Ordered chicken strips, nuggets, 2 fries, and 2 large pops. Pop machine out of order by tables was broken. Never received our pop and waited 40 minutes and no food. I went up to the counter and asked about the food. Others received some food after our order when I went up they had been trying to fill order numbers 16 and up. We were number 12. My guess was our order was deleted and missed. Many were getting wrong orders. I asked for a refund. We were there almost an hour without receiving food, drinks, and getting a refund. We left and went to Culver's. It was 8 min for food there. This is in Platteville. Burger King looked short handed and they were trying but had a hard time keeping up.

We came here to get some food we only ordered two meals. We waited about 20 mins until we decided to leave without our food due to how long they were taking. We came back an hour later only we were in line for food we still waited over 10 mins for our food. When we asked if the guy was ready to take our order he told us his was catching up on lobby work he said this with sass. We pulled forward whole time this guy was talking on the phone to someone. This was just unbelievable. It’s called fast food for a reason. I understand we all have those days but waited 10-20 mins TWICE come on now do better.

They were pretty busy in the drive thru, so I understand the tables were in need of a wipe down. We ate inside we asked for things to be taken off our burgers and they did perfect. Food was warm and good. Young man at the counter was very nice and efficient. I wish I got his name because he definitely deserves a shout out!

G.M. Apparently is doing something right as the food quality and customer care has increased 10 fold from last time I was there in February. And sometimes, we have a small wait but the staff is so friendly they will chat with us while we wait and tell a funny joke or ensure us that we will be taken care of very soon. Well, worth the wait when there is one!

After running late on 10/14/2024 from a Dr appointment I decided to stop at Burger King to far a early supper for me and my family..we live ragout 4 miles from Bk.and as soon as we gott home we decided to while still warm…I don’t know if it was new workers or what,as soon as everyone bit into the whooper we all realized the buns weren’t as soft as normal,and after looking closer there wasn’t ANY mayo on any of the 4 burgers..everyone ate what they could,,not around the still edges……I will from now on…if I’m going to spend $30.00 on 4 burgers go elsewhere.I’ve heard this place had really goose down hill now I know why…what a waste of $30.00…

Ordered from here using DoorDash, and when the order was delivered my Dr. Pepper was missing. When I called the location they literally offered me next to nothing and, of course, tried to pass the buck onto DoorDash. I wouldn't be posting something as trivial as a missing Dr. Pepper, but this is the third order of mine that this Burger King location has screwed up on. Turns out, third time wasn't a charm.

Haven't been here in awhile and just went for lunch. Had some guy working there who did my whole order and he was excellent. Nice, respectful, and knowledgeable, don't see that too much in food service now so it was a pleasant surprise. He was manager or assistant manager I saw on his shirt (well deserved by the looks of it), the owner of this location should do whatever it takes to keep him there. Guy should be making at least $30/hr

3 People in line and took me 20 minutes to get my order and it was still wrong. They didn’t know how to run the breakfast shift or what a double croissant was suppose to have on it even though it’s a main breakfast item. This place has one of the hardest working staff I have encountered. They do a great job, and I'm sure underpaid for the effort they do to service their customers. I have found that 3 employees are usually on duty, and they make every effort to get orders out as fast as the three can do, usually getting scolded by patrons expecting faster service. This staff works as best they can with what they have. I like Burger King better than McDonald’s so I don't mind the wait. But you can't find a group who work as hard as they do.
I will return and I don't mind the slight delay. You are doing the best you can.

2nd time order screwed up. last time i went in and ordered biscuit from value menu, she charged full price. had to call manager to fix.

Some major changes happened here recently. After reading online that this place may have turned a corner away from its poor reputation, we gave it another try- and very glad we did. Only 3-4 mins through the drive thru on a Friday night and received very fresh, delicious food. Great job to whoever is implementing changes here to make it a satisfactory place to get a quick meal.

Pretty great location. Platteville is really expanding and growing these past few years. Burger King isn't usually very busy. There's plenty of parking. This is a great, cheap place to bring your kids and family. Very clean and well taken care of.
Downside: EVERY time I go, they have messed up my order in one way or another. I could forgive once or twice. But this is literally every single time I go.
The people that work here know very little about their job or their product. They are a bunch of under educated college kids working their first job. Give them a break here and there. Don't harass them through the drive thru and cuss at them at the counter.

Went in today as a doordash delivery driver. Staff took 10 minutes to acknowledge I was there then put in the order for my customer. Observed a guy washing dishes dropping them on the floor and putting them on a drying area without rewashing after they were on the floor. Then told broiler wasn't working right and would be even longer for food. Worst service, staff and food in Platteville.

