We ordered pizza delivery tonight and everything was fantastic! The order arrived right on time and the driver was super friendly. The pizza had the perfect balance of crispy crust, fresh toppings and a nice tomato sauce — you can really taste the quality ingredients. My husband also ordered a side of chicken tenders with french fries and he loved them....and he is super picky about his chicken!🐔

When I came in to dine in, I ordered ahead using the online menu as we were in a rush to have a quick dine in meal and get home. The pizza wasn't started until we got there and took about 30 minutes to arrive. The owner had never given us a menu when we sat down. When we received the bill, there was no itemization. I had referenced the prices online from the website and the owner stated that the prices were from 2008 and so didn't reflect current prices. The breakdown of costs didn't make sense to me even after I discussed it with the owner. He asked if he should provide discounts to me after explaining it and I felt awkward to be in that position as a customer. There should be a clear menu available to customers with current prices both in store and online and the final bill should be itemized explaining all charges. I believe we were also charged for garlic strips even though we had referenced the coupon online for free garlic strips. The pizza didn't seem as good as a few years ago. The inside of the restaurant also had dirty lounge seating and the floors didn't seem to clean. The owner and the cook doubled as wait staff. We had pleasant conversation and their demeanor was friendly. This is a historic place and I believe the reputation it has should carry with it the basic experience of cost transparency and cleanliness for a restaurant that has been around so long and has become a tourist destination for many visiting Milwaukee.

Meeting the owner, Wally, was reason enough to come. He's a glowing example of everything that makes the Midwest great - warm, good humored, and incredibly hard working. If there's a Milwaukee welcoming committee - Wally should be a member of it.

Beyond the beam of light that is Wally, the food was really fantastic. Delicious cracker crust pizza cooked to perfection with balanced and slightly sweet sauce. Everything had perfect ratios and there was immense care put into everything they served.

Grab a cold can of Schlitz and you've got a perfect evening with friends, family, and the amazing folks who own and operate the restaurant. Can't recommend it enough.

First time ordering,, had heard about it for years! Long time Waukesha county resident that moved back to the city. The owner was at the counter and couldnt have been nicer, also a guy came from the kitchen and also thanked me for the business. I ordered a 14” classic pizza and the french fried mushrooms. We found this place on accident and are happy we did! We intended on going to Balistreri's for pizza only to discover they are closed Tuesdays. It has a hole in the wall feel. The owner was very friendly and hospitable and the pizza was fantastic. I have to believe the pizza is the same recipe as Balistreri's as it was almost indistinguishable (an article we read confirmed Jim Balistreri had worked for Caradaro before starting his own business).

The only negative thing I can say is the menus we were handed at the table (and what is shown on the website) did not have current/accurate prices. When I walked up to the counter to pay there was a menu taped to the counter with the prices crossed out and a higher amount written next to each. We paid roughly $30 for an 18" cheese pizza, half pepperoni, an order of cheesy garlic bread (also amazing), and a drink. With the price of eating out at nearly any other restaurant with a family of four, I still feel like this was a bargain, especially compared to Balistreri's.

I ate there 2 Fridays ago. We ordered 1 pizza that after the takeout orders were done we received our pizza. It came out burnt around the edges and the owner asked us if we wanted another one but by that time I was ready to just eat and go.
I wasn't asked how the pizza was, nor if I'd like water until way late into the dinner. I was given a Pabst beer but thought it was on the house for the burnt pizza and poor service. He put it on the bill but said he adjusted the bill because of the burnt pizza. I can get $1.99 pizza slice at Costco and it is just as good. I don't care for the service nor pizza here. I'd avoid here.

Stopped in a few minutes after opening at 4:00 p.m. the phone was ringing off the hook. I ordered a large cheese sausage black olive, onion pizza and crispy garlic bread sticks. The pizza was thin and crispy and the toppings were delicious. It's big enough to feed at least 4 people. The garlic bread sticks were the pizza dough fried and we're so light and crispy and had the right amount of garlic. I spoke with the gentleman who took my order and he told me that this was the original recipe since 1945. This is an excellent representation of a great thin crust pizza. Get some!

By far in the top 3 pizza places I have had in Milwaukee. The crust was perfectly crisp throughout and didn't have any sogginess in the middle. The pizza was perfectly seasoned. We were going to only eat half of the pizza and ended up eating the whole thing in one sitting because it was so good!

I can't comment on the atmosphere of the restaurant since we got take out, but our pizza was ready right on time when we expected it to be.

We wondered a little when we walked in at 6pm and were the only ones there. But the pizza was super delicious as was our garlic bread and cheesy bread apps. We got IBC root beers and a High Life as well. We had two 18" pizzas and two apps and 4 drinks for 5 adults and 3 kids, and we had some pizza leftover. Came to $77, so I think the prices were a little higher than the menu listed, but still reasonable.

Service was very nice guy, didn't check on us super often but I think he was also helping cook. A couple other tables eventually came in as well.

The decor hadn't been updated or anything but it was quaint. They had an A grade for sanitation from MKE County health on the door.

You want a snapshot of what it’s like to grow up in Milwaukee, this is it! I remember when I was growing up, restaurant owners would often give special attention to the kids, special treats, little toys, etc. it’s hard to find that kind of care, but Cardaro’s provides that type of service. If you eat there, plan on having Gary (front of house) sit down and share stories with you, he’s the best! This place cares so much about making their customers comfortable.

