Wow! Our first time here and if I could give the service more than 5 stars, I would! It's rare that you see a true team anymore, and everyone here worked together to make sure we had the best experience. A waitress (not even ours) came over to tie balloon animals for our daughter while we waited, although there was not much wait! Even though we came on a busy Friday night, we hardly waited at all, they've got things down to a science. Each person we encountered treated us like it was a slow Tuesday night, not a crazy Friday night. And the food...AMAZING! My husband had the haddock and I think it tasted almost like lobster! And on Fridays they have a potato bar-cottage fries, tater tots, baked potatoes, regular fries, mashed potatoes...and a salad bar in addition! I was full before my food even came. Thank you to everyone who worked tonight, it was the best service and food I've had in a long time!

We had another excellent dining experience at Cattails tonight. When we arrived we registered @ the hostess station, received our buzzer & returned to the bar. The joint was jumpin’ and we had great service. We placed our dinner order & relaxed & enjoyed our drinks.

We were seated a little early, and hit the salad bar. The salad offerings were plentiful & fresh. I love the thick blue cheese salad dressing!

Our meals were served as we were finishing our salads. My husband devoured his pork chop, keeping the 2nd one for leftovers. How can they cook it so well & still have it be so tender, juicy & flavorful?!? My sautéed shrimp was also tender & delicious.

We decided to share a piece of pear crumble cake for dessert. Oh my, it was so good! Tasted just like home made!

We’ll definitely be back!

We had our first meal there Saturday Aug 23rd. We arrived about 4:15. We setup our time to eat for 5 so we could have a cocktail at the bar prior. The old fashioneds were excellent. Our waitress came and took our order and right a 5 we were seated. We had our salad and soup and as we finished that our main course was delivered. I had the 16oz new York strip, wife had backed haddock and our son had the bluegill. The food was very good, our waitress Ali was wonderful. We'll be back!

Sharing this review because I believe they want the feedback, good or bad, to improve customer experience. Service was good, cleanliness good. My wife and I each ordered a steak. Her's was medium, mine medium rare. While the steaks came out, I was at the salad bar (salad bar, also good!). Upon getting back to the table, server asked if I wanted to cut into my steak to confirm it was cooked properly. I did and said it looked okay. Mine was medium, my wife's was medium well. I wish I had time without the server standing next to me to inspect the wellness of my steak. Next, the steaks were relatively bland. There were diamond grill marks on the steak but the heat that left these marks didn't cook the steak as the steaks weren't seared. I'd prefer a decent sear and seasoning for flavor. The steaks themselves were quality, tender meat. I wouldn't take this review as a reason not to patronize this dinner. We will likely eat here again in the future.

We are supper club people, we are constantly searching out new supper clubs to try and we loved this one. The wait staff from bar tenders to hostess to our waitress Adayla were super attentive and took care of our every need, there were a ten in my book! The potato bar had everything and the salad bar was fabulous. The guys said the prime rib was good, and healthy portions. One in our group did the Cattails 3 appetizers for $15 and it was enough food for four people. I had the filet and it was decent, good flavor but the cut of meat was not as good as some I've had elsewhere. They take good care of you here and I'd good back in a minute!! Wow. We eat out a lot and have high expectations when it coming to dining, atmosphere and food. Cattails exceeded every one of ours! Immediately, we were greeted by a friendly bartender, Aldaela. It was a nice change to walk in and be greeted by a friendly face, even though the bar was very busy. We were able to get drinks within the first few minutes of arriving. We were just passing through so dinner wasn't on our minds until we looked over the menu. There are plenty of options to satisfy any appetite. We opted to stay and were told we'd have a table in 30ish minutes. We continued to stay at the bar and Adaela took great care of us! The waitress, Maggie, came to take our order before we got to our table, which was a nice change.

Dinner. I ordered the baked haddock and my husband had the pork chops. Both of our meals came with the salad/soup bar and the potato bar. Maggie was friendly and very attentive to us.

I can't even describe how amazing our dinner was. The haddock was so tender and flaky I could hardly pick it up with my fork. The flavor was mild but delicious. The pork chop was prepared beautifully. It looked amazing and was tender and had the most amazing flavor I've ever tasted. The mashed potatoes were out of this world. The salad bar had all the fixings you could want. The creamy French onion soup with mushrooms has such a rich flavor. Dave, the chef tonight, was unbelievably talented. His food was out of this world.

It was all amazing. Bathrooms were clean! The entire staff stopped and helped clear tables, clean up the salad bar area and just check on us overall. And you could easily tell that this was the way the business was ran.

