Solid pizza, didn't knock my socks off, but good enough for something different.

Pizza is extremely thin crust, very good, but light on sauce and rather small for the prices they're charging. It's basically a personal pizza for around 19-22$. Not competitive with local pizza joints, but as a treat, sure.

Lettuce wraps were excellent though, odd that they nailed those.

Bathrooms were clean, and had paper towels.

Came here with my family, hostess was very friendly. However we waited for 20 minutes and no one came to serve us, all the servers that passed us did not acknowledge us but they did serve the family that came right after us. We decided to leave after the 20 minutes of waiting. We will not be coming back.

The first thing I noticed about CPK is their location, while it's a little hard to find parking, it is worth it. Their outdoor seating area is cozy and comfortable.

The food is all good, the only issue I had with it was personal preference. Their Artichoke spinach dip was lovely and creamy, but I would have liked it with a little more artichoke flavor. Their pizza dough, is a little flat, sometimes borderline overcooked, but the taste is very good so it makes up for it. I loved their hummus sandwich, it was different with a cherry, black olive relish, but it actually paired quite nicely with their creamy hummus.

Food is always consistent, but some of the worst service staff around. There is never a sense of urgency, and always speak with a sigh in their tone and as if they don’t care. Will sit at my table every time for a minimum of 25 minutes before a server takes my order. They seem to be more focused on their side work sitting and chatting than taking care of paying guests. Sat and watched my server roll silverware and chat with coworkers for 15 minutes while we were still waiting just to have our order taken. With that being said the kitchen is always great, seem to get food out quick just takers servers forever to take it out of the window.

Okay - I need everybody to stop sleeping on this restaurant. This place is “what’s up” mid-morning, afternoon and evening. The food and service here are incredible. I mean we had Buffalo California bites, dynamite shrimp, Asian dumplings, tortilla egg rolls, potato and grilled chicken pizza, mushroom, sausage and pepperoni pizza, jambalaya, shrimp scampi zucchini and an ice cream sundae. Can you say “unbelievably tasty”? Oh and let’s not forget the bread and garlic flavored oil. Our waitress was sooo attentive. Y’all gotta go and enjoy what California Pizza Kitchen has to offer!

CPK has always been our favorite. Love the variety and the flavors.
Staff were really helpful and very attentive. I saw a huge improvement in the service. Food as always was great. Christina did a real good job with getting our orders quickly and also constantly checking on our experience. My 7 year old was very happy about the way she was treated on her birthday.

Enjoyed getting food here! Our server was great, food was delicious (you can split a pizza between 2-3 people, depending on how much someone eats), and it was a nice atmosphere!

My only suggestion is that it tends to be a bit chilly sitting by the windows during the winter. It was a holiday (New Year day) so there wasn't a host at the front, but someone got us seated quickly. I highly recommend getting an appetizer because it can take a while to make the pizza. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hostess station doesn’t stay manned, so it took a while to get someone to the front to seat me. There was fruit flies dive bombing my soup and landing on my plate of food. Knowing about fruit flies, I have to assume the kitchen is unclean or has rotting food. It’s an unpleasant way to eat. The food tasted fine. The salmon was a little dry, but I generally expect that. I had to send the waiter back twice to get clarification on what was in the succotash, and still the kitchen informed him wrong. They said tomatoes, but it was red peppers. I’m assuming they have a vegetable mix provided from the company that they heat up. Fortunately I don’t have any allergies where it’s important. I just wanted to know if there’s any sort of oil or butter. In any case, there’s no lima beans as generally characterizes succotash. In case you don’t like lima beans, no worries. I asked the waiter for more water, but no more ice. Honest mistake but I expected he’d bring a pitcher of water to refill the ice already in my cup. He brought a separate cup of water with no ice. I let him know of my assumption, and he tried to correct it by pouring the glass of water into my glass with the ice. Water all over the table. He got a towel to clean it up. Waiter really did try to accommodate all my requests, but he could use some experience and finesse. I can’t say I’ll never be back, but this experience was disappointing, mostly because of the bugs.

Lunch deals are very reasonable. Today,unlike other visits, the music was not background music but rather very loud. Hard to hear the people we were with. My friend mentioned it to the server who said she would tell the manager. It wasn't just the volume the choice of music was just bad.

