We made a reservation a month in advance for our anniversary, that happened to be on a Friday. If you're from out of town, as we are, do NOT go here on a Friday. Unless you want to be in a big, loud, and crowded banquet hall where everyone is there for the fish buffet. We were still able to order steaks, but we ordered at 6pm, and didn't get served until a bit after 7pm. Apparently, there is an actual sit down restaurant portion of the building, but they don't even open it on Fridays. We had to do self serve salad and soup. We couldn't even get a bread basket, had to self serve there too. I passed after the guy in front of me tossed the napkin meant to hold the bagget while you sliced, and grabbed it with his bare hands. Thankfully the steaks were wonderful. But not the intimate and nice anniversary dinner we had hoped for. I'm sure it is much nicer on Saturdays.

We recently took my mother to Castle Hill to celebrate her 93rd birthday. She first dined here in 1955, 69 years ago. Talk about tradition! The food and drinks are excellent, service superb and you can't beat the classic #Wisconsin supperclub ambience!

In town riding ATVs. Found this place listed. Drove 15 minutes to get there. After being ignored, we're finally asked for our reservation. We didn't have one so they wouldn't seat us despite many open tables. We left and will never be back.

Im from out of town and was here with my family we waited for over 15 minutes before anyone even spoke to us only to be asked if we had a reservation, no where online or anywhere said we needed a reservation as well as the multiple empty tables which could've accommodated our family of 4, after walking out two other customers who overheard this came outside and talked to us whom were also from out of town forced to wait and then had to wait for over 45 minutes just to get drinks!! While we were looking foreward to the food we were instantly put off by the service and left. We weren't even told how long a wait would be.

If they agree to seat you, despite not having a reservation, BE PREPARED to be COMPLETELY IGNORED and treated like a poor, low-class citizen!!!!! We were unaware that a reservation was needed, but gambled to see if they had any available seating, which they did. We were completely ignored after being seated - no water, multiple wait staff walked passed us, no acknowledgement whatsoever. We watched multiple parties, who we assumed had reservations, come in after us and were waited on IMMEDIATELY. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, BUT when a party came in FORTY-FIVE minutes after our arrival, were seated and asked for drinks, we got up and left. I have NEVER been treated so HORRIBLY by an establishment. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Sorry, Not Sorry.

Food was okay. Prime rib was excellent. Our server, Tammy, was great but her boss gets a zero. I needed to part with two cards as it was more expensive than I thought ($90 for 3 people). The one card would not process even though the money on the card was verified. The card has not recently been used. It is for government reimbursement. And my normal debit card was $7 short. Spent about 5 minutes trying to figure out the government card before the three of us dig around for cash. When the owner took the card she was threatening us with calling the sheriff. Loudly. In public. Very embarrassing. The card situation could happen to anyone. We’ll take the server a nice tip Wednesday but NEVER eating there again.

Had a reservation right away when the opened at 4:30.The Alfredo I got was so bland and tastes like nothing despite all the parsley and basil they added to the sauce. I couldn't even eat it. The salad wasn't the best either. It was good but I've had better. The "cheese nuggets" were disgusting. I had about 5 of them before I felt like puking. My 3 year old nephew didn't even like them and he loves food. I probably won't ever come back here unless they change the menu.

Stopped here during cranfest because we wanted to eat at a Wisconsin Supper Club as they call themselves. Definitely not a supper club just a big former banquet hall with buffet dinners. The prime rib was tender but tasteless. It was not seasoned at all. The ribs did fall off the bone but that’s because they were so overcooked. The burnt ends were so tough and hard they couldn’t be chewed. The mashed potatoes were instant and watery. Then for toppers I wanted a grasshopper which is vanilla ice cream with crème de menthe and crème de cacao and whipped like a shake. What we received was a scoop of mint ice cream with a squirt of whipped cream. The service was good. we were waited on right away and got seated right away. But by no means is this a supper club. Very disappointed.

We came here today because I've heard nothing but good reviews about this place. Was very disappointed. Prime rib was very good. Not a fan of Walmart dinner rolls in a bag. My girlfriend got. Chicken fettuccine. No taste whatsoever chicken was very cheap and rubbery. We also got a cheesecake. Dessert tasted very cheap and not good at all will definitely not be back.

It pains me to write this review, because I've been coming here for many years. COVID has ruined so many things which is truly heartbreaking. I understand the world is shortstaffed and wait times can be long, but that does not excuse poor service.

Our waitress (believe the name was Ryleigh on the receipt) had zero people skills. She seemed young so she has a lot to learn. Never asked us for drink refills at any time & she would walk away hastily every time, so my husband had to get her attention to return to the table multiple times. The dining room was unfortunately closed, so we weren't able to enjoy the cozy atmosphere that it brings. Instead, we were seated in the hall where they serve the buffet. I feel like I'm eating at a truck stop every time I'm in that room. We didn't want the buffet since we can never eat enough to justify the price. Our waitress told us it was $16.99 for the buffet, turns out it was actually $25.99 tonight. The waitress begrudgingly gave us menus after promptly telling us "we're really trying to push the buffet tonight".

