We love stopping here when we’re in the area. The food is homemade and dynamite! The servers were really friendly and professional. The food comes really quickly and served with a smile. It’s got a cozy atmosphere in the restaurant and a laid back feel. We really like that they have ketchup on the tables here. That’s a really popular thing in Canada but not so much in the States. We also have a way different version of rye bread but I like the marble bread you guys in Wisconsin call rye. It’s a great place to take the family. The deserts and pies are all made from scratch. This place is highly recommended! Make the stop and you won’t be disappointed

The servers were friendly but not attentive. We all had empty drinks for a while. Asked for side of frys as appetizer for a child but came out with main course. Fish and salmon were okay. The 8 oz sirloin was very fatty and tough. Kids' spaghetti wasn't good. The only things we liked were the frys, coffee, and salad.
The floors and other areas could use general cleaning while open and some deep cleaning in bathroom.

I wouldn't recommend the clam chowder. My boyfriend and I each were served a generous bowl of the soup, which was included with the entree )soup or salad).
The soup had a satisfactory flavor, but neither of us was sure it was truly clam chowder.
When I was reaching the end of the serving, I found a distinct piece of clam. Yes, then I knew what the soup was meant to be.
The fried cod I had was on the dry side, definitely not the best. The French fries were good.
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, definitely good people.

Food was decent. Same taste and quality of any small cafe. Very tight parking. Staff was pleasant but hurried. One even took the menu from one of my friends as he was using it to order and gave it to another table. The owner was polite but 15 minutes after our food was served asked if we would hurry it up so she could turn the table…15 MINUTES!! Needless to say I won’t be back if I have a say

My girlfriend and I eat here at least one or two times a week because the food is consistently fresh, high quality and arrives faster than I expect. The wait staff is super friendly and happy and the owner is very lovely and attentive and always makes sure we had a great experience. You get a lot of really great food for a good price and the coffee is typical great diner coffee. Anything on the breakfast menu is great and their melts and burgers are especially great. We have been to this café and I had given it 5 stars, but my opinion has changed. My husband and I had stopped for lunch in the summer of 2022. My husband ordered a melt & fries which he said was good. I ordered a teriyaki chicken sandwich and soup. My sandwich came without any teriyaki on it. I tried to convey this to the waitress. I kept saying there wasn’t any teriyaki on it and she kept saying I got the teriyaki sandwich. She didn’t have much English and I couldn’t get her to understand. Finally I asked for a manager and she wasn’t much better but finally they brought me a cup of teriyaki sauce that I could spread on the sandwich. We had other problems as well, all because of a language barrier. The food was still good so we tried it again this summer (we don’t live in town). We had difficulty ordering because of the language barrier and subsequently seemed to be ignored. The waitress didn't check on us at all (no coffee refills, soda refills , how was your food, etc and it wasn't busy). I don't think we will try this place again. It doesn't pay to have good food at good prices if you can't communicate with your customers
