This restaurant doesn't have a parking lot. So it's on the street parking. A person with a wheelchair or walker won't be able to go to this restaurant. The entrance is narrow and it is a high step to get in the entrance. Everything else is amazing.

Nothing fancy... which was PERFECT! Good, homemade meal. Hash browns were amazing, biscuits and gravy delicious, and those pancakes - whew! Really, really good. Our waitress was THE BEST. It's so hard to find good wait staff anymore that earns a tip. She went above and beyond to interact with our kids, was attentive, made sure we were taken care of quickly, and was so much fun to chat with. Wish we had gotten her name because she'll keep the customers coming back to this place, and the employer should know! Great first experience.

My hubs and I stopped here to grab a quick bite. We were automatically seated even though it was busy which was nice. I got the ham and cheese with fries and a side salad and my hubs got the Philly cheese with fries. Both of the sammies were really good. Service was also pretty good. I gave this a 4 star because the salad was so basic. It was a hand full of the mixed lettuce you get in the grocery store in a bowl. No croutons, no cheese, no toms. It looked like their breakfast would be good too with big pancakes.

While the presence of kids was expected in a family restaurant, the boisterous behavior of the youngsters in the booth behind me added an unexpected twist to the ambiance. Their enthusiasm took a mischievous turn, involving the launching of french fries and turning around on the booth. Additionally, the cacophony from loud iPads blaring music videos about "skibity toilets" became a persistent soundtrack, occasionally testing my patience.

Fortunately, the arrival of the food shifted the focus back to the delightful breakfast awaiting me. The meal surpassed expectations, delivering a delicious and satisfying experience. The fair pricing and impeccable service further enhanced the overall positive impression, making it a perfect start to my day and road trip.

In retrospect, while the exuberant antics of the neighboring kids added a unique touch to my visit, the standout quality of the food and the attentive service at Chick-A-Dee's Family Restaurant overshadowed any momentary disruptions. We are New to the area and thought we would check out this place, our kids where growing restless as we just got out of the DMV, they knocked the apple juice all over the place, the kind waitress brought us some more napkins and some more apple juice. Lots of wait staff in this small and tight booth-filled seat-yourself restaurant, but others were offered menus who had arrived after us. Once that snafu was corrected, all went smoothly. Waitress was attentive and food came quickly. My veggie omelet was crammed with mushrooms and other veggies, but the cheese was only on top...same for hubbie, who had a cheese omelet (with side of bacon), his was just rolled up egg with nothing inside. Hash browns were good as well as the rye toast. Four selections of jelly, including my favorite orange marmalade and hubby enjoyed blackberry. Shared a tasty but very soft, easily-compressed cinnamon roll. With two coffees bill came to $33 with tax.
