Saw sign on interstate saying china buffet exit 69 mile marker i believe. As you enter the establishment a faint pungent smell was detected. I ignored figured it was a certain food Aroma. But after my second serving i found my stomach feeling irritated. So went to restroom to exit my upset stomach. After i attempted to grab plate to entertain the idea of desert. I always grab plates from level 4 deep to avoid contaminated hands. To my surprised i found used disguared food stuck on my freshly cleaned plate. That was enough to say check please

Didn't find the food all that spectacular, it was ok, nothing great though. One piece of crispy chicken I had tasted a little off. Unless their buffet changes considerably from day to day, I doubt I'd try it again. The hot sweet and sour soup was ok, the egg drop soup was bland, as was most of what I tried. Had to add soya sauce to bring out some flavor in egg drop soup.

Don't know what it is about Chinese restaurants and their substandard bathroom facilities, this one was no exception.

I was deeply disappointed with the food quality at this Chinese buffet. The dishes tasted overly processed, with an unpleasant reliance on low-quality ingredients. The heavy use of seed oils, refined sugars, and what seemed like hormone-treated chicken, combined with additives like MSG and artificial food coloring, made the meal feel unhealthy and unappetizing. The overall experience left me concerned about the nutritional value and safety of the food. I won’t be returning, ascended, even for a complimentary meal. Today 08 05/25 I came to this buffet! For the first time I was carried away by the 4 stars it has but it is a fiasco. The menu is very poor, there is not much to choose from and apart from that the quality and the taste is terrible, only 2 fruits: apple and pineapple and even worse, the pineapple is canned and the drinks are charged separately. Very bad experience, I will not return.

Brought my family to the Dells and we love Chinese buffet food so naturally, we tried the Chinese buffet close to the Dells and had a horrible experience. See my separate review for that experience. We found this place 20 minutes away and so we decided to check it out. Bottom line is the food was good. The selection decent and the price was good. It had the typical four islands, two main one dessert and Jell-O and one salad bar. Service was polite and prompt. As I said, the price was decent being a little lower than your typical, but the drink was not included. Also, they did not add an automatic gratuity for my family of six which was a big plus. When my family comes back to the Dells, we will definitely come back to this restaurant.

I, in my 28 years of life, really like Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian, Care, and very American food, but without a shadow of a doubt, this was the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life. The service was terrible, they didn't even give me a soda refill, the food was disastrous, terrible, terrible. Meat on the buffet looked like it only had chicken, old food from the day before.

First time I've eaten here, food was pretty good, missing some of my faves. Cleanliness was ok, but it's a very old building, hard to get some of the old grime out, and im pretty picky when it comes cleanliness. Wasn't real happy, that the staff was talking loudly in there there native language across the room to each other, made it hard to hold a conversation, great price for all you can eat. I will go again.

Great food, great selections on the buffet, and very friendly staff. I stopped in on Memorial Day during a road trip for a quick meal. They had a pretty extensive variety of different food options, including quite a few seafood options. Everything I tried was tasty and fresh. My favorite was the fried flounder. The staff was friendly and service was quick. It's located next to a truck stop, so plenty of parking for big rigs and RVs.

Had a great experience at China Buffet! The food was delicious with a good variety, especially the different chicken dishes and sweets. I was pleasantly surprised to find sushi I really enjoyed, plus tasty jello and ice cream for dessert. The place is small but cozy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. Whether you're stopping by as a couple or with a larger group, it's a great spot to enjoy a satisfying meal! We were staying in a resort in Wisconsin dells and for my son's birthday he wanted a Chinese buffet. To our surprise, there was no Chinese buffet available on a weekday anywhere in the dells so we did some searching and this place came up. It wasn't too far from Wisconsin Dells ; it probably took us 10 to 15 minutes to get there and it was very easy to get to. It's clearly a popular destination for truck drivers to stop at since it is in a truck stop area. Me and my two kids went in and were greeted by a very kind hostess/server got a great table and headed straight to the buffet. The food was absolutely delicious and even though we came in late about 7:30 quarter to 8:00 The food was hot and fresh and they continued to bring out delicious fresh food. The environment was very relaxed and quiet which we kind of enjoyed. My kids and I left extremely satisfied and definitely got our money's worth. Next time we are in the dells we will make sure to come here again.

This place as far as chinese buffets go is phenomenal. Only complaint would be chicken on a stick. I would not eat that it is under marinated and dry. As for buffets it is probably in my top 20 across the country. The food is kept fresh and was changed out twice while I was eating. The general tso chicken is closer to orange chicken as it is under spiced but it is still very good. The crab rolls are not up to sushi standards but still are good for buffets actually the best I've ever had in any chinese buffet. Normally I say they are not worth wasting the rice they used to make them. Here however they are good. Rice was under seasoned for sushi rice but still good. For 15.99 a person the food is an absolute steal for quality. I would tell them easily to raise it to 17.99 and I would still eat here. 32.00 for 2 people is worth every penny in my opinion. The food was excellent for buffet standards.

I don’t normally leave reviews, however, walking in, we were a bit scared to eat the food after seeing how incredibly dirty the whole place was. Nothing was kept up or maintained. Fans had layers of dust caked on them and Lots of things were rusted out or had stains or were ripped. Bathrooms were also very run down. The one stall in the women’s bathroom didn’t even have a lock that worked, so I had to set my backpack by the door in case someone tried to come into my stall.

There was also no music which just made the atmosphere a bit awkward and uncomfortable for everyone.

The food tasted ok; however, I questioned the safety of it after seeing the cleanliness of the entire restaurant.

Staff was very friendly and kind. But this place really needs a remodel and a deep clean. I doubt it’s up to health code. 😷

The food was ok. There were some food dishes that were lower quality than others, some hot food was cold. There were a lot of imperfections with the food quality. Wasn’t very appealing. The service was decent, they made sure you were take care of. But the one thing that really stood out was the unbelievable dirtiness of the restrooms and restaurant. There were many chairs and booths with large rips in them, the floors were filthy, and it was just a very big lack of cleanliness altogether. Can’t say I’m surprised, I expect there to be imperfections in restaurants, however, this was just terrible.