It isn't anything g over the top. $20 for most 🍕 pizza. The apps are nice! We had the chicken dumplings and street corn. The portions are smaller. It seemed kinda expensive. My husband and I both had an appetizer. Our 3 kids each had a pizza. One child had a 7 inch cheese🧀. We all had waters. $70. The dumplings had way too many onions on it. The server was young.

Andrea was my server, it was my first time at cpk and I had the best experience!
She was very helpful the whole time recommending items from the menu, I really enjoyed the food and I saw that she would check up on her tables regularly (All tables including Non- Caucasian) I’m very satisfied with the staff and food!

The worst experience we ever had at any restaurant in the US. Out of all the places I never expected to be discriminated at CPK.

Below is our worst experience

To start with when we arrived there was never host/hostess to get us seated, so after waiting for 5 mins we seated ourselves at one of the tables

We had to wait another 10mins for someone to acknowledge us and come to our table,although she has visited our next table like 3 times in those 10 mins, noticed us each time but evidently ignoring us by not even looking at us.

She took our drink orders and come back after 10 mins with water and asking us for our order. Until this point we were not given a menu or silverware or paper napkins, which we asked her for. She gave us the menu and ran off. After a wait of another 10 mins she came back to take our order. We order s couple of pizzas and pasta for the kids.

The pizzas arrived after 10 mins and it was already cold, we didn't say anything because our kids were hungry and we had to ask her again for some silverware plates and napkins.

She gave us all these and just left without even asking if we needed anything else. The plates were dirty ( literally there was dried food on it ). We had to call her again and she got us another set of plates from the same stack and left. These were dirty as well and the waitress just ignored our table and was serving the same other table.  We had to call another waitress and let her know that the plates were dirty and this is the 2nd set of plates that we got. She took the plate and walked away without even telling us if she would get us new plates or anything. After waiting for another 10 mins , while  our kids were waiting to eat , I had to walk to the bar and let the person know that we wanted to talk to the manager.

After 5 mins the manager arrives with plates and he literally shouts at us asking  " what is your problem, we are washing the plates  insidebecuase you ask d us for clean plates ". It sounded as if we were supposed to eat in those dirty plates and should not ask for clean ones.   Nobody even informed us that someone was working on getting us clean plates. He was not even apologetic that the plates were dirty in the first place.  We said we have been here for 20 mins waiting for plates after the food arrived and he says "we have only 2 staff and you asked for clean plates so we are getting it cleaned can't you wait "

When we asked him if we were supposed to eat dirty plates , he goes ballistic on us saying " you don't have to pay for the food I will check you out right now ".

We said we don't need your free food , and we asked him to charge our card and be respectful to your customers.

We couldn't leave since our kids were hungry we just wanted to eat and get out.

We were completely ignored by the waitress, and when we asked for some water she ran to the owner and then this guy barged in again and said " why are YOU PEOPLE still here I have checked you out don't harass my staff "

You people are not welcome here.

Right from the time we entered till we left our waitress went to the next table 12 times which only had 2 Caucasian people. While the restaurant says they are understaffed to even give us water or menu or some clean plates.

If you don't have staff then either keep it closed or say  so when we enter.  If you don't serve non-caucasian then better have that written on the door so we don't enter

After this ordeal our kids are now scared to go to any restaurant

The superlative horrible staff at this location. My toddlers are scared and terrified to go to the restaurant after being to this place with the rudest of rude staff. We were ignored to the core from the beginning which we thought could be a human error. We were not given the menu cards, we waited patiently be it for the water, for the menu cards, for the silverware, for the napkins for the change of dirty plates (twice). This person Andrea (our waitress) was least bothered to check on our table, whereas she went to other table more than 3-4 times in the span of 10 mins. Another person named Jamie who happened to be our cashier was the super rude human. I wonder how he qualified to be the host! His choice of words towards the guest was very horrible. He literally used these words to us "I don't care, I have checked guys out" and "I don't know why you are still sitting and eating here even after I gave you a complimentary checkout." This guy, Jamie, did not feel sorry for us for having received the dirty, food stuck plates from his coworker Andrea. In turn, he blamed us saying we were harassing his coworker, because we asked for change of plates and more water. This experience has shaken my toddlers and spoilt their spring break vacation mood. Today they are super scared to enter any restaurant. I wish I could sue you Mr. Jamie! I will never recommend this horrible restaurant.

