China 1 is wonderful. I had selected pick up for our order when I wanted delivery. I called and they were able to change it to delivery and within no longer than 10 minutes our order was delivered. We always get excellent service with China 1 and there regular delivery drivers are wonderful. Keep up the great job!

The Mongolian beef sauce so intensely salty that it was not edible. I literally threw it in a strainer and rinsed it off! After that, the meat still had a powerful flavor that was too salty. Mongolian sauce is supposed to be sweet. The dough on my steamed potstickers was very thick, and the flavor of that meat mixture was overbearing on spice as well. I had a lot of dark meat in my General chicken order. I was very unhappy with my food. $50 down the drain.

Ordered take out. Ordered house special fried rice which was okay except to red for my liking. Ordered fried meat wontons to our surprise it was stuffed with sausage which was super salty and couldnt eat them. Crab rangoon was good. Ordered house special lo mein this was also super salty. We were unable to eat it because of the salt content in it. Overall will not be ordering from here again. Not worth the amount of money I just paid for it to be a total disappointment 😒 😪

Worst chinese food I've ever had.
Boneless ribs have some type of 'powder' on them, maybe corn starch. Lo mein noodles were orange, ORANGE, so was the fried rice.
The wontons in the wonton soup were slimy and the egg foo young was burnt.
Nothing tasted right, yuck.

To top it off, when I went to their website and hit order online a bunch of options came up, grub hub etc. So I went to the one that said china1oshkoshwi but apparently it is another company and they added money to each dish.

So in the end I paid more for the worst food.

This was a great first experience. This seems to be a very popular take out place. We ate in, and though the dining area is plain and the air conditioner was working very well. I can tell the majority of effort and expense is in the kitchen. Our cashier was polite and helpful, and the food that we ordered was Hot, very fresh and delicious. I ordered this the other night and it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken from my chicken and mushrooms was ALL FAT. It’s literally like they covered up the alleged chicken in sauce so you couldn’t tell till you bit into it. There was so little meat in the dish. I complained to Uber, but they couldn’t offer me a refund b/c the dish actually looked as described. It was SO gross though. It’s a shame b/c if it had been chicken, the dish itself was tasty (the mushrooms I mean) and the egg roll was also good, but the FAT made my main meal inedible. Don’t recommend!

The only Chinese restaurant in Oshkosh I can recommend, and honestly, it's a good one. Best lo mein I've ever had, and same goes for their brown sauce and a lot of their appetizers. Been eating their food since I was a kid, and it's just as good now as it was back then. Just make sure you order by phone, since their prices are much lower in-house and their staff is friendly. Oh, yeah- they also fill your takeout containers so full, they have to literally squeeze the lids on sometimes. You definitely get your money's worth, here.

Ordered the mapo tofu, it was good, but they added so much black pepper that it killed my appetite. I understand it's suppose to be spicy, but there are other, more authentic, ways to make a dish spicy, like chili oil. I feel like they just took a ladle full of black pepper and mixed it into the sauce. Never ordering off of their menu again. If you're that lazy to cook for your customers, get out the door!

This isn’t my first time here and the food is nasty. The general tso and spicy chicken tasted like pure peanut oil; the egg rolls crust was hard to chew; crab Rangoon’s were cold and the list goes on…. This place is a hole in the wall with the most amazing fried rice and just damn good food in general. What it lacks in aesthetics it makes up for in flavor. I walked in the other day when my wife was shopping at Duluth and got a small pork fried rice to go. It's the real authentic fried rice here, old rice that soaks up all the juices and flavor soaks into the rice and re-hydrates it. All the other places around here use fresh rice and it's bland and like an after-thought. China 1 has the best fried rice I've ever had in Wisconsin. If someone finds better fried rice around Oshkosh let me know because I sure haven't found any!

China 1 is very good! The hunan beef is especially good, with lots of fresh vegetables: mushrooms, broccoli, peppers and carrots, pea pods and water chestnuts and bits of carrot. My girls love the sweet and sour choices, which are fairly typical, and the General Tzo’s is better than average. The soups are good, although the egg drop is thicker than most.