Since moving to Winneconne, we discovered Cattails and it has quickly become our family’s favorite restaurant (including our 4 and 7 year olds)! Big city prices for subpar food. The appetizers were terrible, glorified frozen foods section. The calamari was the fishiest I have ever tasted, and I have had squid in 3rd world countries. Think fish sticks, but the consistency of squid. Like wise, the rest were not great. My family got fish, not great as well. I ordered a ribeye, which was very thin and about $45. I ordered it rare and it came out greater than medium well. For the most expensive item on the menu, you would think that it would be of some greater quality. Additionally, instead of sides there was a potato bar that was the equivalent of cafeteria food that's sat out for far too long. I usually am not this negative in reviews, but the price to quality ratio is terrible. I would not recommend.

yourself, this place is a hidden gem outside of the Fox Cities. But wait! it's only 15 minutes from Neenah. I highly recommend this gem because they have it all. Went out for dinner and drinks with a friend and we were both very disappointed. It was last Wednesday and it wasn't very busy. The bartender didn't greet us when we entered and refilled four drinks before even acknowledging us. We both had Old Fashioneds and they were very good. She explained we had to walk over to the hostess stand to register for a table. So we enjoyed some conversation over a drink and then I went to register for a table. We'll, I got up and went around to the other end of the bar and walked down the hall to the hostess stand and nobody was there so I waited for four or five minutes and then went back to the bar and rejoined my friend. Then got up a few minutes later and same thing. It wasn't until my fourth trip that the hostess was actually at the station. She was apologetic because apparently people sitting in the dining room told her someone kept coming to register when she was gone. And truthfully, she was the hardest working person there. But she was hostessing, waiting on tables AND bussing the tables! She is the reason I gave two stars instead of only one. She did forget the glass of wine my friend ordered and by the time she remembered, we were almost done eating so she no longer wanted it. The food wasn't bad, but nothing extraordinary. The salad bar was nice, but I had the French dressing and it was the most bland dressing I had ever had! It pretty much ruined the salad.
Overall the drinks were good, the food acceptable, but have no interest in returning.

My husband and I stopped here for a long overdue date night. This was a last second change as the first place was busy. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We had drinks at the bar and pursued the menu. I ordered the prime rib, which was the Saturday special. My husband ordered ribs. When we were seated we were able to visit the salad bar. It had a wide selection. We also tried the soup-also excellent. Then our food came. My prime rib was melt in your mouth delicious. I also opted for the fried mushrooms and onions. Having never been to the establishment before my first impression was the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the bar area on first entering. Although the parking lot was very full there happen to be four spots on the end of the bar for us to sit, and we were greeted by the bartender and served our drinks promptly. Very good old-fashioneds! We were told to check in if we were interested in having dinner and we were given menus and a beeper and were told what time we would be seated and they were spot on punctual with that timing. The salad bar and potato bar were fresh and clean, and everything was warm on the potato bar and chilled and delicious on the salad bar. Because of the abundance of those two stations, none of us tried the soup, but there was also an option of that to add to our dinner as well. The dinner rolls were fresh and warm and delicious as well, which doesn’t happen very often anymore at any supper clubs. Our server Extraordinaire was Stephanie, she was friendly and professional and went out of her way to accommodate all of us. All four of our meals were amazing! Of the four of us, I am hands-down, the pickiest, so the other three in the group are always hesitant whether I’m going to like my meal! No question tonight, I ordered the Guinness glazed ribs that were out of this world! I’m happy to say I could barely eat them because of all of the other food so I get to enjoy them as leftovers for the next couple days. Mom had the liver and onions that she said was the most tender she has had since she can’t remember when, my daughter-in-law had the boneless pork loin chops and they were melt in your mouth, tender and juicy! My son ordered the scallops and I have to say they were prepared in a way that I had never seen scallops done before, and crusted with a Parmesan cheese coating and served with a spinach reduction. I typically don’t order scallops out because I feel like I can cook them better myself at home, but I must admit, I will really have a hard time next time I go there to decide which meal to order because everything was so delicious! And although you will definitely not have any room left for dessert, my son did order the chocolate lava cake with ice cream, and I would box up your leftovers and save room for that instead of skipping it, one of the best dessert desserts I’ve ever tried!!
Kudos to this Supper Club Gem!! I am a regular supper club enthusiast and this is one of the best places I have been in a very, very long time, from the drinks to the service to every bite of food along the way! Can’t wait to go back again and share this with enthusiasts! 🌟

The moment you walk in, you are greeted by two wonderfully friendly bartenders. They asked if this was our first visit and then explained how to check in for dinner. The bar is beautiful, the atmosphere is classic supper club and the service was phenomenal. I asked what the bartender would recommend for wine, she was immediately informative and knowledgeable about what they had and what was a great wine. The ribeye was extremely tender and we loved the potato bar. This is worth the short drive off the hwy.....we will be back.

I thought all of the fish was excellent. Service was great too, very friendly people. As for the potato bar, it comes across as a great idea, but unless the fried potatoes are rotated every 10-15 minutes, what is left on there is luke warm and no longer crisp. After trying a few tots and fries that were not fresh, I opted for a baked potato. We will be back again though.