Then the pizza came… it was awesome. We did half green peppers/tomatoes and half The Special. Everything about it was delicious and you can tell Wally (the owner) takes such pride in making his pies… he even takes pictures of his best work. Why is Caradaro Club Pizza Milwaukee the best in the USA? There's this fight between NYC pizza and Chicago pizza. I get it. New York City pizza has an ingenious chemistry of flavor. Fold it in half and walk down the street and you are John Travolta in 1977. It's Awesome. Chicago deep dish is a pot pie of Italian flavor scoop after scoop! Yum! Don't choke on that crust! Pizza lived up to everything I want in a thin crust pizza. Crust was ultra thin, but crispy with bubble pockets. Sauce was sweet and delicious. The rest of the ingredients were decent. I absolutely love the pizza, this place is a hidden gem! The customer service has always been good as well. I just please ask that you update the website. The medium Classic pizza coupon for Wed. and Thurs., is no longer available. But the most shocking was the $12.99, 12in Classic that's listed on the website is actually over $20 when not using cash. I realize the cost of everything has gone up but that's a really big jump so it needs to be updated on the website so customers won't be so shocked or disappointed. I hate to do this but very disappointing. Had high expectations looked great but overall the pizza wasn't cooked long enough and on top of that I believe I've been Overcharged. Guy who took my order on the phone took way too long adding up my total and when he finally said $23.42 it didn't sound right. Really good thin crust, crispy even in the middle. Ordered a large veg. The sauce is full of flavors, but not overwhelming. Everything was very fresh and you could taste each ingredient.
I'm a big fan of Balistreri's, Pizzeria Piccola, Maria's, Pizza Shuttle and Wells Brothers. This is unique to all of them, but close to PizzPicc, though the dough not as chewy.

Best thin crust around! Worth any wait on a busy night. I didn’t catch his name, but the nicest man even offered to carry my pizzas to the car across the street, thank you! The mozzarella sticks are wonton wrapped topped with Parmesan cheese & spices, SO good. 10/10 recommend & be nice to the pizza dude.. or no pizza for you!

Food was good, but I ended up paying a lot more than I thought. Their menu hasn't been updated in the last 3 years and they decide to tell us this when our bill comes. Notify us beforehand. Sales ticket was almost $15 higher (based on 3 items) then menu price which was given to us to order from with old out dated prices. I wouldn't mine if I was informed but we found this out when waiter brought our credit card receipt after charging it.

They lay claim to the "oldest pizzeria in Milwaukee" & I can see why they've been around so long. Excellent crisp cracker style crust, great sauce and cheese seasoned just right. Perfect local joint for real pizza, not hipster artisanal crud. Just legitimate upper Midwest old school pies. Looking forward to coming back again.

How do you advertise delivery but you never answer the phone? Had this pizza once and I thought it was good. Not answering the phone is very unprofessional and for this reason I’ll probably never get it again. Get it together or don’t. Probably end up closed like the other location.

I was recommended this place by a colleague who described it as "the best pizza in Milwaukee." That's high praise and needs to be investigated, as I live on Brady and frequent Zaffiro's, but I think I love Balestreri's the most. So this place had to impress, and it did! I don't know what really sets it apart other than it is just flat out delicious. I think if I had to single out one amazing aspect it would be the cracker thin crust cooked to a crisp. It's a wonderful pizza. Go here. And get the free garlic bread or mozz sticks.

This used to be my favorite pizza place but they don't even answer the phone. I know West Allis is closed but Vilet Street doesn't pick up the phone with a recorded voice saying the mailbox is full. I wonder if this location is closed too. What a shame.

The food was really good. (sausage pizza and chicken tenders) would just recommend that they get a bell or something on the door so they can hear when customers walk in so the customers wouldn't catch the cook in the kitchen smoking a cigarette like I did today. Thankfully my food was already packed up. Most definitely a first and last time experience.

The best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve had Mama Mia’s, Balistreri’s, Wells Brothers, Cranky Pats, and Zaffiros. I tried to find something wrong with the pizza but I just couldn’t. The crust is perfect, the sauce is perfect, all the ingredients on the pizza were perfect. Will definitely come back to this place.

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Milwaukee for his birthday. I’ve never been to town and was excited to explore! We enjoyed so many beautiful places and foods, 1 of which was Caradaro. We were next door at O Riley’s pub in hopes of getting some delicious Irish cuisine but when we arrived we were informed the kitchen was closed. So we looked up near by pizza and turns out this place was next door. I called and was lucky enough to speak to the owner. He informed me they were slammed and his estimated time for food was about 2 hours. When I told him we wouldn’t be able to wait that long he worked with me to get us a pizza and garlic cheese bread in under 20 min. He was very kind and made the perfect ending to our weekend get away. Although we don’t watch much basketball in STL, we were thrilled to eat the delicious pizza while watching the Bucks beat the Suns!

My biggest complaint was being overcharged. I didn't realize it until after I had gotten home with the pizza. It was only supposed to be $15 for my large cheese pizza, but they charged me $21.
The pizza itself was average thin crust pizza. Nothing special. Glad I didn't eat at the restaurant. It was a total dump inside.
If you're doing to do it, take it out and check the price before you leave!

My parents used to take me and my little brother to the original Caradaro Club on Buffalo and Erie after they closed their own restaurant for the night. They used to have one of those bowling machines with the metal puck that would keep us kids entertained while our pizza waa being made. I thought this place was gone forever after the fire burned the old place to the ground, but happened to Google "pizza delivery near me" and the Caradaro Club popped up in my top results! Yay!! And they're less than half a mile from my home!! My pizza tasted just like I remembered and the mozzarella marinara was delicious. This is THE original, first pizza served in Milwaukee and the best in town. Highly recommend!
