the so-called "manager" was outright rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. His response? "One or two more fries is all that can be added," followed by a cold and condescending, "Okay, take the refund." No apology, no courtesy, just a complete lack of respect for customers.

If this is how they treat regular customers, I can only imagine how bad it gets for others. McDonald's employees have some basic customer service standards, but clearly, this location doesn’t care. Absolutely unacceptable.

Id give it zero stars if I could. Went to this location once,and that was enough for me,they can't make sandwiches right at all. (I ordered steak bagel meals,both with no onion/egg or seasoning,but extra sauce and what I actually got was the bagel,very little sauce,no cheese and 2 nasty dry/thin steaks that's I swear were sausages at first-werent fresh off the grill at all). Sandwiches were so dry and nasty i had to use another drink to get them down). Think I will just stick with corporate McDonalds instead or at least avoid ones owed by these people

Haven’t been to McDonald’s often but felt I needed to give this one a review as it stands out - the food was good, the staff very courteous (most McDonald’s don’t even have anyone interact with you these) and as my 6 year old said “this is the best McDonald’s ever” - when I asked why she thought so she told me it was the “cleanest.”

I've never had any real problems with this place until tonight. They absolutely soaked my cheeseburger in ketchup. The bun had ketchup soaked up into it like a wet sponge. Someone really worked hard to make this happen. it had to be a intentional FU there's no way someone could have done this by mistake. I can't even eat it. Never going back.

If I could give negative 0 I would. I now have stopped there few times in past year and each time food is old and cold. But tonight topped all the other terrible times. I ordered 1 quarter pounder meal and 1 double quarter pounder meal. We get home sit down to eat 15 mins later or maybe more and I take 1 bite before my husband could and I yelled cuz my meat was raw. Outside of it was cooked literally just the outside. The whole inside was red! Disgusting! I just spent 30 bucks on food we couldn't eat. I will not get food poisoning nope not happening. Of course ordered myself at the kiosk, because McDonalds never has a person at the counter anymore. The burger was $10 by itself after I added the bacon to make it their "featured" (though unavailable on the menu) burger. Received the food and headed back to my room and the burger looked like it had been swept off the floor and tossed in the container by accident. It was COMPLETELY soggy and inedible! Every time I come here, I have to build my own sandwich. Always, always, the meat is halfway off the bun, and the toppings are just thrown in there haphazardly.

I get that nobody working at McDonald's is paid enough money to do their best work. I don't blame the employees necessarily. But the POINT of McDonald's is you should be able to grab the food and eat it. If I wanted to take a of ingredients and arrange then into a viable sandwich formation myself, I'd go to the grocery store.

I'm very tired of this McDonald's. They don't prepare the food. They throw ingredients angrily into the bag and expect you to make it yourself.

Bucciferro family, I suspect you've got a morale problem here. There's literally no other excuse for your employees not to be taking the extra 2.5 seconds to make sure the sandwich is actually a sandwich before handing it to me.

My experience with this place begins with the food, which is convenient, mostly tasty, and quick. But it also includes the entry and exit doors to the men's restroom, which are not at all handicap accessible. The door to the bathroom is impossibly difficult to open. There also needs to be more grab bars in the bathroom. Outside of the bathroom, staff is always helpful at this McD. restaurant. But The outside set of doors is terribly wheelchair antiaccessible. The sidewalk it is on is too narrow and too near to the street, where cars enter for drive-thru access.

The restaurant was clean. The service was amazing. My daughter had surgery and wanted to stop. The manager was awesome and asked her what she would like and if she would like to pick out her prize. She was tickled pink. They made this mama proud to stop, because of interacting with her. It was a relaxing time to be able to have lunch. Thank you.

They couldn’t even get a Sausage McMuffin and Hash Brown order right (missing hash brown) with a practically empty dinning room. Standing around with their arms crossed. Don’t know if anyone will read this, but you guys had great service until I went there this morning. It took 22 minutes to go through the drive Thru! When I got to the window after waiting 10 of those minutes for the guy to take my order, it was obvious there was no manager. The guy at the window was trying, and I’ll give him that, but he was taught NO organizational skills. The other guy, an obvious adolescent mentality stood around in the way with his arms inside a reflective vest, interrupting the other guy with stupid comments so he had a hard time. The food turned out good and hot, just can’t wait 20 min for food!
