My numerous repeat visits... The quality of the cuisine is truly five-star, and it's a testament to the kitchen's excellence that I have endured less-than-ideal conditions to enjoy it.
​However, I must issue a strong advisory regarding the Friday breakfast service. Patrons seeking a calm or family-friendly morning environment should be forewarned. During this time, the dining area is often dominated by a particular group whose loud and clearly inappropriate humor is distracting and offensive. The content of the conversation is certainly not suitable for children, and frankly, it detracts significantly from the overall dining experience for all others.

Our party of three arrived about a half hour before the kitchen closed for the day. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the place; the tables, seats, floor, menus, restrooms--even the windowsills--were all very clean. (No sticky residues!) Everyone found food to suit their tastes, and the service was friendly and efficient. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich, which sounds ordinary but it exceeded my expectations. Multigrain bread, thick layer of tuna, fresh tomato and leaf lettuce ... this is a type of sandwich I'd make at home, but I could eat only half of this one. We all chose fruit for a side and were astonished at how fresh and beautiful it was. Likely because it's summer, each bowl included ten different varieties. We were only passing through the area, but I would definitely return if we have the opportunity.

First time at this restaurant, while on a day trip, and we decided to stop here, because of all the excellent reviews. The Food is presented excellently and neat, portions are generous, which is important to me and the taste is next level. There are so many places that don't get it, use cheap ingredients, etc. This establishment uses all the best ingredients and the food is excellent. Cafe on Calumet is a regular weekly stop for me. The owner Courtney is super nice and friendly. The other girls all call me by name and it feels like home. I tend to go here for breakfast and they always have so many great choices and weekly specials that you’ll never grow tired of their offerings. One of the things enjoy is their fresh fruit instead of the potatoes. Fresh kiwi, strawberries, blueberries- not some tired old half ripe watermelon and muskmelon the other places serve. They also have some fantastic lunch offerings as well. One of my favorites in the area!

Food was ok, nothing spectacular. The service on the other hand was absolutely horrendous. Only got one refill on our coffee in the hour we were there while the waitresses just stood at the counter waiting for food to come out. After our food came out our waitress only came back once to drop off the bill, not even ask how it was or if we wanted more coffee, I can assure you we did. Definitely won't be returning and will be spreading the word about my experience.

Really friendly wait staff and the food was perfect. My wife had eggs benedict and I had the meat lover's skillet. My son had a pecan waffle with banana and whipped cream. They serve Torke coffee which is always a bonus for me. I noticed they had mimosas and other cool drinks, which isn't really my style but I know a lot of local people really appreciate that. Great food if you haven't tried it I'd recommend it. The ingredients are fresh. The food is cooked to your liking. Skillet's ar a 9 out of 10 steak sandwich is a 6 out of 10 it's a little dry but good flavor. Waffle is big fluffy and filling it's an 8 out of 10. bacon is thick cut so it's a 9 out of 10.
Eggs Benedict are done just right I'd say an 8 out of 10 just because I like a little spicy so needs kyan pepper or something.
Stuffed French toast is a 9out of ten.
The staff is super friendly all and all this cafe is an 8 overall I went to culinary school and spent 15 years as a high end chef so I always leave a little room for improvement.

I ordered the 57 sandwich and it was delicious. It was warm and sweet. The fries were good but lacked salt. I couldn't finish both halves of the sandwich so I took it home. It was good the next day. I would recommend this sandwich and the restaurant. It was clean and comfortable. The servers were attentive and had nice smiley faces.

Incredible place! Stopped off for breakfast on our way back from Green Bay and so glad we did!!! Absolutely adorable inside, very welcoming, inviting, and cozy. People there so soooooo friendly!!!
