I've been searching everywhere for good mexican food since moving out here from southern California and I finally found it here! The vegetarian options are to die for, especially the fried avocado taco. I live 30 minutes north of this spot but it's worth it. Better than any of the Milwaukee places we've tried thus far. The only thing off putting was the hyper Christian music playing the entire time we were eating which caused the atmosphere to be less than pleasant (at least for us, depends on who you are of course lol). We will just be taking it to go in the future.

I got some food from doordash and I will say that if you want delicious Mexican food this is not the place to go. The meat was incredibly dry. The salsa was flavorless. The horchata is made from a mix and tasted very processed. The rice tasted strongly of garlic. The only positive thing was that the chorizo was moist, but it was also very greasy. I got three different meats in my taco combo. I'm glad that I didn't just stick with one because I would have been very disappointed.

Well to say a first impression went completely left would be an understatement. Staff was friendly and polite but the food was very lackluster to say the least. For a heads up their walking tacos are the only ones I’ve ever had to not come with cheese on it. Also the sitting horchata seemed very thick so I would be careful not providing them fresh like most other establishments in the city do. In conclusion the tres de leche was the best thing I ordered despite the price point of $6 for a little slice. Overall 4/10 probably would not spend my own money again

Most awful awful place and experience. I came with $10 cash and didn't have a wallet, ordered a burrito combo and it was $13 ish. Tried paying extra on apple pay to which they are equipped. However the confused front cashier lady said can't do that . Ok then no combo just a burrito ... no I can't do that ! Ok, you can't sell me a burrito ? Nope !

The food is great, but the staff is very rude. Both times I went in, the person at the front was extremely rude and unhelpful. They forgot half my order one time and the girl kept trying to say I had my full order even though I had the receipt. The second time I went in 30 minutes before close and the lady yelled at me to get out as they are no longer taking orders. Which is fine, but she could've just educated me without yelling.

I had an al pastor torta combo, chips and guacamole and an horchata. I’ve seen a few comments about salt content in the food, but i didn’t find it any more salty than other Mexican food. Menu is small, which I like because you don’t spend a lot of time trying to figure out what to eat. Restaurant was small, but cute and clean. I liked the modern decor. I’ll definitely be going back.

Nothing special. The beans 3 stars, the rice 1 star. The tacos pretty mid not a lot of flavor. The “hot salsa” wasn’t even mild. The meat texture seems like a good quality but taste like there is no seasoning. You get right down to it. They are charging premium prices for sub quality food. Spanish rice should be made fresh every day. This rice is not made fresh. I’ve had homemade beans from Wisconsin all the way to the bottom of Mexico. These weren’t the best but wasn’t bad either. Good beans are not easy to make and i liked these. I wish the rice matched it. The real kicker is the salsa. Pretty disappointing for the money.

I ordered a simple meal from DoorDash a burrito with a side of rice and beans and two Horchatas. I called to let them know that the Horchata taste like water. There was no flavor at all. This was at 8:37 PM.On 3/19 . The lady that answered, was absolutely rude, and basically told me she couldn’t help me with my issue. I told her I didn’t have a vehicle that I could not bring the product back the following day and she told me while it will be nasty by then so I let her know that it was already nasty and there was no flavor. She got really nasty and told me she hadn’t tasted it and it wasn’t her that made it so she don’t know what to tell me . Never again , my first time trying them and very disappointed.

This establishment is very clean and has a modern minimalist interior. Expect to be greeted and addressed in a timely manner. Overall, the portions appear standard compared to other Mexican restaurant competitors so I was a little confused in what was described from previous reviews I read. The takeout platter was also sorted nicely and the packaging was very secure. Rice and beans tasted pleasant and honestly were similar if not better than what I’ve had elsewhere. Slight concerns I did have were in relation to the steak torta I had, while it was assembled well and the breading itself was toasted/buttered it seems the meat itself was a little over seasoned. However still tasty, especially with the mild salsa in which you can really taste the tomatillos. It doesn’t appear the standard light green however, but this could probably be as a result from a lack of cilantro. Another minor observation is in regard to the agua de tamarindo. While very refreshing, it could use an adjustment in the water to flavoring ratio. Once addressed I’m sure the taste could be near perfect. Personally I’d say, I’d rather order from here than from other Mexican restaurants. I plan on returning and trying the rest of the menu eventually.

