I Had a to-go order and the care they took to package the food was the best I’ve seen in all my travels. The Pickles were separated from the bread which sounds dumb but no one wants soggy bread when they don’t do this. I Actually got a big cup of sauce for the side salad instead of most places barely giving you enough to cover a 1/4 of a salad.

Overall the food was 10/10 and I will eat here again next time I’m in town

Long story short, I got take out, waited the 15 mins as requested for the order, paid, drove 4-5 mins home, opened box to some of the soggiest wings I’ve ever come across. Called and asked for refund and was met with defensive lady blaming me. Yes things get soggy after sitting in a box I understand that, but I literally just paid, left, and drove 5 mins home to wings so soggy they were falling apart

Only one visit so far. It was okay, but not great. I'll try them again soon to see if I warm up to them or not. I had some boneless wings which were satisfactory. They turned it into a basket by adding fries and cole slaw.

Added Jan 2025: on my second visit I had their daily special which was a cheeseburger and fries for 10 bucks. And a couple beers. Photo added. They had a couple good IPAs on tap. Good place to meet a friend for a chat with a meal.

This place is great. Clean. Fun. You can carry on a conversation with the people at your table w/o shouting. The wait-person was fantastic and so was the food. I agonized and gave 4 stars only because it doesn't have a very large choice of items on the menu. To be fair, maybe that's all pub-like places...I'm not too hip/knowledgeable.

Central Pub is the best bar/pub in the tri-state area, hands-down. The seating is comfortable and well-tended-to by incredibly kind staff - who always treat you well if you treat THEM well, as they're ferrying around multiple orders at a time on the busiest days - and you will NOT find a better fried chicken wing basket and Bleu Cheese dip in the Midwest. I am not exaggerating.

If you're within a hundred miles of the city of Superior, Wisconsin and want a stellar bar experience that's friendly to people of all stripes and provides delicious food at more-than-affordable prices, make a trip and GO.

This is my absolute favorite place to go. Granted the parking is not ideal unless you steal a tenant spot which I try very hard not to do. I absolutely adore the atmosphere. I absolutely adore all of the food. I absolutely adore all of the staff. Everything about this place is fantastic (besides aforementioned parking) and I could not recommend it more. I love their wings! Back in the day they were Tavern 105 out of South Superior. Now with a new central location that has pros and cons, they have a phenomenal staff that still delivers excellent service and amazing food. You will not find wings that could surpass these. The breading on the wings is superb, and the flavor of every single wing I have tried has been top-notch. Did I mention the staff is amazing? The staff is one of the best parts of going here. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely fast. I have not ever had a bad encounter with any staff. If you have yet to go here, you need to go here. Like literally you'd have to go here and try everything because honestly it's the best. They're tap selection is also great. I no longer drink, but when I visit the restaurants with other people they enjoy their alcohol selection. I would say this is also kid-friendly to, because the bar is removed from some of the seating areas. The bathrooms are always kept clean and are the perfect distance away from where food is being served. Seriously, what are you waiting for?

My family and I stopped here tonight on Labor Day. We were delighted to see it wasn’t too busy (must have been the holiday). The waitress was super nice and attentive as well as friendly to our kids. The food was great, came out speedy. We preferred these wings over Buffalo Wild Wings as they were good and meaty! The restaurant itself was very clean (bathrooms included). Overall a wonderful experience, we will be back :)

I'm not sure what I thought I would find in a rapidly dilapidating town with minimal to nonexistent attractions; a local restaurant with poor professionalism and customer service should have topped the list. We waited to be seated (as instructed by the sign by the door) for over 10 mins. Keep in mind the restaurant was not busy, and the silly waitress was busy chucking it up with other customers while she clearly saw us waiting by the door, and other customers kept staring at us. Out of frustration (because the girl was too blind to see us or didn't have the decency to inform us that she was busy and needed more time before seating us), we immediately left the restaurant. It was evident the waitress was not up to doing her job. Whatever the "great service" the people in the comment was referring to, I cannot confirm. I never received any. I certainly would not recommend coming here, much less coming back myself. Whatever I expected here, I should have prepared for worse.

Busy, so expect a wait for the best wings in the twin ports. So crispy and absolutely delicious. Fries were good, cheese curds good, and drinks were balanced. Fried fish sandwich was super refreshing for something fried and would order again. The only caveat is the medium Buffalo wings are more like mild everywhere else. So I suggest getting hot buffalo.
