We decided to go back for their Chartroom Chicken and it was just as good as before and only $16.95. You get coleslaw, a roll and choice of a side. There is plenty chicken as it's 4 pieces. Our server, Dee, was top notch and he checked back with us often to make sure we didn't need anything more and that we were happy with our meal.
We sat by the river side and enjoyed the view. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Used to go here quite often back when it was Boosters Bouy, was reminiscent of how amazing their Mac & Cheese was. Went to the ChartRoom hoping that this would be at least a similar experience. The food was quite pricey (about 15$ up) especially for the quality which was about a 2 out of 5. The worst part of the experience was that we went when it wasn't super busy (about 5 tables plus the bar) and it took almost an hour to get our check and it was impossible to ask our hostess any questions as she was constantly at the bar. That however might not have been all her fault as it seemed only 2 wait staff were on duty. Overall the waitress was super nice but this restaurant just isn't where it should be for the price.

I don't normally leave reviews but our experience was so bad I feel it'd be a disservice to future customers if I didn't. We waited over 20 minutes for our order to be taken, I'm not even sure who our waiter was meant to be; after being seated no one came to our table at any point without needing to be called over first. After ordering we then had to wait almost an hour before ultimately having to flag someone down to find our food. The food itself was dry and flavorless, and we're pretty sure it was forgotten and then reheated since they brought it out immediately after we asked about it, despite having had to wait an hour beforehand. Furthermore, the steak was overcooked and had to be sent back, and the second one was slightly undercooked but at least edible. I am genuinely impressed by how awful the food and service was, and would sooner go dumpster diving behind a McDonald's than eat here again.

Came here with a big group of 15 people. Our servers were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. One person in our group’s order was wrong and the servers and chef made it right and apologized not less than 3 times. The chef even came out to make sure we enjoyed everything. I wanted to try a fish fry from a place I hadn't experienced before and I think I found my new favorite. The pieces were big and cooked just right. The potato pancakes were also perfectly seasoned and cooked. Something as simple as tartar sauce was also exceptional. Even the PUP meals were a huge hit (looked good enough for me to dig into). The dogs probably didn't even taste their food as it was gone in mere seconds. I will definitely be ordering here again! (I would've posted a picture but everyone just dove right in and pictures of empty containers wouldn't be appropriate....) My only complaint is that only one of the fish dinners had lemon (I ordered four). That's small based on the outstanding quality of the food.

We went there for an early dinner on a Sunday. We sat outside, to listen to the live music. Not once did anyone come to see if we wanted food or drinks. We had to go inside to let them know we were waiting, as were 3 other tables. They ended up serving the other two tables, but not us. We went inside to place an order at the bar. We only ended up getting two orders of fries for the table, and that still took over 30 minutes.

We came for the view and will be back for the courteous service and yummy food! Our group opted for burgers, soup, salad and sandwiches, however there were so many other options on the menu. Portions seemed like a good size. Dee was our server and he was so friendly and attentive. He brings such a great vibe to the table and around the restaurant. Everyone else seemed just as welcoming. I’m so happy Chart Room is open and will definitely be back.

Gorgeous but authentic atmosphere. Yesterday I had lunch on the deck. An incredible chicken sandwich one of the best I’ve ever had then I had dinner with my family of eight. Absolutely Unacceptable – Dishonest Staff, Wrong Charges, and Zero Accountability

If I could give zero stars, I would. This restaurant didn’t just make a mistake—they charged my credit card for another table’s bill. I ended up paying for food and drinks I never ordered or received. When I brought it up, the staff and manager gave me one excuse after another, showing no urgency or responsibility.

To make matters worse, they knew I was on my way to the airport, and still wasted a significant amount of my time with delays and empty reassurances. Completely disrespectful.

Now, instead of enjoying my trip, I have to deal with my credit card company to dispute a charge that should never have happened in the first place. That’s time, stress, and energy I never should’ve had to spend—all because of their negligence and dishonesty.

No one wants to find a random, incorrect charge on their statement—and certainly not have to fight to fix it. Avoid this place at all costs. There are too many honest, well-run restaurants to waste your money and peace of mind here.