I wasn't even finished eating when she brought us the bill. About 2 minutes later she came back and asked if we were ready to pay. Um, no?! We felt extremely rushed like we were an inconvenience. We were only there for 40-45 minutes before we left. This was the first night out for my husband & I in almost a year (have a little one); we were really looking forward to a nice date night -- it was awful and utterly disappointing.

My king cut prime rib was about 85% fat. The small amount of meat I was able to eat was very good. Slightly overcooked; asked for rare and it came out medium rare, but that's not the end of the world. My husband said his ribeye was flavorful. So, complements to the chef! Thank you!

I'll be sure to ask if the dining room is open before we return. For now, I will fondly look back on the memories of the way things used to be.

Great classic supper club. They were pretty busy when we got there, with a wedding reception and a large party. But the service was great. The wife and I both had the prime rib and baked potato. It had great flavor and cooked perfectly. We both went with soup vs salads (it's the way of the north👍) hers being the clam chowder, mine the chicken noodle, We both agreed the soups were wonderful. Oh yeah, let's not forget the Old Fashioneds (brandy of course) the were quite tasty as well. We had the Brandy Alexander desserts for dessert, most wonderful. We went to the seafood buffet yesterday, it was 16.99 per person. They had a very wide variety food, however most of the seafood was dry or chewy, the chicken was mushy, and the BBQ chicken sliders were very flavorful but the chicken was extremely dry. The salad bar was average, the soups were chicken noodle, which was very seasoned, not terrible just a lot, and the reuben soup smelled really awful so none of us tried it. The service wasn't terrible, but we didn't feel overly welcome either. We walked in to have a man bark at us asking if we had reservations, he didn't smile once. The attendant (waitress?) was pleasant enough and minimally attentive. Overall, we decided this isn't an experience we needed to repeat but will be going back to see if the restaurant serves better options.

A unique dining experience, as it's a large hall atmosphere. Ample seating. We were a party of 7 that have patronized CastleHill in the past and loved it. This time was quite different. Our main waitress Was Hailey and she was quite brash with us! We had one joker in the bunch and she was not impressed with him and it showed in her demeanor! Actually she was quite rude! I ordered three shrimp with my Prime rib and she completely forgot about them. I didn’t get an apology or some sort of comp on our bill. They came out after everyone was done eating, so I actually only ate one shrimp. One of the people with us ordered his Prime med rare and it came out very Medium and several of us that ordered the Prime all stated it was barely warm. So needless to say it was not one of our best experiences, unfortunately!

This is a Wisconsin Supper Club - if you are city folk who don’t know what these are, then keep in mind they are not like big city dining establishments.

We went here on Saturday - prime rib night. The small dining room was packed from 5:30 - 7pm and frankly the tables were too close together in spots, so you better play nice with your neighbor. Despite being so busy and with the signs warning you about reduced staff, they all did a great job and were attentive for the whole time we were there.

The prime rib itself was fantastic. Extremely tender and tasty. Even the “small” 12 oz portion is enough for two people. Sides of salad, soup, and potatoes were all acceptable but nothing special.

The stuffed shrimp were also tasty and huge.

The dinner rolls at the table were more doughy than cooked; maybe that’s intentional?

We went for the All-You-Can-Eat Friday night Seafood Buffet. It was okay. Decent variety of baked, fried, and boiled seafood options (fish [haddock & catfish], clams, and shrimp), but not anything special like Wisconsin lakes fish like walleye, perch, bluegill, or anything like that. Usual sides like fries, mashed potatoes, and pasta salads. Salad and dessert bars were good. Service was okay but not very personable or friendly. Efficient (removing used dishes, etc.). Fairly reasonable prices. Felt a bit like a cafeteria, I guess, though. No atmosphere in the big seating hall. It got crowded pretty quickly after opening but there is a huge amount of seating, so we didn't see anybody having to wait too long to get a table. The cook was always checking the status of the buffet so there was adequate food coming out. Not sure we'll be back though because the buffet was like a lot of other chain buffet places and didn't offer anything unique and the service wasn't especially friendly. My first trip to Wisconsin, my first experience eating at a supper club. It was very affordable, and everyone in our large party enjoyed our meals. We had a wonderful time! A relative said the atmosphere reminded her of the show Virgin River? Good food, good service, lots of laughing and reminiscing. A wonderful evening all around.

From the moment we walked in, we were treated as a burden instead of paying customers. We did not make a reservation (gasp) but only half of their tables were full. We were told a table would be ready in 10 minutes; after 20 minutes of not being acknowledged, we left. On the way out, we saw 3 waitresses standing around eating.

Amazing old fashioned cocktails! We ordered the king cut rime rib and they came out perfect! My son ordered the pan fried chicken because the broster was out of order. It was just as good if not better! The fried fish was good. Perfectly beer battered. They had desert cocktails but we didn't Indulge this time. Thye do have the Brandy Alexander and Grasshopper to try if you're looking for those. I'd recommend this place anytime.
