Arguably the best wings in Milwaukee without a doubt!! The food is prepared fresh, the service is nice, and the place is always clean and well kept. You can tell the team takes pride in the food and the restaurant itself!! My go to wing spot! My favorite is the 12 piece combo, Medium and Lemon pepper mixed(not half and half, but medium sauce and seasoning mixed!)

It felt like they ran out of mild and just put buffalo on top. It’s an extra $3.00 for all flats so i got the mixed pieces. There were 3 flats and the rest were drummies. That didn’t feel very mixed

This is a review for the new location on 27th Street. Ordered a boneless wings combo. Boneless wings are boneless wings, where ever you order them. However, this restaurant is set apart by its sauces, which are magical. I got the honey BBQ and the Mild sauces on my wings. Let me tell you, there is no comparison between Buffalo Boss and other chain establishments. Buffalo Boss is SO much better. The mild is slightly spicy and has a sweet undertone. Tangy. I wanted to lick the rest of the sauce off the plate when I was done, weird but true. The BBQ is equally delicious and had a good level of complexity without being overly sweet. Superb sauces. The order took a little longer than I thought to prepare, but maybe that is because this is a newer location (27th St). I think there was only one person working at the time (lunch hour) that I ordered. I'd also share that the music was a bit intense (loud) and there was both loud lobby music and loud music coming from the kitchen, which would have been annoying if I was trying to dine-in. I was taking my order to go, so it was tolerable. Give them a try if you love wings!

It's alright but not great.

I ordered the lemon pepper sandwich. It was sloppy and didn't look appealing. The taste was 3 out of 5. My fries were cold too. Another thing was the cashier had her own meal on the side that she was eating between orders. It was disgusting watching her eat. I hope they get it together but for now there are WAY BETTER OPTIONS.

Price to high for average food. I definitely didn't get my money's worth. Eight Little wings Plus some french fries for 19 bucks. The wings are edible but not $19 edible it's nothing special about them I could have went to pick n save and enjoyed the wings a lot better.
Then they want to charge you for a cup of ice on top of that no soda came with it or anything.
So basically what I'm saying I cannot afford to be throwing money away like that. So if you ain't willing to just pay for average food and you don't mind and you want to support a business then that's a good place to go but do not expect nothing spectacular.

Most places when they say “it’s spicy!” Give you some lame watered down McDonalds or Franks Red Hot

Listen I don’t know what they are using to cook at Buffalo Boss but my momma would be jealous.
This sauce was the perfect combination of Spicy and Flavor and you could tell it used some kind of Habanero base! Mouth watering heat - food coma inducing flavor!

The pieces were huge… I saved some for later!

The chicken is also unique and not your average tender style.
The price for the tenders was a bit steep but we’re supporting local businesses - a must!
(Around $14)

One of the things I really hate is a company where I go to pick up the food by a certain time and it is not ready. Well I am SO HAPPY to say that did not happen. I was there yesterday at 2:45 and it was ready at that time exactly. It was exactly what I ordered and great food. Fully recommend them.

Highly recommend picking it up compared to using the delivery services. The delivery services add as much as $15 to the base price of an item, not including the added fees for service. I saw an extra $50 for a party tray.

Me and my husband visited here for the first time today. The fries were cold and stuck together also grease filled. Half if my flats were busted and bruised,, but my husband's boneless chicken was on point. The sauces were also on point. Stated 25-30mins over the phone, got there 45 mins if not more, still waited at least 5mins if not more.There’s a mask mandate in Milwaukee, I didn’t see not one employee with a mask on, smh. Got bone in wings and tenders. The bone in was dry and had almost the consistency of beef jerky. However, we ordered “extra crispy “ so maybe that’s what we get. Now, the tenders on the other hand were super dry, not juicy at all. The best thing about the meal were the fries. Will I go back? I will give them another chance, especially since I had fond memories of this place having good wings. But I’m not going to gamble $50 more than 1 more time with them to get it right.

Tried some wings and fries for the first time through Grubhub delivery last night. The wings were fantastic! Best I've had around here in awhile. I tried the traditional Hot and Blazin BBQ, both sauces were incredible. But paired with the homemade Bleu Cheese dip... *chef's kiss.* It was perfect. Even the fries, where I usually don't expect much, were fantastically cooked. The perfect balance between thickness and crispiness on the outside. Will definitely be ordering again!

Tiny bruised chicken. Definitely not organic wings. I buy organic wings and they VERY RARELY are bruised and bloody. The wings are so small, literally micro. The “Buffalo” sauce is definitely super sweet and slimy. Definitely not appetizing. This is my first and last time.

I gave this restaurant 3 attempts prior to writting this review. My first experience was a call in order. I was told it would be 15 minutes. I waited about 20 minutes prior to arriving at Buffalo Boss. Again, this was my first time. I was not greeted. Walked up & paid for my food. & that is when the cook began to prepare it. So I waited another 20 to 25 minutes for my food to be done. The cashier that day was not the most pleasant. Even a young lady who most likely works there (but was off or on break) was trying help to delegate & assist with making sure customers were getting there orders & taking incoming calls. Ultimately I left unhappy, but did get an apology from a gentleman who may have been the owner. I have no clue. The second time I did a call in order at night. That order went fine. No complaints. Now as of today, I placed an online order for my co workers & I. We both ordered combos & neither of us received our fries with our order. That mistakes is simply unacceptable. WE ORDERED COMBOS. The food is good but the service definitely needs to be improved.

This place is AMAZING. It is organic as well. You can't beat that. The chicken taste like real chicken. Nice and juicy and big pieces. Especially the chicken tender meal.