Our spinach artichoke dip and Mexican rice were splendid. We have ordered the veggie pizza in the past and were quite pleased. We tried the Tostado pizza without meat expecting the black beans to be intact. My husband wasn't pleased as the beans appear more as if they were refried. However, I don't fault California Pizza because we should have ordered our usual as vegetarians. For that reason, I increased my overall rating from a 4 to a 5.

Placed order in restaurant for a pasta dish one I’ve ordered before and enjoyed. The pasta was underdone to the point of getting stuck in my teeth. The result was not eating my dish. Our server questioned if everything was alright ? I explained that the pasta was underdone which the server told the manager and in turn told our server to tell us that they cook their pasta Al dente and that is how it is. Noone around to greet or seat. I wandered around for what felt like a long time trying to get attention. Considered leaving but eventually walked into the dining area for someone to notice me. From there service was below average in friendliness and attentiveness and I really didn't think the food was very good, i probably should have rated food a 3. I felt like it took a long time for what it was and relatively expensive for the quality. Didn't seem like a happy place if that isn't too silly sounding. Reviews are subjective, but I wouldn't return. Business asked for more information so I edited review beyond my initial and probably unhelpful, "meh". This place is not the same as it used to be. My family has allergy issues and they were very accommodating in handling that. John the previous manager would do all he can to help. Then after dropping off our beverages, our server asked if we wanted bread- we said yes. It took another 15min to flag her down because she had forgotten. She then mentioned that our food was ready anyways.

Our daughter got the crispy chicken w/side fruit and it was 4 small pieces of breaded chicken with 2 thinly strawberries and 1/4 of a pineapple sliced. Such a ripoff for $7.29 and our daughter was obviously still hungry after that point.

Would not come here again unless they create a better system for engaging their customers seated on the patio.

Been here a few times for lunch with my mom and brother and the food was good and both of my servers I had the last few times I’ve went were very polite and friendly. I enjoy coming here for lunch because the food is delicious and the service is always good. I try to get lunch when I visit Bayshore because I like their pizza and their combos are great for variety and to try new things.

I was doing a delivery order i came in the restaurant asked where do I pick the order up I went to the pick up and the manager ask me did I have a warmer bag and I told him no I don’t I work for Uber eats they don’t give them to us… he go to say well I’m not giving you if you don’t have one… then gone say I’ll do it this time but if you don’t have one next time I won’t be giving you the order because it’s hot outside and your delivery a $300 catering order and I’ll have to pay for the food it’s it get damaged or whatever… that’s not the end of it so as he finish packing the order up he continues to say he wouldn’t go through Uber eats and just kept talking about the bag situation and how doordash and grubhub do this and that…He’s very unprofessional and he could’ve handle this situation better cause I can’t control what order is being sent to me….my worst experience and I thought about coming there as i walked in the restaurant but I won’t due to his unprofessionalism

I’ve had their pizzas frozen from the store and they were smackin and me and my girlfriend we’re in the area and stopped here for lunch and it was phenomenal. Had the street corn and dumplings, and the lunch sicilian pizza with baja salad. I recommend all dishes to anyone they were very fresh tasting. Also enjoyed the mocktail menu. We will come back soon 🤩

We picked up take out last night and our pizza was great. However; I ordered a Cob salad with chicken and shrimp. I didn't get the shrimp and the salad didn't have the dressing. When I called last night to see if they could refund me for the shrimp (it was an additional 5.25!) they hung up on me. Not sure if we will go back. Horrible service but the food we did get was decent.

One of my go to items I eat here are the SPICY BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER; yes I had to yell it because they’re just that freaking good!!! They’re flavorful with the right amount of spice. You can eat them as an appetizer or main dish. Customer service is always great when I visit even when they’re short staffed. Staff are friendly and you rarely see one without a smile on their face. The restaurant is located on the perfect spot if you want to grab a bite and shop a little as well. I usually swing by before or after my biweekly trip to Trader Joe’s.