Be sure to have 30-45 minutes set aside to wait in the drive through. Even with nobody in line, takes over a half an hour to get your food. Staff here are very short with you when you do eventually get your food. Don’t expect to be treated very well or with any respect. Try to avoid coming to this location, the McDonald’s across the street has much better service and that’s saying something…

Not body shaming anyone but every time the older plus size lady is working drive through at lunchtime, she is rude and my order always comes out wrong. Today I asked for easy condiments on my whopper and she asked me what that meant smh, then proceeded to give me a burger soaked in ketchup and mayo. @7:40 pm I drove my crew to BK and they all (5 guys) went in. All of a sudden they were coming back out with an employee behind them locking the doors. They said that they had to go through the drive- thru to order. Why was the door unlocked and why did they have to order on foot in the drove thru which closed at 8:00 pm according to their sign on the door

I visit several locations during my 4 hour drives.
This location in Crystal Lake , Il has friendly staff that go beyond being burger restaurant employees by answering local questions and offering to help with mobile app questions !!! Much nicer than some locations .

That store hurting so badly need more body's for the floor.. the DM doesn't really reach out to help out the store in Platteville.. The GM such a nice person you can tell she really trying to bust her butt.. I love my whoppers ..that GM is at the store alot I think she lives there give her a raise or help her find more to build her team. Help find people that are nice want too work.. seen big improvement sence the new GM took over have too say. There things too improve but like any job that for sure. Need to reopen the dining room. Anyone who drives a big truck or pulls a trailer behind a vehicle can't use the drive up. They are just loosing business by only having drive up service only. My last order I was not happy with at all. Just like Joe Pesci says in Leathal Weapon, you always get F'd at the drive through. Especially this one. Fries were cold and burger was wrong. Soposed to get a bacon king combo, got a whopper instead. Glad I screwed out of what I really wanted. Can't go inside to talk to anyone ! Didn't realize until I got home. Wasn't about to drive back and talk to a drive up speaker and wait in line again for their mix up.

Went through the drive thru for two croissants for breakfast. They had me wait 5 or so minutes as more people rolled up to the other order lane and the lady proceeds to start taking the other lanes order first after she gets done arguing with another customer which I could hear over her mic.
Kinda annoyed me so I left. Their croissants always come out cold when they’re busy anyway so I wasn’t feeling it at that point. Poor multitasking and customer service skills.

If you want good service then don't go here. My husband and I were treated so rudely by both the lady working the drive thru and the manager herself. When I told the manager how we felt being treated rudely she didn't even apologize she just said there was a misunderstanding. Sorry, but a misunderstanding doesn't mean you treat your customers rudely. While arguing with her over this she basically told us "I'm not forcing you to come here." Also, to make matters worse the order wasn't even done correctly. So save yourself some trouble and just go across the street to McDonald's or anywhere else.

Very rude staff! The manager literally told me and my wife to not come back after i politely told them i’m not satisfied lol how are they still in business if they tell unsatisfied customers not to come back.

I wish I could give negative star's. Waited in line for 15 minutes we just wanted a whopper meal and 6 cheese sticks. When we finally got to the window the Employee asked 3 different times what we ordered in the first 5 minutes no big deal but then 10 more minutes went but the same Employee opens the window and asked why we were still in line? Then we got a bag of food and the only thing in is was 3 cheese sticks and a cold whopper no fries drink and wrong number of cheese sticks. Luckily we hadn't left when they came back we had them get us the correct food but it was all cold a inedible. I'm not sure what was wrong with those cheese sticks but they smelt like the inside of my moms septic tank. This is the first and last time I have eaten at a Burger King.

It's 545pm and they are closed. I have had nothing but issues with this burger king. I have no clue how they are opened. Their customer service is horrible. They need to replace it with a Wendy's or arby's idk be happy and I use to love burger king too. ☹️☹️

Home of the misfits. Sat in drive through for 10 minutes no one moving. Two cars drove off. I pulled up and was told be right with you. 5 minutes later i drove off. Across the street which was much busier in and out before the car in front of me at burger king still in line. Needs fixed or wont be open long.

Went through drive thru sat in drive through for at least 10mins no car moving.Finally 2 cars ahead of us drove off.We get up to order & nobody spoke sayn 'be right with you"or anything.Called manager was rude said "well we're busy"no apologies"ended up leaving went to busiest fast food n town & got n & out faster & cars at drive thru burger King still there!

Just go somewhere else if you want your order right or complete. Foods seems to be cooked fine, sometimes stingy on special condiments like caramelized onions. Always seems to run out of something where I would have to order something else.

Took 15 minutes in drive thru to get cold hashbrowns and pop with little to no syrup in it within 20 minutes of the store opening for the day. When I called to complain, teh lady told me if I was that unhappy then I should just come in and apply. No apology, no reciept, nothing....will NEVER visit the Platteville, WI location again.

1 star too many! Thought we would give a try.....wrong thought! It is sad when bun is warmer than meat. Food was cooked long before we got there. Dry, lukewarm and tasteless. Covid 19 shut down and employee takes trash from car in front of us and doesn't change gloves. Will NEVER go again!

This place deserves a negative star. The drive thru is slow they had two people working they didn't give receipt. I got my sandwiches home only one sandwich had a tomato on it. I called and asked why they said because of the shortage they couldn't put tomatoes on the sandwich the person on the phone hung up on me. She thought I wanted free food that's not even what I wanted.
