The subs are soooo good. Staff is pretty cool too. The place is small and has gotten very crowded with some sketchy people. I recommend you get the food to go if you plan on going when theyre busy, it gets very crowded. They've even had to start having security at the entrances to card people. Used to be a very chill spot, has gotten VERY popular over the past few years.

love coming here, it’s been a few times now. as a vegan they also have some food options for me. got the veggie sandwich with no cheese etc and it had a lot of flavor just being veggies. bread is perfectly toasted. drinks are great, everything is worth your money. The employee service was pretty normal to what I expect out of a Cheba Hut. The food however didn’t hit quite right. In the past I’ve been blown away and fell deeply in love with the ak47 but every time I get it, it seems skimpier and less appealing. The first time got me hooked (borderline addicted) but based on this last one I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Dined in, and they bagged it for to go. We Googled for subs near our location, pulled up and said NO immediately because of how the outside looked. We sat outside looking for another place for subs, saw the foot traffic and said let's try it. When the door opened, the smell had us. It smelled AMAZING!!! The service was amazing. The staff was very attentive. Everything we ordered was simply wonderful. The garlic bread they use to make the subs was the best I've ever had. And to wash it down.... As this is an atypical sandwich shop you can’t find anywhere else, I had high expectations..to be fair it was Sunday night. I ordered the kali mist and the pakalolo in small size to take home. My biggest gripe is that by the time I got home in middleton, it was maybe 20 min and somehow the sub bread just got mushy. The construction of both subs was sloppy and the toppings would not stay in. Overall, the taste of both was good enough to finish. Its better than subway but not on par with firehouse. Its probably in the same tier as jimmy johns. I probably wont come back.

My friend was recommended to check this place out next time he was down here. So we decided to try it.

The location is easy to get to with two entrances. They have an expansive menu with options for almost anyone. It can be a bit overwhelming the first time but the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

I had the special "Grape Ape" chips and a beverage, Kool-aid...lol Phenomenal! Meatballs, Grape Jelly, BBQ, Bacon, Provolone, Jalapeno Cream Cheese, Jalapenos on Garlic Bread!! Messy yes, but well worth it!

Stopped in here for the first time after an appointment for my daughter. She is on the spectrum and went straight for the cookies before we in. The cashier (very tall guy with shorter hair I wish I got his name) was SO polite about it and was very attentive to our order especially when it came to my kiddo. The food was great. It takes a lot for me to ever give a bad review. But in this case, the chicken/ranch "White Widow" salad arrived without chicken or ranch dressing. Requested utensils were not included. Requested sides of peppers and horseradish were not included. Amounts of requested bacon and ham were tiny. I have no idea what went wrong, and would have happily handled privately with the business, as mistakes happen. But when I called, a recorded voice told me that the party I was trying to reach has no voice mail. Don't know what else to do but leave word here.

Terrible experience. My coworkers and I ordered a few sandwiches and garlic bites on night shift at the hospital through their app. DoorDash was scheduled to deliver our food at 10:45. The delivery time kept getting pushed back then the DoorDash employee reached out and informed me that the order was cancelled. I did not receive any confirmation of cancellation or refund from Cheba Hut. I had to leave work to drive to the restaurant to talk to an employee since they don’t have a working phone. They informed me that they were out of ingredients. The website should reflect this and not let someone order. Moral of the story, we did not get our food and I have not received a refund. I will never be ordering from ChebaHut again.

Cheba Hut is pretty darn amazeballs. I've visited several times. The bread is always soft, crispy. Toppings are aplenty. Prices are $9-16 for just a sub, but it's so worth it. Their desserts and sides they offer are myriad and seemingly good. I've had the meatballs twice, one flavor was better than the other. Their drink selection and drink quality is really on point.

They occasionally do live music. They regularly play choice music like Kendrick Lamar. I would like if they made a point of keeping the place cleaner if anything, but that's only because I love cheba Hut and if I didn't provide any critique here I would feel I'm doing them a disservice

I like the concept but the service at the bar was highly disappointing. The bartenders exchanged shifts both had nonchalant attitudes. They attended more to their coworkers than to me. After placing my order 30 mins goes past and I ask the bartender what’s the status and she tells me I need to ask them, my order was given away. Now I have to wait another 15 mins. At this point I’m ready to get more water and the next bartender doesn’t even look at me once. She walks past a couple of times and helps other people. Another employee offers me napkins and she still ignores me. I had to ask for my own water. After I’d spent $30 and patiently waited. She says she just got there and thought I was taken care of but I told her she ask. I don’t know if they come there high or get high while they’re there but honestly that’s not an excuse for poor customer service. And the food wasn’t even worth it
