My friend and I came to Cambridge for a restful weekend away and found our way to Cambridge Market for coffee and breakfast. I got a classic breakfast sandwich and added cream cheese. The cream cheese took the sandwich from a 9/10 to a 10/10 and truly was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. My friend got the breakfast burrito and she enjoyed it. We both got nitro cold brew that were tasty as well. Lastly, while in Cambridge, we noticed lack of a welcoming and kind community. For the most part, every interaction we had during our stay in Cambridge was cold and made us feel unwelcomed. It felt awkward to say the least! While at Cambridge Market we experienced kindness and a welcoming environment- the best we have been treated since staying here. Our experience with the employees of Cambridge Market gave us hope for the rest of the town and our visit. You all are what lights Cambridge up!!

Beautiful food and wonderful staff. Christian atmosphere/decor. Cozy eat-around-the-hearth vibes. Today I had both the soup and the sandwich specials. Adding in a specialty canned drink my lunch totaled $20. I took half the sandwich home and ate it later. The quality of ingredients was excellent and the flavors were amazing. I've been going to Cambridge Market for the last 3 years and they have always had the most fun events, are family friendly and great food! I have Celiacs. My friend and I stopped there for lunch because they have gluten free bread. I had the Italian beef sandwich and my friend who doesn't have any dietary issues had a turkey cheddar sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals We inquired about the soups and the staff is very knowledgeable as to what soups were gluten-free. I had just one week's notice to host my dad's Celebration of Life when he passed away. Quaint atmosphere with cherry wait staff and great food. I had the bacon turkey sandwich and my wife had the Chicken Salad on a croissant and the ham and potatoes soup. Both were amazing. To wash it down we had banana strawberry smoothies which hit the spot. The smoothies hit the spot so much that we decided to forgo the desserts and ice cream. It was nice to have fresh free ice water available as well as an option. All in all I would go back there again when in the area. Recommend a stop here for all the pottery/art shoppers during the spring and fall sales. It is a nice break.

A true gem! The staff are amazing, engaging, and welcoming. It feels like going over to a friend or aunties house for a bite to eat and a visit, and we’ve made a tradition of shopping the attached little store for Wisconsin-made/based treats for friends and family for the holidays. They also do a great job of updating their socials regularly for specials on soups and sandwiches (which we have yet to try one we didn’t love). They also do really tasty and creative lotus drinks on a very-seasonal basis which we love!

We came 30 plus minutes before the restaurant closed. We asked if we were too late to order. There were three staff members but one made us feel like we were putting them out. They said that they were closing in 15 minutes. We said we could come another time multiple times but they said no problem just order. They said the grill was closed after I asked about what they had for specials. I asked about the soup but was told that it was shut off. We honestly didn't want to make them go out of their way. They just said order and we did. We chose to eat outside. The food was good. Small portions for the price. After we ate they asked how it was and we told them that the one of the items was plain. They told us that how people liked it. We want to try this place again because the person may just have been having a bad day.

Went for salads, which were quite good. Courteous staff. The market itself was quaint. I was surprised how quickly our food and beverages arrived. Extremely efficient given it was very busy. Seating was a little awkward when I visited. There were 2 tables remaining one for 6 people and the other for 2 near a window. The table for 2 was very close to another 6 top, I did not want to seem intrusive, so I elected to sit at the with my daughter at the larger table. This was in the lower seating area. Perhaps rearrange a little to 3 -4 top table? Very ejoyable, good atmosphere. I would visit again if in the area.

I’m leaving this review to proclaim that I LOVE their Sunday hours and service. At present, they remain open on Sundays, which is when I enjoy hiking the nearby CamRock trails followed by drinks and sweet treats at the Cafe. In addition they sell the Island Orchard Apple LAVENDER Cider handcrafted in Door County, WI. There are so many in the service industry having trouble staffing, let along staffing on a Sunday. The Cambridge Market is the epitome of the meaning of a “local business!” There are so many things to love, but the heart behind what Cathy does is service and community first and it shows SO clearly. She puts her heart and soul into being a hub for the city of Cambridge, between her weekly sandwich specials, bringing in out of town food trucks, inviting small business owners in to collaborate, and so much more. This little cafe in Cambridge has an excellent atmosphere, inside and out. There is ample comfy space inside, well appointed and cozy, as well as a small patio for outside dining. We were a little disappointed in the food portions for our breakfast. Note- we were very hungry! I had the roasted veggie bowl, which was heavy on the spinach, but still tasty. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito, which came with a side. The burrito seemed small for the price. The menu selection is superior, so be sure to check this place out if you visit Cambridge.

We sat I the indoor dining area in the morning which was fine: bright with plenty of room. The shady outdoor eating area looked great, too. There is another area inside with lounge chairs that look very comfortable. I didn't get to see the whole thing.

6/5 (lunch): I ordered a BLT, chips and a root beer. I waited and waited, then went to the window when I was told the order was messed up and they were making my sandwich now. The staff never notified me until I asked. The BLT was tasty but skimped on ingredients.

6/16 (lunch): I ordered a chicken salad sandwich (that comes on a croissant), mushroom soup, chips and a root beer. They were out of croissants, so they offered sourdough bread. The chicken salad was tasty, with lettuce and tomato. But (can you believe it?) the chef actually put the tomato top skin (the part you would normally throw away) in my sandwich, not a slice from the middle of the tomato. The soup tasted good, too, but was thin, wasn't hot and there were no large pieces of mushroom (puréed).
