Great food and value in the past but everyone has been incredibly sick since our visit yesterday. A man cooking was yelling and cursing non-stop while other customers and I were waiting on orders so it was very unsettling to some. We will definitely order from other takeout shops from now on. It's just not worth being sick and unable to eat for days after going there.

Doesn’t taste like the other Chang Jaing restaurants in DeForest or Madison. It doesn't really taste like chinese food. There is an absence of sauce. I didn't taste any garlic sauce in my food. It just tasted like beef, vegetables & white rice. No chinese flavor. I also ordered crab rangoons, they were way over cooked. Not impressed & won't be ordering from here again.

There is 3 tables should you prefer to dine in, yet have never seen any dining in.
Food is good... not great but for Sun Prairie Wisconsin its the best in a town that rolls up the streets at 8pm on Saturday night.
The portions are excellent so kudos, and is family owned,kudos.

Excellent quality "American Chinese" food. Other locations of this restaurant are good, but this is definitely the best one. Reasonably priced, generous portions, ready exactly on time for pick up. Easy parking. I think it might be cash only if you order on the restaurant website instead of through a delivery service, but it cost a lot less doing it that way and was worth it.

This is pretty much everything you want out of a "hole in the wall" Chinese food place: awesome food, cheap prices, and everything served hot and fast. Highly recommend if you need a break from doing dishes and cooking and want a high quality meal at a decent price. Egg rolls and spring rolls are reasonably priced too! Highly recommend this place!

We placed an order online and was charged twice. Once by the restaurant and once by Grubhub. We picked up the order and was surprised by the double charge. This place is great. One time a few years ago one of the owners was nice enough to drop our food off at our apartment just down the road when we walked outside and found out our car got towed. Best 20 dollar tip we ever gave for delivery.

I'll be honest. I've been to China King and Panda Express many times over the years. One day, I decided to try something different, Chang Jiang. I was absolutely shocked. China King and Panda Express are good, but Chang Jiang is just on a whole other level. Everything I've ever gotten there tastes amazing! The workers are nice too! One thing I will recommend to quite literally EVERYONE I meet: Eat the damn pork egg rolls. They'll change your life. They'll make you go from whatever size your at now to plus fifty pounds. Seriously. Their absolutely heavenly.

I got egg too young (shrimp) and noticed it smelled fishy on my way home
Had it for dinner and a hour later I threw up and had diarrhea

When ordering the person taking our order seemed upset and started talking in another language angrily as soon as we requested no vegetables in a dish (have done this at the Deforest restaurant where they happily do it for us). When we got the food, the teriyaki chicken was basically jerky and hard to eat, and the mei fun and chow mein tasted the worst we've ever tasted. Very surprised by this when the Deforest restaurant is one of the best Chinese places we've gone too. Don't recommend this restaurant at all.

However, it is worth the wait. May have been the best Dumplings I've ever had!!! I ate mine in the car.

The lady that take orders is very rude and refused to even listen to me when I tried to tell her they gave me the wrong item. Instead she rudely talked over me and showed no concern. I wanted to pick up some noodles for my birthday. I had never been here before but was in the area. The helpings of food I received were sizable and fed me for two days and the price was reasonable. There are not many Asian food places in the area to choose from, but this one has the best menu in my opinion and the food was good. I had the Cow Mei Fun and General Tsos Shrimp. Both were packed with veggies and meat.

I've ordered food here over 20 times and it is actually really good, priced reasonably, and they are super efficient!!! I always recommend this place.

UPDATE: Usually order from this place. In fact since I moved to this area 6 years ago this has been my go to restaurant. It makes me sad I can no longer recommend. The last few orders have been terrible - all $70+. Burnt fried rice and egg foo young, old chicken, overall taste/quality of food has been poor. Crab rangoon=no filling. Eggrolls hard and old. Fried chicken odd taste. (The orange chicken was great actually). The portion sizes and quality do not match the price point of this place any longer. I can get better quality/tasting food else where. If I'm going to spend money it's going to be on good food.

I am very disappointed with Chang Jiang. I have been coming here for years and typically don't have any problems yet I went last night(June 4, 2022) and I ordered a vegetable lomein and received chicken. I went back in to get this fixed and was given a replacement only for that to also have chicken in it!
As someone who hasn't eaten meat in several years I am very sad to see that this is another place that I must cross off as unsafe, even KFC is safer than this!

Normally I have 0 issues with this place. Tonight's food was rushed and undercooked. Instead of acknowledging this and offering a simple solution like a credit on my next visit, I was called a &^%$. Was craving some Chinese food, so placed an order online, which was quick and easy. Was surprised how cheap the prices were, but I understand now.

Got teriyaki beef, steamed dumplings, wontons, vegetable fried rice, and Kung pao chicken. The teriyaki beef was good, the fried rice was bland , and the rest is inedible. The Kung Pao chicken is nothing like any I've ever eaten, and tastes like Play-Doh. I'm not sure what's inside the dumplings or wontons, but it's awful. So for $30 I got 4 teriyaki beef sticks and some fortune cookies. If we don't get food poisoning we'll consider it a cheap lesson.

Second location I’ve tried for this chain and this was the lesser of the two in terms of quality and satisfaction. The food is okay, there really isn’t much flavor at all. I asked for my order of chicken and mixed vegetables to be spicy, and the container had the word spicy on it, but it had as much heat as mashed potatoes and milk.

I will say that the over-the-phone service was friendly, and the portion size is enormous for the low cost so overall I’d rate this as an average restaurant.

Outstanding Chinese food. Probably the best I've had. Always piping hot with fresh crisp veggies that snap when you bite into them. Colorful due to the fact that they still retain 100% flavor which is crucial to me and keeps me going back about once a week. Anyone who's had chinese with dull, faded veggies that are mushy and devoid of flavor can appreciate the difference. The wait staff is lightning fast and amazingly friendly. I highly recommend that anyone who enjoys Chinese as much as me stop in and taste the difference.

Thos was the worst chineese food I have ever had from a Chang Jiangs. I had the shrimp cashew and I had to throw most of it away it was a reddish color which I have never seen in this dish before ,very bland,and the shrimp was cut up into little pieces I will not be going back. Very disappointed I go to the fitchburg and Madison locations and always enjoy. Sun prairie however I'm not happy. Food just wasn't good. The chicken was extremely salty and clearly cooked in old oil. My dumplings were undercooked and doughy and my sweet n sour sauce was so tart I couldn't enjoy it. Oh and my almond cookies. Very stale and you charge more for a pack than the other stores but you give 1 less cookie. Not cool

I rarely give any reviews . Big disappointment over the last few months. Don’t order number 114 unless you just want a bunch of rice noodles with hardly any veggies.
