This place seemed really promising. Menu looks innovative and interesting. However, after trying several sandwiches, soups and salads, each was "off" vs what I had hoped it to be.

Of the three sandwiches I tried, all were soft, like what I'd expect in a nursing home. Soft bread, soft fillings, no crunch or texture contrast with any component. Scant protein. And the flavor? Fine. Not amazing, but not bad. Definitely under-seasoned.

The soups? All three tasted were grainy. Flavors were decent, but hard to take seriously with the poor texture.

And the salads were notably more flavorful than the soup or sandwiches, but every single one at the table had at least three times as much dressing vs what it ought to have, despite each person asking for light dressing.

Hard to say it's only the menu or execution that's flawed. All dishes were less than expected for varying reasons.

I love the food here and I've only ever had a mistake or two happen but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get something on time here during the day. Being busy around lunch is expected but my order of 1 soup is always at least 15 minutes behind what is estimated and isn't ready sometimes for 30 minutes after expected. When I've tried calling, no one picks up. Then when I can finally pick it up, I try to get someone's attention to grab my bag for me and I'll end up standing there for 5-10 minutes trying to get someone's attention. Again, great food, but it won't be on time and staff seems overwhelmed so help can be hard to get.

One of our (my wife and I) favorite "fast food" places. We love any chance to go to Cafe Zuppa when we are in the area. We ate inside for our first time on Monday and I was happily surprised how how nice the staff was and how good the mocktail drinks where. I definitely would recomend eating inside so you can get those free refills! Plus they got lime ans lemon wedges too!!

I absolutely love the food here, I'm never disappointed. This time I ordered pickup at the drive-thru. It wasn't ready when I got there (2 min early) and I needed to pick someone up from the hospital. When the girl at the window noticed I was not happy that I had to wait an extra 5 minutes (which normally wouldn't have been a big deal) she was so kind and rushed to get that order to me! Give that girl a raise! 🤑 And maybe mention to the staff to have pick up orders ready 5 minutes early. 🤷‍♀️

We had a salad and soup combination and dined in. The nuts about berries salad tasted good, but the lettuce was wilted. Also, they served it in a plastic bowl, which was worn and discolored. Poor visual presentation if not unsanitary. The vegetable chick pea soup was too salty, and the vegetables were undercooked. It was later in the day, so not many people were there, but the food counter showed the wear and tear of a busy day. There were a lot of employees standing around. If I were managing this place, I would make them get busy cleaning the place up. First and last experience. Will not return.

I used to come to this Cafe Zupas all the time, but I honestly don’t think I’ll be back. The manager is just flat-out rude, and it’s rubbed off on the rest of the staff too. It’s really disappointing because it didn’t used to be this way.

There are always a ton of workers behind the counter, but my order is still wrong more often than not. And if you try to pick up an in-store order through the drive-thru? Good luck—you're met with attitude for no reason.

It feels like the place is being micromanaged into the ground. The vibe is off, the service is bad, and no one seems to care. Management really needs to change if this place is going to improve. It’s a shame, because it used to be one of my go-tos.

Love the freshness and generally expedient staff. Occasionally they forget an item. If you need to call, it’s best to go thru the ordering process. Average a drive thru visit once per week with Take 2 deal.. Wish the online order process would allow an option to exclude utensils. I have hundreds and would prefer none. Due to the overall noise and oneness of the dining room, am waiting outdoor option rather than taking home.

Tremendous. The best meal I've had all week, (and I traveled 3,000 miles this week that's saying something) The food was fresh, I had the Korean protein bowl with lobster soup, fresh bread, chocolate covered strawberries, and enough vegetables that I'm convinced I'll never die, I'm gonna live forever. Avoid Ordering the Dubai Chocolate Cup Through the Drive-Thru!

I visited around 9 PM and placed my order through the app for drive-thru pickup. When I arrived, I was the only customer at the window. I watched as the staff poured the melted chocolate over cold strawberries first, then left the cup sitting for about five minutes before finally adding the pistachio paste. By that time, the chocolate had completely hardened over the strawberries, ruining the texture.

Paying $12 for a dessert is already steep, but having it prepared so poorly is unacceptable. Meanwhile, instead of serving the only customer there, five employees were busy cleaning the café ahead of closing at 10 PM.

Management needs to train their staff better—hot chocolate poured over cold fruit needs to be served immediately for the right experience. This was a complete waste of money.

Ordered here using DoorDash pickup. Went to the MOBILE ORDER PICKUP DRIVE TRHU WINDOW and was told by the guy there that i have to come inside to pickup my order. Rude workers always rush you along. They shut down the restaurant inside 2 hours before closing. Trying to eat the bland, pricey food while they are sliding metal chairs across the floor making unbearable noise echoing in the restaurant. Also they dump and waste all the fresh drinks way before they close, complete waste of product. Not going back. Kept trying, always some problem. Main issue rude, unfriendly workers who would rather dance and sing and talk then focus on customer satisfaction. We recently tried again, combos are now $18 dollars plus a small soda. Not worth the time or money. They now have set salads no custom salads. The amount you get for the price you pay is completely ridiculous. Sodas the syrups ran out, tell the workers they act like they have no idea what you're talking about. Just crazy right across the street you can get unlimited soup and salad for 12.99 with better quality and quality for the price. Very disappointed...and done.

I used to love Cafe Zupas. They had some great vegetarian options on the menu. I remember the delicious tofu sandwich that was unfortunately discontinued. Cafe Zupas then replaced the tofu sandwich with veggie “chicken” sandwich. This “chicken” sandwich was okay, not the greatest replacement to the original tofu sandwich. However, I visited over the weekend and they’ve now gotten rid of the veggie chicken sandwich as well. There’s one vegetarian sandwich option that has no appropriate protein source included. The family and I are disappointed with this progression. Would love to see Zala’s bring back those fan favorite vegetarian sandwiches.

I have been going for years now and just the other day I was on the way there and I went to place my order when to my horror I found they had removed the veggie chick’n sandwich. I pre ordered food online as I know the dining area can be busy at this time. I love Zuppa’s but today not so much. I sat in the drive thru window for a good 7 mins before anyone acknowledged I was there. I saw eyes peer my way since they had left the window open but nothing no “we will be right with you”. I was quite disappointed…got the new golden curry bowl however it was missing the wild rice and roasted cauliflower. Why Zuppas why? It was fine as is but for the amount of $$ I should feel satiated and I’m not.
