5 stars isn’t enough! This is the best BBQ & Soul Food on the planet! Everything is fresh and homemade. Meats are smoked to perfection, the collared greens, the best I’ve ever had, the hush puppies, so good! This is the kind of meal that can truly lift your spirits and make you say AMEN when it’s over. If everyone could eat this good, the world’s problems might just melt away, just like that jerk chicken and catfish melted in my mouth. The owners and staff are very friendly as well. I’m so happy they are willing to cook their generational family recipes for all to enjoy. I will tell everyone I know to eat here.

We have been here twice. Great place to go for BBQ meats! The brisket and pulled pork are the best in the area. We also had the cowboy beans, smoked Mac, and hush puppies. All were delicious as well. We plan on going back many more times.

The food was good. They ran out of rib tips, which I really wanted to try. The jerk chicken could have been a little spicier. Kids weren't a fan of the garlic fries.

What an incredible resource for food! I had the Rib Tips and they were smoked to perfection. The garlic fries as a side were delicious! My hubby had the Pulled Jerk Chicken and that was incredibly tender and DELICIOUS! The Cowboy beans were also delicious! The folks could have interacted a tinch more with us, but overall it was FANTASTIC and I can't wait to go back!

There was a group of 4 of us. We spent about $149.00 for the 4 of us but we got 6 dinner. Anyway, the food was excellent.The ribs were a little tough but being somebody that cooks, I could tell if we would have eaten them a little later in the day they would of been fabulous. Do not like fish at all. But I tried the catfish and it was excellent, it reminded me of eating fish down south. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to our group. I definitely feel like it is worth the trip. Is catfish, jerked chicken, ribs, brisket, pull pork, rib bits, fried okra, mac&cheese collar greens, corn bread, is cowboy beans. Was everything our group got. Best dam collar green i have ever had. Just saying. GOODLUCK i hope you make it.

Went for my first time today and I’ll be back as soon as possible. We had two platters full of options and honestly, every single side and main was perfection. I’ve been down south for bbq and i really haven’t had anything this good. 10/10. The best. Thank you all!

We came from Bourbonnais Illinois to visit friends for the weekend and was told to dine here. We both got the Brisket, Macaroni and Cheese with Potatoe salad. The Brisket was tinder and both sides delicious. We will definitely recommend and will return.

It's a unique little atmosphere because it's in an old saw mill that has other stores in it. The food was phenomenal. The only complaint that I have were the ribs. I think they could have had more seasoning on them, a little bit more meat. They are priced fairly reasonable for barbecue. If you go there and if you really like flavorful stuff try the shredded jerk chicken or the brisket, with their Cowboy BBQ beans and smoked mac and cheese I am not a big fan of catfish however their catfish does not have that fishy taste. I would go again and we came from fond du lac. Here is an idea for the owners possibly. 5% off the meal for a review or a free side. Make it worth the while. Just an idea. Happy growing

Ok people. If you haven't gotten C.J's BBQ & Soul Food Catering yet, you are MISSING OUT! This is hands down some of the best food I've ever had. My very picky 15 year old ate every bite including his leftovers of pulled pork & Mac n cheese.

Found this place by accident. THE BEST catfish, collards and Mac n cheese that I've had in YEARS. Run - don't walk - here to try this fantastic food. This is homemade with passion and you get your food served hot. Lovely family who own and work at this restaurant. Located at The Market in Watertown. Take out very limited in person dining. Customer for life!!

Mama and I finally met Jeremy and got a chance to ask how long he’s been in business. I love when we can connect the why behind your business.

We ordered the St. Louis ribs with smoked mac and cheese, friend okra, collard greens, and cornbread.

Everything tasted delicious and my taste buds felt comforted like I was at a family reunion.

Black owned, faith based, and good food you can’t go wrong. It took about an hour for us to visit but it was worth it.

Heard about this on the Lebanon FB Page. This gem is hidden in a unique little mall setting. You enjoy artwork of a local artist doing art of Watertown. Once you find this niche, the aroma lures you in... Is nice but a very basic establishment. Staff is perhaps mostly family, and very friendly. Very helpful in the selection. Menu is just right. Many options, but not excessive. Now. Let's get to the meat of this review... THE BRISKET IS NEXT TO AMAZING. CATFISH LIKE YOU NEVER TASTED CATFISH IN YOUR LIFE. The Cowboy smokey beans, with a barbecue meaty broth. Oh yeah. This is with the trip. I was 70 miles away and took the moment. Honestly, it's 18 hours after enjoying the meal and my mouth is watering for more. Seriously, check out this hidden gem. It's a restaurant worth the stop and the trip. Enjoy!

The food at the place is so good you just have to go and try it to understand. If you grew up in the south and are needing a “southern home cooked meal” or have a taste for real southern cooking, this place is it! Forget driving anywhere out of town. Those other places will never compare to the flavor and consistency at CJ’s.

Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had in my 26 years. I paired mine with the mango habanero hot sauce (they have other options but I believe I made the best choice;) presentation and portion was spot on and made for a great and fulfilling experience and meal.

Today was my husband and I's first time trying this place, and let me tell you, this is some of THE BEST bbq we have ever had!! I found C & J at a Dueling Pianos event in Watertown. The food was great and the guy (Dean) running the show with C&J was so helpful and patient with all of my questions about catering. I had them help with my son's graduation party and the service was outstanding. Jeremie's customer service was also excellent - I can't say enough good things about C&J.