The gentleman that seated us went out of his way to give us a nice seat by the window. My wife and I selected the special,walleye, and we enjoyed it very much! It was probably the best prepared walleye I ever ate! The vegtable medley was very nice as well.

Decided to head to the water in Racine because the weather was unexpectedly beautiful and this seemed like a nice place for a fish fry. We were greeted by the most polite and welcoming gentleman as a host. He offered us our choice in booths and we were seated quickly.
Although it was Friday and we tried to be understanding of the larger than most weekday crowds, we felt the food service didn’t match the warm welcome from the host. We watched other tables receive a fair amount of attention, even visits from the cooks, but we were not checked on and when we flagged someone down for refills on drinks, and a missing condiment we had requested, they offered but ultimately forgot so we went without. This service level for the price was discouraging.
After dinner, we waited a very long time hoping to get a To-Go box and our bill. Our bill was quickly dropped at the table finally with an, “I’ll be right back for that”, as the server skirted off before we could ask for the box. Another member of the waitstaff noticed and went for a box.
We get “busy”, trust me, but it should have been better. Maybe just an off night for our server??
Anyways- the food… it will tempt us to give the place a second chance. We each had a special that was offered with a side salad add on. The walleye was breaded lightly and the fillet was large and flavorful. The baked cod was perfect and a nice sized portion. The veggies were cut fancy, a nice variety and well cooked. The fries were crisp and hot. The side salads were delicious and colorful. Everything was a nice variety and provided a color and flavorful balance.
Although disappointed by the table service on this occasion , the very kind host and the quality of food will likely convince us to give Chartroom another try- especially considering they have outdoor seating and it will be nice to have quality food, on a deck by the lake. Hopefully this can be updated to five stars in the near future.

I’m a sucker for any kind of dining on the water. It’s my favorite view. This place delivered. I sat in the bar (with a view of the boat slips on the river and Monday Night Football) But there’s a full dining room. And outdoor seating overlooking the water. And I’m having a last glass of wine sitting in a row of chairs down on the boardwalk. The boats and the water are 20 feet away!

The menu has a good variety. I’m a Caesar salad with salmon guy so nothing crazy but everything that came out of the kitchen looked good. Service was prompt and the wine pours generous. And I just realized that the music has had me whistles along all night

The best part is that it’s walking distance from my hotel. All in all a good dinner. I’ll definitely repeat

Our server seemed like she really didn’t care for her job. She did not introduce herself and had a bit of an attitude whenever she asked us questions and was just rather huffy whenever we asked for something. It didn’t really seem like she understood the menu.

I ordered a caesar salad which was brought to me with no dressing on it. When I asked for dressing, I was brought Thousand Island, which ruined the salad altogether. As a pregnant woman who has been craving caesar salads, you can imagine how disappointed I was in this.

On the flip side, the outside seating area is nice and provides a great view of the harbor!

Went here for my first time and was slightly disappointed due to the poor service I received. The waitress was very friendly but not attentive. I spent about 20 minutes waiting for a beer and wasn’t informed by my server that they were out of it until my food came. The patio was nice and the overall atmosphere was good. I also didn't receive any napkins or utensils until I asked for them when my food came out. Granted I had already ordered and finished an appetizer without them by that time.

Racine needs to figure out how to get people out and about. Chartroom could be a pretty decent spot especially in the evening/ night as it sits right up against a lock... bay... I don't know what you call it, but it has potential.

It was nice to sit and watch the boats, unfortunately for us it was a bit cold and windy so we couldn't enjoy the patio to its fullest. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We appreciated her patience.

The food... is... well, fine? Its pretty much bar food, but maybe a little more upscale... a little. It filled our bellies so we can't complain.

The inside is a bit lacking though. It has the makings to be a cool spot but lacks the details to really stand out. There isn't much inside that makes you feel like it's a unique bar and grill. Kind of just run of the mill. The bar is also a bit awkward as it's tucked back in one of the corners of the restaurant and if you come in from the side it's the first thing you're created by. The patio(s) are the best thing they have going for it.

