We waited for about 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter and take our order. One of the ice cream cones we got the ice cream wasn't pushed down and the scoop rolled right off the cone. They replaced it free of charge.

Went to Buona in Lake Geneva,WI for dinner. Ordered 1/2 beef, small French Fries and small drink. Restaurant very busy mostly couples and families. Dining room very clean, well lit and lots of employees cleaning, delivering food to tables and a well staffed behind the counter preparing food. Was impressed by the employee behind the counter, her name was Connie, as she could not be any nicer and knowledgeable of your menu. Connie was out in the dining room cleaning tables and wiping down tables and booths. She asked me how was my food and listened to what I had to say.

This place is excellent. Been here around 10 or so times, have ordered the italian beef every time except for 2 times when I ordered their ravioli. You can easily tell the pasta is homemade and the marinara sauce, which I get with my italian beefs, is delicious. Drive thru is always efficient as well.

my salad was INCREDIBLE — HUGE portion, at least two meals’ worth.

I just discovered this restaurant as it is new in Lake Geneva. I have to say the Italian Beef sandwich is unbelievable. I didn't think their food would be as good as it is. The food is outstanding Chicago style beef. The restaurant is new, clean and service is friendly. If it is busy you may need to park and wait for them to bring out your food, but worth the wait.

I heard they were going to open a Buona Beef in Lake Geneva, honestly I was disapointed I really, really, wanted a Portillos. However I said that without giving them a chance and I'll admit I was pleasantly surprised. Food was really good, right on par with Portillos so I can reccomend them, service was good not great, but neither is Portllos. The thing Portlillis beats them out in is Atmosphere. If you have been to Portillos and come here(not that its ugly or anything)you will know what I mean.

Connie is Always so incredibly helpful And sweet! She always tries to apply my reward points to anything I purchase. She helps me with whatever silly questions I may have and always does it with a smile!
She is one of the main reasons I keep coming back over and over again. The food and the service at the Lake Geneva store is absolutely fabulous.

We have ordered from Buona and the Original Rainbow Cone since it opened in Lake Geneva. From Chicago and lived near the flagship store on Western avenue. The Italian beef sandwich (always dipped or baptized) with giardinara and cheese is delicious. The onion rings, Mediterranean chicken salad, chicken parmesan, and meatball sandwiches are also really, really good. We top off our orders with a pint or quart of the rainbow ice cream. Don't walk, RUN to Buona for awesome food and yummy dessert. Worth every penny! Thank you Buona beef in Lake Geneva for giving me a taste of home.

As a customer, I watched a manager completely destroy a young female employee by embarrassing and yelling at her. I’ve frequented this establishment numerous times and this girl is a good worker(never seen her standing around doing nothing like the managers.
I’ve stopped using DoorDash with this place because apparently the DD drivers don’t get their tips when ordering off the website. Theft is no bueno!

We ordered vanilla shakes , chicken ,avocado protein bowl minuse the green onions and peppers add mozzarella cheese very good ! also ordered the regular beef with mozzarella dry gravy on the side was oily and spices but the sandwich was amazing! had an Italian sausage with mozzarella and marinara sauce that was super yummy !!!