Don't blink you'll miss it. Small place tucked between a tanning salon and wing stop. We ordered take out. The staff was super friendly. Had too many bags to make one trip so the staff helped me carry the bags to my car! The food was different then what we are used to. Not a bad thing by any means. I'm assuming that their food is more authentic then what we are used to. The menu is on the smaller side but I'd rather have a smaller selection with high quality food over the alternative. Our order was spot on and the food was really good. Prices seem fair.

Ordered three Carne Asada tacos combo and chicken torta combo as they come. No extras. Read the other reviews, the tacos are extremely small, but they didn’t taste bad. The beef was a little crispy and not greasy like everybody says. The torta lacked flavor until you put the salsa on. You couldn’t even really tell there was chicken on there. The rice and beans were both kind of bland but not unpleasant. For over $30 we feel like we didn’t really get a great deal and probably won’t be back, which is a shame because we were really hoping to be a great place.

I got the taco combo (3 steak tacos, rice, beans, horchata).

The horchata is too sweet for my taste and couldn’t have more than two sips. Most likely will get a coke/sprite next time.

The rice tasted homemade but had large dark chunks in the bottom of the container.

The refried beans I liked but they were a bit soupy and needed salt.

The tacos tasted authentic but were a bit dry.
I would return but just for the tacos since there aren’t a lot of options near by.

Next time I would just get tacos and a soft drink.

Recently ordered food & asked for no onions, no beans & received both on the order. Also ordered flan & that was left out of the order. Portions are very small, they charge .75 for cheese or sour cream & put very little on. Very pricey for what you're getting. They were good about replacing the items that were wrong or missing, but had to go back & pick it up. Probably won't be back unless they change their pricing or serving sizes. When ordering a meal, it says it comes with rice & beans, but apparently that is ON the burrito, not on the side...... I had the Tinga & thought it tasted pretty good. The steak didn't have a lot of flavor though.

I’m a huge fan of Mexican food so as soon as this place opened I had to go try for myself. The inside is very quaint and not really decorated like a typical Mexican place. The prices for the quantity of food you get are not really worth it. We ordered a few different tacos to try. The steak had no seasoning, extremely fatty and had a horrible aftertase. The Al pastor was the same. The barilla had some flavor but it was also mediocre at best. The shells were soggy and crunchy at the same time with a texture that’s hard to explain. The beans and rice were less than desirable. The rice was a soggy much almost like chunky mashed potatoes and the beans would’ve been better out of a can to be frank. The portions are extremely small for almost $4 a taco. Overall it was probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I hope it gets better but I’ll never be back to find out for myself to be honest. I wanted so bad for this place to be good since I hate driving clear to the other side of town for good Mexican. Wish I had something positive to say about the food but unfortunately I don’t. The only positive is the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.

I ordered my meal for pick up via GrubHub. My order was supposed to be ready in about 15 minutes. I give it some extra time and arrived 30 minutes later. They couldn't find the order until she pulled a tablet from under the counter and told me the order just came in. I looked at the tablet and pointed it it actually came in 30 minutes ago. She said it'd be another 10 minutes. I come back in 15 and was told it'd be another 15. I wait another 20 and go inside. The other still wasn't ready. I ended up waiting for another 30 minutes. No apology or anything.

The woman at the counter was pleasant but she kept giving people times that they obviously couldn't adhere to. Itd go a long way to acknowledge that people are waiting a long time. A simple sorry when the fault is yours doesn't take much.

Brand new, just opened yesterday. Small take out window with several small 2 person tables and a table up against the window. Clean interior, friendly service, reasonable prices.

Tacos are small but good. We tried steak, ground beef, and shrimp tacos. We also ordered guac and chips. Food was ready in a reasonable amount of time even though it was busy. Their hot sauces were good too.

It’s a nice addition to this side of town. We will definitely be back and try other items.
