I ordered a steak burrito to go, what I got was some very bland slimy mess wrapped in a tortilla. There are far more beans than meat. The meat that was on there was extremely tough and dry… to top it all off, it’s 17$ out the door. The guy that took my order and gave me my food was nice though! Looked like a pretty decent restaurant as well with an outdoor seating area.

Really good place! Tried for the first time the other day. I ordered carry out but it seemed clean inside, the ladies at the counter were very polite and my order was 100% accurate. Typical Mexican menu with a few different spins on entrees. I really enjoyed the shrimp fajita quesadilla, but the chips and salsa were slightly disappointing because of the salsa being bland. I asked for salsa verde to get something with more kick but the waiter offered their house sauce which was like going from 0 to 100 in heat. Not what I was asking for! But I made the best of it by mixing a tad into the bland salsa. Chips were great. Five stars on the margarita!

Decent is the word I would use to describe this restaurant. The food was about average for what you expect from a Mexican Restaurant. The chips and salsa where realy good as the chips where fresh and where not to hard. The horchata was one of the worst I've had with almost no flavor. The beef chimichanga I had was decent. The flavors where fine and the beef was ok. I just want wowed with flavor like other places. The service was good and the restaurant itself is clean and a nice environment with outdoor seating as well.

Overall I wouldn't suggest coming here. You'd be much better off just going across the street to the brewery for a filling beer. The chips are about the quality you get from the grocery store and the salsa mostly just tastes like straight tomatoes. I got the Mexican street corn appetizer and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. It was more mayo than corn to the point I was trying my hardest to only get corn in each bite and the littlest amount of mayo possible, which is saying a lot considering elote is my all time favorite food. I got the tamale lunch and the tamale itself was pretty good, however the "mild sauce" as the menu says on top of it wasn't too great. It tasted like tomato sauce was just poured over the tamale, I would've enjoyed a salsa Verde or nothing on the tamale much more. My rice was undercooked and watery and the beans didn't taste like much at all. It was a filling meal for the price, but not worth the extremely underwhelming flavor and quality.

My bad loved this place a lot more then me, I did grow to love the food more but when I came to moan dishes I could never figure out what I wanted unlike other places. I did love the chips and dip before having the main meal, and the sauce was wonderful! I also loved the desserts but I'm still a child so of course I'll love the sweets. We were welcomed & seated right away. Our server was on his game. He was very attentive and courteous. I had the shrimp burrito with rice, beans and it was delicious. Casa Mezcal, Mosinee, Wi. We were there for a late lunch on a Sunday and the place wasn't very busy. The staff was still very friendly and attentive and the kitchen did a great job on our food which was out fast and delicious. Had fajitas and enchiladas. We sort of stopped here by accident mainly because it was open, but will now try to stop again. Got the impression that this might be a family-run place. The restaurant was clean, and it looks like they have a nice outdoor seating area for good weather as well.

Seems to me like the owner has everyone fooled that he’s a nice guy. I’ve heard him embarrass his employees on more than one occasion in front of customers. How disgusting. If something needs to be corrected with your employees that’s something you do in private. I feel so terrible for the cute little blonde girl that works the front. I always see her do more than her job description calls for and her and one of the cooks I think his name starts with an L talked so terrible to her in front of me. I’ve also heard the owner talk bad not only to the blonde girl but to that guy in front of customers. I bet his employees are happy when he is not in the restaurant! For this reason o will never go back there or to any establishment ran by this man!!!! Disgraceful!

Love Casa Mezcal! Recently moved to the area and this place quickly became a favorite! One of the few places open a little later, which was great when the night got a little late moving. First time my partner and I came here we fell in love with the food. It was delicious and we continue to find that week after week. In fact, it's become a weekly date night spot for us to enjoy! We LOVE their 2-for-1 Margarita specials on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, & Sundays! The steak & chorizo fajitas are AMAZING! Also, their corn tortillas are spot on! I’ve gone to countless Mexican restaurants and the corn tortillas are splitting down the middle before I can even use them! These guys have them figured out perfectly!
