I’ve dined here many times and always enjoy my experience, especially the food! Always delicious, unique and flavorful! I also appreciate their mocktails, as I don’t drink and often bring one of my young nephews or niece out for special “Aunt Mo” time. They like trying the specialty drinks too. The servers have always been friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

As someone from Eastern Europe, I found my experience at this restaurant quite frustrating. The dishes, which should have been familiar and comforting, were nothing like what I grew up with. For example, borscht, traditionally a rich meat-based soup, was served without any meat whatsoever. Shuba, a classic layered salad with herring, was instead reimagined as a tower of vegetables and salmon—completely missing the mark.
I did request the chef to come to my table, as it’s common in Eastern European culture for chefs to check in with diners and ensure everything is to their liking. Unfortunately, my request was ignored, and the chef never came out.
Additionally, the drinks were disappointing—a small amount of alcohol served with ice, which didn’t feel like anything special. On top of that, the prices were far too high for the quality of the food and experience.
I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Eastern European dining experience. It’s clear that the chef's approach doesn’t align with the traditional flavors and hospitality I expected.
Thank you for your response. I want to clarify that I was never rude during my visit and always made an effort to be polite in my interactions. If the manager was indeed available, I would have appreciated the opportunity to speak with them directly to address my concerns. I always strive for respectful communication and would have welcomed a conversation to resolve any issues I had at the time. I value your feedback and hope we can find a way to move forward in a positive direction.

Checked out a pop up Italian night, a very awesome experience. A large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Oysters, Caesar Salad, a large variety of entrees. All of the entrees could be vegetarian if preferred. The dessert options were flavorful, but the best choice would be the cheesecake. The atmosphere is a big city feeling in a small town

The food was awesome. We will be back as we enjoyed it that much. Service took awhile and we were not sure why as people who came in after us were long gone when we left. Just having to wait for our bill so long was the downfall. We were in such a hurry at that point that I did not notice we were charged for a wine that we did not have until we walked out and I looked closely. She forgot she had our credit card and we had to wait again for her to charge it.

I have recently eaten here three times this year, and I had reservations each visit. The first visit was great, we were seated and everything went smoothly. The second visit went smoothly as well, but they had ran out of a few items on their menu. (We had a later reservation that evening.) My most recent visit was not what I had come to expect, unfortunately. The food was great and once we got seated the wait staff was absolutely terrific. Thing was we weren't seated until almost 45 minutes after our reservation! When a spot opened up at the bar, some 20 minutes of our wait, we were excited to try one of the menus cocktails while we waited for our table. The bartenders looked at us, and I made a gesture to order, but none ever spoke to us and then avoided eye contact for the rest of our time seated at the bar. I did notice they helped the next group that were seated to the bar after us, so that put us off. The food has always been great! I just hope my next visit isn't met with neglectful bar staff, and my reservation is actually treated as a reservation.

Food overall was good. Service was very slow, drinks took probably 30 minutes to get. Staff seemed uninterested. Some staff members were eating food at the bar, which seemed inappropriate, as we waited for service. A GM would probably be a good touch to help things along as it’s a $100+ couples meal.

From the front of the house to the back, Leah and Cristian (plus their staff!) make every single guests' experience incredible!
We were lucky to get last minute seating on Saturday, last night of the Brick Oven Pizza menu and oh boy did we have a great time! The drinks were expertly crafted, from the Martinis to the Barkeep's Mystery drinks - we all enjoyed our cocktails. For dinner we chose the House and the Caesar Salads and found them both to be flavorful and crisp. Our brick oven pizza options were the Black & White and the Quack & Blue - oh my goodness! what incredible 'zas. The Black & White was vegetarian and had just the right amount of truffle oil to make it incredibly tasty. The Quack & Blue clearly shows that Chef really knows how to prepare and serve duck in a manner that keeps you coming back for more!
Thanks to the entire staff of Chef's ______ Kitchen for creating a wonderful evening for us, an impromptu birthday celebration, that reminds us of why we don't need to leave Point for great food!
Special shout out to Leah, from Mona, for accommodating us and for giving us that little bit of extra leeway with our daughter. You sure know how to make an evening special! xo

A group of friends and I sat at the bar and shared a range of dishes during the Mediterranean theme: lamb dolmas, Mediterranean cous cous, smoked trout stuffed artichoke hearts, falafel with pita, and a salmon (etc.) tart! Everything was delicious including the Mediterranean mule I sipped on. Very lovely atmosphere, not too busy or packed for a Friday night, which was nice.

Had the BBQ recently. They absolutely killed it! Pork and brisket were spot on. The sweet sauce had more of a spicy flavor but paired well with the meat. Sides were much higher quality than a typical BBQ joint, making it an excellent meal. Looking forward to my next visit!

I understood that this place is own by a chef and was serving Italian food, the lack of finnese and the explanation for some of the mishaps by the maitre "the cook is from the South" but no South of Italy, South Bayou area so he cooks the shrimp like he does when he boils crawfish!!!
Tomato bisque lack of smooth and silky texture unable to taste the tomato and the shellfish stock blended into a comforting soup, by no means a nice comforting tomato bisque. Cheesy garlic bread too garlicky. Bruschetta a bit grainy. Lasagna pasta dry, definitely dry.
Nice sweet marinara sauce though. Shrimp Primavera shrimp undeveined. I love coffee but the one available tasted intensely bitter or the batch was over roasted. Tiramisu a bit strong the touch of liquor. Waiter friendly and helpful. I've tried Italian food from different Italian regions and restaurants, unfortunately my dinning experience here was not the best. $$$-$$$$

Chef's Kitchen is Chef Christian's new rotating restaurant to allow him to change things up without opening new restaurant. The current yearly(? I don't know how long it will be) theme is Italian. The menu changes much like his other restaurants. There are seasonal salads, focacia bread pizzas, and other tasty openers. The main meals are pastas they make in house and they are so good. The homemade marinara you just want to eat it on garlic bread. They need to add garlic bread and marinara to the menu and I need to eat it all. They use fresh produce from their garden at Father Fats in many of the dishes (as the season permits). The staff here is very conscientious of food allergies. If you let them know they will work with you create a phenomenal meal that suits your dietary concerns. The service is excellent, as you might expect from one of Chef Christian's restaurants or at least as I have come to expect. They also have rotating signature cocktails. The Basita was a refreshing and complex drink. I really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. It is located in the location of the former El Jefe's and aside from missing the old Day of the Dead mural it was an awesome experience.

The appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip with French bread) was rather good.. We ordered our entrees, waitress failed to mention the salads arent included almost had to pay an extra 7 dollars for a ceasar salad..
Not a long wait for our food which was pleasant, but as I started eating it I noticed it was saltier then all he'll.. Switched plates with my dad, same thing.. Im pretty sure im having an msg buzz right now as im typing this which I didnt expect from a restaurant of such "caliber" the ingredients seemed whole and fresh so I dont get why they felt the need to salt the piss out of it.. But none the less they did