Wedding party!!!
We had a small (30 people) celebration here July 20 after we married last spring.
I cannot over emphasize how attentive the staff was, how delicious the food. Lots of people came in from out of state, so we went with traditional Wisconsin food. Brats with sauerkraut, cheese curds, and the biggest hit, the Horlicks drinks available at the bar.
They set up a tent for us, there was grass for the little ones to run around, the buffet was perfect down to the hand crafted potato chips. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

From start to finish, awful! We were seated outside, which is lovely. Told the host that it was our 1st wedding anniversary. He told me he'd let our server know. Zero acknowledgment of our anniversary from our server. We ordered cocktails, an appetizer and our entrees all at the same time. Our drinks and appetizer came out pretty quickly. The onion rings were excellent and the dipping sauce was very flavorful. My husband asked for a lime in his drink. Didn't get one. My passion martini tasted like pure juice and was lukewarm. Asked for napkins as soon as our appetizer arrived. Didn't get any. Had to ask a 2nd time for napkins but only after we'd already finished our appetizer did we get any. 25 minutes later my entrée arrived "House Favorite", Quartermaster burger. Zero pink to the meat as I'd requested. The jalapeno bacon jam tasted and smelled like maple syrup. ZERO seasoning on the fries. 5 minutes later my husbands fish fry arrived as they were "waiting on the fries". Brought my husband his plate and was told, "sorry, we ran out of coleslaw." Oh and zero utensils to be found! Our bill comes and we patiently wait for our server to charge our card. She comes back after 10 minutes, "Oh! I dont know if you heard? Our card reader is down. We are only taking cash. There is an ATM inside" My husband and I were appalled! What establishment tells their paying customers at the end of the meal that they are only taking cash? We were charged a $3 fee for using the ATM. I have never been so royally disappointed in a restaurant.

The staff is amazing! They are so friendly, efficient and welcoming. The atmosphere is of going to a place where you are seen and known. The food was delicious and delivered warm without a long wait. Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights is also a big plus. We made an entire evening of going out to eat!

Totally unimpressed. While our waiter was nice and attentive, he seemed overwhelmed from the get go. For example, when he mentioned the evenings special, he didn’t mention any sides. We asked if there was one, he said no. Lo and behold, it came with mashed potatoes. While they have a full bar, stick to beer or basic liquor drinks. I ordered a Tom Collins and it came out brown. The food was okay, nothing special. The vodka cavatappi was actually just a chunky marinara. Sadly, I doubt we’ll be going back.

Overall good experience. Waiters first night, I would have thought he would shadow someone else but he was on his own. Fish fry was good, thin breading, albeit a little salty. Steak was very good. Atmosphere is pleasant and overall a good experience. Would choose this place over Reefpoint with regard to overall food taste.

Nice atmosphere, server was personable and attentive. What will keep me from returning is the food. It's not bad, it's just not that good. I had their "pressure fried" chicken and it came out wayyyy too fast and was wayyyy too luke warm. I worked in a restaurant that boasted chicken, loved it when I was there, so I have a great reference for what is involved and the end product. The chicken I received last night was not fried at the time I ordered it, definitely reheated or just kept in a warming tray. Mashed potatoes were the same. I get that mashed are not "made to order", but Luke warm food is never good. The food gave you the feeling that they just really didn't care. Would definitely not order steaks or seafood here that have a $30+ price tag. There are better options for your hard earned money in Racine.

We went on a Saturday night, about 5:30ish. Got seated right away. Our server, D, was excellent. Friendly, informative, attentive. My husband had the prime rib special and I had the reverse ribeye. O.M.G!! The steaks were perfectly cooked and so tender, well seasoned. And the fresh vegetables were fantastic.
The drawbacks; we did feel a little rushed, the old fashioned was only okay and there was no bread served (although I don’t necessarily think the lack of bread was a bad thing) it certainly left more room for the delicious steaks!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant (not really a supper club though)
The prices are complimentary to the quality of the steaks.
We are looking forward to going back and trying other things on the menu. EXCELLENT!
It also has a patio with fire pit tables in the summer. There was also live music.

