Great food, great service. Was extremely busy when we went. We didn't have to wait long for a table or for our food once we ordered. Food was delicious! Recommend the beer cheese dip for an appetizer. Beer battered fish fry was great, not to greasy and was hot when served. The Cajun walleye is excellent as well. Definitely will be back. Highly recommended to stop in for a bite if your in the area.
Only complaint we have is the phone is in the dining room and was ringing constantly. Was very loud and annoying.

I visit frequently for pizza with the family, love your pizza! But this is the second time in a row that it took 35+ minutes to get our pizza and when brought out it was made wrong. Didn't get anything off the price cuz it was made wrong, just given the option to have it remade and wait for another one to be made. At this point I don't think I'll drive 30+ minutes to your restaurant to have pizza anymore.

I just paid SIX DOLLARS for a tiny plate of fries! I always liked the food at this place, but that price is crazy, and two dollars more than everyone else... where you get double the amount. Very, very disappointed. The bartender made no apologies for the ridiculous price, and couldn't care less if I came back. Pretty sad.

Came for dinner and accidentally crashed their Bingo Night, haha. We decided to join in and some wonderful patrons and staff helped us quickly understand their rules/game flow and we felt like pros in no time. The food was delicious — fried perch pieces were gigantic (wish they had homemade tartar sauce though) and even my kid's chicken nuggets were great and made with high quality chicken. Iced tea was a little weak, but the beer was solid, as expected. The waitress stopped by regularly and the Bingo made it extra fun (cash only, $7 for a pack of sheets covering 6 games). We will definitely be back next time we're in Waupaca.

Stopped in to grab dinner yesterday. Told to seat ourselves and sat outside on the deck. Ordered an appetizer of cheese curds to split. They were OK, but the plates that were brought out were still caked with food from whomever ate on it before; the dishwasher didn't do a good job cleaning them. It did take awhile for someone to come to our table even though it wasn't terribly busy.

The server was pleasant for the interactions that were had. We both ordered a burger and fries (typically a safe choice when the establishment seems questionable). The burgers are frozen patties, which is fine, but the cook was poor. Asked for medium to be safe, but the burger came out with a weird texture. I think the griddle was too hot so the outside was cooked but the middle was still rare and had a weird, unpleasant texture kind of like I was eating plastic.

My fiancée got sick last night and I got sick this morning. I'll spare you the details. Not sure how this place has high reviews, or if there's been recent turnover, but I would avoid this place like the plague. Spent $40 for below mediocre burgers.

We arrived with 14 people and Sat at 3 tables on the deck. Did call in advance but we're told no reservations. Would have been nice to sit together (if they'd taken a reservation they could have put tables together) but oh well. Wait staff were young girls who really worked hard and were super sweet. My food was great and I didn't hear of anyone not enjoying theirs. Hot chips are a great shareable appetizer. Glad to have a place that has more than just "bar food" close to the lake. The last three times my girlfriend and I have ordered food from here the service has been less the satisfactory. Things missing and this time I will never order the twice baked potato again…… hair in the fries the “we pretended came from the dog” and then the lack of concern of there mistakes. The food and serivce were good. They had a large outdoor seating area and big booths and tables inside.

I ordered the regular Mac n cheese, but asked for fried onions on it and that was definitely a game changer. The mack would have been fine by itself, but I probably wouldn't order it again. With the fried onions it was wonderful! Big serving.
The fries were also crisp to perfection and not too salty.
I also got their mapel old fashioned, which was good but a little too sweet. A drinks were a little expensive, but overall would come again.

The big issue is their service(not all of them). I just called there to place an order for delivery. The woman who answered the phone was rude immediately and continued to be throughout the entire call. I was polite as I always am especially to people who work in restaurants/bars. I don't know who this lady is but I would definitely not have her taking calls and orders. There is no reason to treat any customer that way. The woman did state she just had surgery... that doesn't give you the right to talk to customers like that. If you cannot be kind to people because you had surgery maybe you should stay home until you're healed up and ready to return with an acceptable attitude. This is probably the same woman that always has an attitude. You order a drink and it's like you just asked her to do a triathlon. All the servers and other bartenders have always been kind and provide great service. I don't usually write reviews unless a place goes above and beyond but I had to this time. Hopefully it can change.

I had a reservation set for the beach house months in advance. While going through the calendar she gave me a date that was available. Two weeks before my event she sent a text message stating that she double booked and had to cancel my reservation. I could tell she was looking at her calendar when I booked so I assume something more important came up so she just cancelled mine. I can't believe she would only send the message in a text also. Not going there ever again!
