I ordered my food online but still messed up the order. The burger, onion rings, and soda were good. The chicken nuggets were old. They forgot my sauces had to back. I had to call out hello to get someone to come to the counter so I could get my sauces. The girl with pink hair working the counter was asking a co-worker if he liked working there complaining to the co-worker she didn't like working. And it showed her adatude and demeanor showed.

Often your burger has been sitting for a long time and they microwave it to warm it up. The problem is they microwave it way too long. This changes the taste and begins to dissolve the bun. However, this is it for fast food on Twin Lakes. Lots of good bars and pubs though.

Food is cold, never a reciept, the woman running the window and the guy flipping the burgers look like they just crawled out of a septic tank. I wasn’t able to read their name tag but whoever was working the drive thru window on November 6th at about 8:20 pm, they were very considerate and efficient with my order. They asked me if I wanted any sauce with my fries as well as what kind and how many packets I wanted. The food also came out really fast, I couldn’t have been in the drive thru for more than 5 minutes and the food was amazing. Someone is cooking in that kitchen. Everyone working at this location deserves a raise!

The morning and afternoon drive thru crew Tim, Kayla and Deena, don’t get the appreciation they deserve. They are the managers and longtime employees. Service is excellent. Food is great! The Whopper is the best burger in the last 50+ years!

Update September 2023: Kayla remains while Tim and Deena left. Kayla is Store Manager with Jenn and McKala providing superior support. Two thumbs up!! Wish I had three!!!

The entire crew is worthy of praise. I’m a longtime satisfied customer. I don’t get the petty complaints some people make. This store and crew are the best thing that’s happened to Twin Lakes in the last decade!

If I could give zero stars I would. I went there at about 7:30pm. I ordered two burgers and a large fry and I receive not even a full small fry. The most frustrating part was the girl taking the order was very rude on the speaker and then when we got to the window she ripped the card out of my partners hand. I am very disappointed.

Oh. My. God. This burger king location absolutely SUCKS. It pains me to even give it one star. The service is awful, the worst I’ve ever experienced, and not just from one employee there. Multiple employees there have been outright rude, and disrespectful. Such as basically tossing your food and drinks to you, snatching your card or cash, slamming the drive through window in your face, and making comments such as “whatever” when you ask for clarification on your order, or anything additional such as a STRAW or NAPKINS. Not to mention the fact that our order is NEVER correct. Everyone there looks absolutely miserable. If they’re as miserable as they present themselves to their clientele, it’s in their best interest to quit, or better yet, be fired. It’s a shame to live in Twin Lakes and this fast food location really being one of the only quick bites available within a 5 minute drive, but you’re better off driving to Paddock Lake, 20 MINUTES AWAY. Absolutely awful, disgusting location. Should be absolutely ASHAMED of themselves.

Went this morning for breakfast. There was one car ahead of us. Worker came on the mic with "what do you want today?" Pulled up, still no greeting. The cashier was extremely rude. Took my order and walked away, they were not busy. Didn't give me my receipt and I had to grab it. Then the store manager refused to have a district manager contact me so as I could file a complaint. Telling me that Burger King does not have district managers. Then told me, well you haven't given me a good reason to have them call you. If I'm filing a complaint against staff at the location. I like to leave the benefit of the doubt before I get all worked up about 1 bad experience but I've been to this location numerous times and it's getting worse. Food is always wrong, never puts the sauce in the bag. It's like a bunch of buddies from school are hanging out and occasionally handing out food. If I worked like this when I worked fast food, I would've been fired on the spot, but oh I guess you can't get fired when there is never a manager around either. Be that person and make sure everything is in the bag before you drive away from the window cuz if you end up having to walk in chances are they'll ignore you. Terrible

Yesterday, Feb 3rd at 11:15 am, I went through the Twin Lakes BK drive-thru and ordered a sundae pie and a frozen coke. While in line I noticed my co-worker was behind me. When I got to the window my total was only $4, so I asked the cashier how much was the guy behind me’s order, $15 and some change. I told her I’d like to pay for his lunch. Handed her a $20 and got a dime back. Later that day I was talking to my co-worker and turns out the cashier still chargers him and he paid for his order. Pretty weak sauce.

Skinny dude who has worked there at least a year is literally the rudest person I’ve ever met. I’ve worked fast food so I know the ins and outs and he just stands around and ignores you. And if he does Grace you with speaking to you it’s in the world most sarcastic voice. He’s left me parked and forgotten my order so many times and will sometimes just forget what he’s even getting the customers. Should have been fired his day one but this whole place doesn’t have very nice workers. And stop parking people when you have literally no one behind them just because you want to improve your service times or text without the customers watching you. Two weeks ago my husband got a taco from BK Twin Lakes and became violently ill. Had to take an ambulance ride to St. Katherines Hosp in Kenosha where he underwent several tests because in addition to the severe food poisoning he was being treated for they also had to deal with what they classified as a possible heart attack brought on by the stress of the vomiting. It was a day! Never go there again.