Food is was way below average however Andrea was absolutely amazing as a server. Drinks were also good. Mussels were small and lacking taste tuna salad was ok but literally no greens tuna was small and seemed precooked dressing was delicious….make sure you wasabi is actually on the side and not in the salad.Way over priced for what was received, however server and manager were amazing and discounted bill for food being under par.

Not gonna lie … went for a fish fry on Friday, loved it ! Still 5 stars however , it did say it came with bread a coleslaw and we received none . No big deal since those are pretty much fillers anyways . Had the chowder which was AMAZING ! It is now Tuesday and I could not stop thinking about that dang chowder ! Stopped in and got enough chowder ( plus extra) for lunch for the week and some smoked mahi mahi dip… amazing dip! What I like the most is the owners talk to the guests. On Friday we seen ( what we think ) were both owners stepping it up and helping their staff . I waitressed for over 20 years and I know that good staff comes from good owners . I’ve worked for people that didn’t help their staff when they struggled . Super stoked this place reopened and is amazing . Felt very welcomed both times by the staff and owners . Can’t wait to try more of their menu !

I expected a lot more from the newly renovated Chartroom!

Honestly, I would have given 4 or 5 stars, but when one person in our party wasn't satisfied with their order, we politely told our server. She said the menu was new, and they had just added the item to their menu and they appreciate the feedback The owner came over and instead of perhaps, offering to make them a different dish, he tried explaining why the menu item was not what they had expected. So, said person didn't finish their food and walked away hungry. Mind you, I dropped $150 for the three of us to have dinner on a Tuesday in RACINE. He could have offered a bread basket at least. What happened to "the customer is always right?"

To be completely unbiased, the filet mignon was one of the best I've had in a while, even if I did have to scrape off the overly seasoned layer of Kosher salt.

I'd go back for a drink in the summer because it's one of the few places on the water, but no rush to eat there again.

Great atmosphere, and overall good service- the staff was cheerful and though busy, still attentive. The food was good- nothing special (I've had better fish fry, but it was solid and I'd eat it again. The other time I went I got the Mac n cheese with chicken- the chicken tasted burnt, and overall it needed a little salt, but it wasn't bad). The drinks were quite good, and I heard their fried chicken was very tasty.

We have come 4 times to Chartroom so far. Service at the bar is been very good. The food is
Hit or miss. Crab legs were average last time. This time chicken wings were very dry, salad didn't taste fresh. 2nd time we had burger it was very good. I really want this place to do good. Being a boater we eat by the water a lot. I would love to see some yummy fried shrimp on the menu or a shrimp scampi. Great food will always be key to success.

First time going here..made reservations for 12. Food was absolutely excellent, service was impeccable, prices I felt were fair, as you get a ton of food. Our waitress was so attentive, and took excellent care of us! All the associates went out of their way to take care of us....and when we were getting to leave, this incredible young man came by, and helped me put my coat on! That made my week. He had the sweetest smile too! What a great way to end our evening! Will definitely go back, again and again!"

My family came here for the first time to try this place out. My mother and I ordered the salmon special-salmon tasted fishy and smelly. I was charged for sour cream and butter for my baked potato. My boyfriend and dad had gotten the ribeye steak and was very over cooked. Margaritas were just a mix where you couldn’t taste any alcohol. The downside was, this was a very expensive meal. For the overall quality, not worth the money. Quality needs to improve if they are to make it. Staff did not reflect the poor quality of food.

Super friendly service. The manager even brought us out some free appetizers. We had a party of 17 and I expected service to be slow because of the size of our party but it was not. Food came out just as fast as usual and they were very attentive. There was a musician that came on around 19:30 or so playing and singing. Good food and a full bar

2nd time in, the first time the Chartroom Chicken was hot, crispy and tasty. Notsomuch this time. It was clear it had been being held in a warmer, lukewarm and sorta soggy. Very disappointing. The leftovers were better at home when we crisped them up in the convection oven.

We decided to try the new Charthouse and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, although the chicken was a little too salty. Becky our server was wonderful, and the atmosphere is great. We will be back.