We were greeted when we walked into the bar , registered with host, and ordered drinks. Very friendly and professional. When seated after a short wait, we enjoyed the Soup and Salad bar. Very Delicious and then we were able to enjoy the potato bar with our entrée of baked haddock, and new strip steak. WHAT is a potato bar you ask?
Your choice of different types of potatoes mixed vegetables, etc with your choice of toppings if you want loaded potatoes. 😋😋
Good portions and reasonable prices, phenomenal wait staff. Definitely will return.

This is my 3rd time at Cattails and each time it's always an issue with the food. The first time I had sauteed shrimp and it came on a white plate with shrimp laid out, terrible presentation, but flavor was okay. The 2nd time I ordered the pork chops because someone had them the 1st time we were there, and the pork chops were nearly inedible. The 3rd time was not the charm. I tried the baked haddock and if you know the shape of haddock this was definitely not haddock. It was in the shape of Tilapia which is garbage fish. I really want to like Cattails, but I won't be going back.

Went to Cattails supper club tonight. The food was fabulous. Husband had prime rib. I had baked haddock. Sides are offered at a side bar, along with a salad bar and homemade soup and rolls. The staff was wonderful and hospitable. We will be back. I finished my meal with a grasshopper. There was a nice seating area in the bar to visit before dinner.

Haddock was absolutely delicious, steaks weren't cooked to the desired temp but were still good. The potato and salad bar were also really good! Unfortunately we weren't given rolls and the waitress didn't come often enough to refill beverages but overall it was a good experience.

The staff was extremely pleasant, kind and attentive! Drinks were decent. The food was just average.

Tenderloin wasn’t as tender as I would have liked and blue crumbles did not make the plate (they were out). Mashed potatoes were dry, opted for them as they said they use frozen vegetables.

Other people in group thought their food was average as well. One individual had the perch and thought it was great.

Salad bar was just ok. Ice cream drinks were good, dessert was okay, didn’t seem homemade.

Things that could make this place great. Fresh vegetables, homemade rolls, homemade desserts and homemade salad dressings with some attention to detail at the salad bar. Details like this are what make Supper Clubs great. I think it can get there.

The experience was nice. It's a great spot for a Supper Club. However there are a few things that would make this supper club journey a little more of a destination. The lettuce was good but seemed to be slightly brown as if it was leftover from lunch. There was confusion regarding the menu (as it had changed) both physical and web site. It appears they do not have Chicken Alfredo as a meal option anymore. However we were given menus at the bar that had this as an option 2 of 4 had chosen this as an option! They do have Cheese Tortellini as a substitute and you can add broasted chicken if you like. The baked haddock was terrific! The dinner rolls were fantastic, the service was fabulous! The atmosphere was not as "cozy" as you'd expect from a supper club such as warm low lighting and warm inviting colors. They did have a very nice selection of whiskey and a lounge area near the bar with a wall mounted fireplace.
Bar opens at 4:00 however dinner service didn't start until 5:00, these items could be clarified to accommodate individuals that are coming just for the dinner experience. They have a great Wine Wednesday special, receive a free bottle of wine with the purchase of any two entrees!

Clean, nice atmosphere and very polite staff. Seating is not large area but we were seated with time to enjoy a good old fashionedat the bar. They also had some comfy chairs by the bar for waiting. Ordered a medium rare tenderloin which was done to perfection - great flavor too. Something different was a potato bar which changes daily. We had options of mixed veggies, fries, tater tots, fried okra, mashed potatoes and baked potatoes.

Our first experience was not good,We waited 45mins at 5:00 that was perfectly fine but the service itself lacked consistency you ask for water she would bring one and forget the other my wife asked for a straw never got it but waitress always said I’ll go get it and never came back.The salad was brown so I skipped that the potato bar they should eliminate completely everything was either soggy or cold baked potatoes could not melt butter I ordered shrimp and that’s what I got 8shrimp and that’s what I got 8shrimp on a huge plate not very appealing at all I won’t be back anytime soon

Very disappointing, after reading the reviews we were hoping for better than what we got. Bartender was not the most attentive or quick but definitely tried to make up for it, which we appreciated. As for the food, prime rib was tender but lacked flavor and the potato bar needs improvement, everything was over cooked and soggy. Very disappointed! I saw the reviews online and really looking forward to it but, I would have to say that they are reviews from employees, family and friends. All the hot food was over cooked. The grill is too hot! The burger was chard, my egg on the burger was crispy, bacon was hard to bite. And even the fish was over done. No condiments are given or at the salad bar. As for the potato bar it was ok, I would have liked to have some veggies, but it was never refilled the entire time we were there as well as the one soup they had and because of that the bottom of pans were all burned. The salad bar was the only saving grace for our dinner. I don't mind paying the price if the meal is good but not for subpar food. Needless to say, I am pretty sure we will not be returning!
