Delicious!!! We stop here whenever there is a volleyball tournament and it does not disappoint!! Try the meatloaf!!!!! The only thing is each time we’ve been in, the way they pour beers has wayyy to much head - like 1/3 to 1/2 of the glass - we thought it might be because we had tried a specialty beer, but I took a picture of the other beers that were getting poured and they’re all like that. So I would say for next visit, please more beer instead ;) !

I’m not sure what happened with the food at this location today but it tasted like reheat and eat. The frites weren’t hot, fresh and crispy, the Luxemburger was well seasoned but not served hot, the cucumber salad wasn’t light and crunchy from freshly pickled veggies but tasted like jarred pickles with a pinch of spice. I’m surprised because it wasn’t busy and Café Hollander is a spot where you can anticipate quality. It must be one of those days.

We’ve been coming here for a few years - lively and fun! The outdoor seating during warm weather is the best! Service is always good - fast, friendly. Great bar, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Fantastic place to catch a game, meet friends, hang out for a family meal. Food is always good - make sure to try the pretzel bites! Tried & true Wisconsin favorites on the menu! There is definitely something for everyone here!

I recently visited Cafe Hollander this month and was blown away by the service. Our server Ronin recommended the Whipped Feta to start and it was one of the most delicious and refreshing appetizers to start our meal with. I then ordered the Bacon Avocado Chicken Wrap with a side of the Sweet Potato fries. Those are the best Sweet Potato fries I have ever had. Our server then recommended the Sriracha Ranch to go with the fries and it was the best combo I have tried. Will definitely be coming back.

I really love this place, I’ve been to all of their locations in MKE and it’s my go-to spot when coming from Washington DC. They have the BEST, cleanest, and most delicious Mussels in all of Milwaukee for a mindboggling low $16. Always my first and last meal in Milwaukee and I’d pay $50 for their mussels any day of the week. Matt was perhaps the coolest server I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Super super cool, down-to-earth guy and gave us a wonderful experience from start to finish. Went in for a drink and a burger last night. Sat at the bar and had good service from the 2 tenders. Decent old fashioned wasn’t expecting anything more than that from a beer bar. Food order was placed for burger ( MR) fries and basil aioli. It came in timely manner, and that’s where the positives end. The plate was either to large or the amount of fries to small or both. I know they used to serve 1/2 # patties for their burgers but I’m pretty certain this was 1/3# now ( could be wrong but I doubt it ) or it had been sitting awhile par cooked and shrunk, needless to say the size of the burger patty was disappointing. The burger was way overcooked there was not a spec of pink or moisture left in it. I had to place the basil aioli on the burger to have enough moisture to finish it. The value of the drinks and meal was ok if they had cooked the burger correctly, but I will be looking for somewhere else to get my burger fix in the future.

We rented the igloo which was fun and the server was excellent. The Spicy Badger Bloody Mary is by far my favorite cocktail, especially since it comes with a beer chaser! My husband opted for the Naked Burger, because beauty is in the simplicity. Loved the food here. Visited on a sunday evening-the place was not too crowded. We really liked the cream of mushroom soup with pesto mozzarella flat bread. The sconei burger is just amazing. I used to love this place and always make sure to visit whenever I come back to milwaukee. However the last few times I’ve been, it’s a little worse every time, and today it was just awful. The service was super slow, so I let our server know we had limited time and wanted to order everything right away. Despite doing that it still took over 30 minutes from the time we sat to when we had our food. My fries were burnt yet cold. Our server was friendly, but the hostesses were straight up rude. They said nothing to us on the way out, my friend said thank you to them and they just completely ignored him. HE thanked THEM after we just spent $70 on a slow, mediocre at best meal, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to respond. Definitely will not be wasting any more money here in the future.

Went to Café Hollander to watch Netherlands match for the Euro. The atmosphere is always inspiring. I ordered a peach libation; I normally don't care for fruity ales, but this was amazing!

I arrived here at 6:45 on a Sunday night. We ordered at about 7. At 7:30 we were told they forgot to put our food in. Then 15 minutes later brought out one dish that was completely incorrect, my friends dish was so small and totally skimpy! Then at 8 after being told they would make my food, came out and told me they are unable to make my food because they are out of the necessary ingredients. Server was apologetic thankfully, I come here often and am very dissatisfied in my experience today.

Food is great but if the actual amount of food served gets any smaller, they can become a tapas restaurant. Seriously! The beet and strawberry salad had so little salad, strawberries or beets that it was a total rip off at $15. I won’t be ordering salads at Hollander again. And just give us a few more fries with the sandwiches. Everything is so skimpy, it’ll make me think twice before coming here again, even though it’s actually really tasty and the service is good.

My husband and I came here on a recommendation from a family member and we were so glad we did. The service was great and the atmosphere was so inviting yet very chill which we appreciated. The Brew City Benedict was one of if not the single best restaurant breakfast dish I've ever had. The flavors were balanced but far from boring. I loved every bite! My husband got the Berry & Sweet Brie French Toast and described it as a sweet plate with great texture. He thoroughly enjoyed it. We both paired our breakfast with one of their house made mochas and those too were fantastic. If I were a local I'd be a regular here! Will be back next time I'm in town!

The food is always good but seems to hit. Different & is more on point in the mornings. Shout out to the cooks in the AM, I honestly can taste and see a difference in the quality. Lol sounds odd but I sware it's noticeably different 😅 *chefs kiss
