I walked in for the first time today and I was greeted by a very sweet lady and she went over the menu with me. The restaurant is well kept and clean. I placed my order to go and in a very timely manner I received my order. I ordered the Chicago style hot dog and it was amazing, it reminded me of eating right outside Wrigley Field. We also ordered the McCormick hoagie and the Ford hoagie, they were absolutely delicious! It was my first time but it won't be my last time!

I first tried CHoH years ago when it was on my route to pick up daughter from school. Loved it then and I recently got a chance to come by again. Love it still. The Chicago dogs are delicious and the Hoagies even more so. The staff have never been anything but friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They are friendly and fantastic with our kids as well. I can not recommend eating here enough.

My husband had the Altgeld Garden Hoagie - see picture.
Very messy as a true hoagie should be.
Very delicious! Big portions. High quality ingredients. Staff friendly, willing to accommodate my special requests. My bun was toasted and his was not (as ordered). I think toasted is less messy and tastier.
Added Northside fries and a slice of chocolate cake. Total under $40. Will be back!! Great meal made to order.
After eating we agreed next time we are wanting a sandwich or any burger place we would eat Chicago House of Hoagies instead - much healthier and more filling. I ate half of mine saving the rest for later, he ate all of his and is very full. He said “If I am going to break my keto & have carbs - this sandwich is worth it!”

I managed a sub chain restaurant for years. (One of the freaky fast popular ones that people love and never associated with Jared) After decades there I really thought I never wanted a restaurant sandwich again. In town from Lake County Illinois to visit a family member and while obsessively searching for restaurants to check out, Chicago's House of Hoagies popped up. Love me a good sammich. I ordered the Block 13 minus hot girdinara because I'm lame. I also ordered regular fries, a can of Sprite and the walking banana pudding for dessert. The hoagie was one bite after another of delicious sloppy goodness and the bread magically held together until the last messy bite. My hands and face were covered in delicious drippy hoagie sauce and mayo. I made the mistake of not taking a before picture, but once you pick up your hoagie, you can't put it down. The hot crispy fries were perfectly seasoned with more pepper and less salt. I couldn't stop eating them. The can of Sprite was especially delicious on the scorching hot day. Get the walking banana pudding! Full of healthy potassium and sooooo friggin' good. I wish nothing but the best for this establishment and maybe another location...in Waukegan Illinois. 🤤

The interior is nice. They have many great snacks and drinks. But when I tried to order they wouldn't let me get my food!?!? My step daughter wanted a grilled cheese. She is 12, but she couldn't get it because it's only for the 0-8 age range. She is a kid. And i physically can not eat a full meal because of my stomach size. Got the 113th st, it was amazing! Very authentic Chicago food 🤌. The sandwich was larger than I expected. I did not need the combo with fries (south side style) but those were also awesome! Got some food here while my wife was tagging along. I ordered a sandwich and fries. My wife said she just wanted a couple of my fries. The woman taking our order said there was a “sharing fee”. Stopped in for lunch with my Dad. Absolutely delicious. I got a Garfield park hoagie and the toppings and portions were super generous. I also got a slice of coconut cake that was perfect and soft too. My dad got a Chicago hotdog that was the best he's had in years. I've driven past this place dozens of times and just never tried it. I figured it would be like the other "Chicago Style" joints. I was VERY wrong!!!! This took me deep into the roots of Chicago Style sandwiches.

I ordered the Clark Street Hoagie and it came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The hoagie was completely full so of toppings that it fell apart and became a salad half way through!😂 The service was amazing, the owners and I talked about how we would try any food at least once unless it was alive and still moving. First off, the owner is incredible! She truly captures the spirit of a cozy city style corner eatery. Very friendly, happy and inviting environment. You just don't get that kind of vibe from big chain restaurants.
The food... Wow! I always complain that my hoagies don't have enough ingredients on them. This will NOT be a problem at Chicago's! Mine was piled high with meat, veggies and sauces, it was a beautiful sight! By far the tastiest hoagie I have ever been blessed with.
The gourmet selection of fries was awesome. She offers all kinds of interesting combinations of sauces and spices. Definitely a must try. Ours were absolutely delicious and sizzling hot.

Amazing sandwiches and amazing service. Very fresh ingredients and so delicious. You won’t find another sandwich place like this in the fox valley area. It also has to be the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever seen. If I lived in Menasha, I’d be eating here every day. 👍

This place has absolutely amazing food! The owner and staff are so kind every time I go in. My kids are picky eaters and I brought them in for the first time, during a busy period and the staff were so patient and gracious answering questions. I went in last night to grab a sandwich right before they closed. After having a long and stressful work meeting that had gone an hour over the alloted time and feeling absolutely exhausted, their graciousness and energy after their own long work day, made my entire night better.

Everyone should absolutely give this place a try!

The minute me and my dad walked in we were greeted very nicely. She even gave us a run down of the menu and told us what's good, after we ordered she said there was some games we could play while we wait for our to go order and I was surprised because most places dont do that. The food is amazing and the atmosphere and people are very welcoming. I will definitely be returning no doubt in my mind.

Due to the prior great reviews, we gave this place a try. Absolutely fabulous! Hoagies were delicious and the fries are a must!! Would take these sandwiches over any other sandwich place. We now need to try the soup. Owners are so nice!!

I had been hearing about this place for a while and finally stopped to check it out. I'm really glad I did! The sandwich was AMAZING and the owner was really friendly. She shared that she named the sandwiches after the places that she lived in Chicago which I found really interesting. Thank you for bringing drool worthy sandwiches to Menasha!
