Unfortunately the worst Chinese Takeout I've ever had, very disappointed. The crab rangoon was not cooked all the way, the wrap was chewy and I had to finish cooking it in my oven at home 🥲 The cashew chicken tasted like the sauce had spoiled, it just didn't taste good at all the cashews were too soft also. The teriyaki chicken appetizer was a bit dry. The experience ordering was not pleasant either, I was the only one in the building and the man at the counter made me feel rushed to complete my order. Really bad first experience and won't be returning.

We got the pad Thai, mooshoo beef, teriyaki chicken, and governor's chicken.
The teriyaki is a definite winner, we love that it comes with 6 which is 2 more than other places for the same price.
The mooshoo beef was amazing, I really enjoyed it, as I've gotten mooshoo and other places and this met my cravings expectations.
My boyfriend liked the governor's chicken more than the mooshoo.

Sadly the pad Thai was not good at all. It didn't resemble pad thai I've ever had, the noodles were very large and flat, everything was bland and unflavored, the whole thing was a disappointment and went in the trash after one bite. Idk if we accidentally got the wrong dish but I definitely would not get the pad thai from here again.

I ordered takeout, so please take the service and atmosphere ratings with a grain of salt.

The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. No evidence of egg in the shrimp fried rice, minimal vegetables, uniformly yellowish rice grains (no telling what the accounted for that), and that great wok hei flavor was nowhere to be found. Basically, it resembled something that had been made in a rice cooker and scooped out. The hot and sour soup was kind of watery and didn't have many vegetables. So, all in all, not bad food but really not what we were hoping for.

This place is so good we get it delivered via Uber Eats from Madison to Edgerton. The food is always phenomenal and delicious even though it takes 45 minutes to an hour to get to us, and it still impresses each time. The egg rolls are huge and properly cooked. The chicken on a stick is massive and just mouthwatering. The BBQ boneless spare ribs are always soft and tender and sauced perfectly. The dumplings, fries or steamed, are phenomenal. One item they have that is just okay for me is their pork lo mein, but even that is still delicious. The one thing they make I don't care for is still ridiculously delicious. That's this place. It's amazing. 10/10. We love you, China Inn.

I have missed this place! I don’t live in the area anymore, but I made it a point to get dinner here tonight since I am visiting. My chicken egg foo young was just as amazing as I remember. The steamed dumplings were huge and had better flavor than most! My chicken egg roll was very well filled, it was super crispy and it was big compared to many as well. I wish there was a place this good close to where I live now. I had to wait for a few minutes for my food because I was early…they gave me free almond cookies while I waited. It was very sweet. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

I’ve never ever seen fried teriyaki chicken on a stick.. yet this place does that and there was hardly any flavor. The fried rice had zero flavor. And the pad Thai?! Not even close to what pad Thai is supposed to be. Wrong type of noodles, no peanuts and he definitely didn’t taste like pad Thai sauce. No idea how this place has 4 stars. Never going back

Ordered pickup for the first time from China Inn in person, staff was kind, service was super fast (estimated 15 min but was probably 10 minutes or a little less). Best in the area, I love coming here! I always place asap orders and pick up in their drive thru, and I only live 6 minutes away. The orders are always done when I get there (or within a few minutes of my arriving) and food is always hot and delicious. If you go inside, their kitchen is much cleaner than many other places in town. Never had an incorrect or disappointing meal, and they have really generous portions too.

They Racist I gave the owner $100 bill he don't even look at it he assumed it was fake he kept it and demanded and other types of payment I gave him again other $100 bill and he put it up to look at it he immediately called police I also called police because he refused to give me my $200 bills back. When the police arrived he give them my $200 bills and the police look at and immediately handed me my money back and told me to go spent my money at different places that will treat me right and he offered me free food according the police and i never accepted it. I was given a police case number incase I want to pursue it farther I never did I could have sued them but I'm not money hungry I will let God deal with it..

How does this place have 4 stars? Just got the kung pao beef and it should be called the kung pao randomly assorted vegetables. Flavor is generic at best and there are no red chili peppers in it. I think there is some beef in it. I hate to talk poorly about a small business but if I’m doing to pay $11 for a meal, it needs to be at least somewhat edible. I couldn’t even tolerate this enough to get full and ended up tossing it out. Doing one star simply to offset all the inaccurate five stars. Average cheap hastily made Chinese food.

I eat here often. In the past it was because of convenience. The past two years it has been because of the food. Recently, it has been for the SERVICE!

I have had 40+ orders of chicken and broccoli. From lunch to combo, to dinner. Out of that many times there has been 3 orders that were messed up. Never because of taste, just incorrect or not right sauce.

I come out of my way now to order from China inn because of the quality of food and the excellent customer service. I want to make a special note tation for BING.

Bing knew I came in often and when I mentioned I had a small problem with my past order, he made it up to me right away.

The young man is good. I think I remember seeing him wrapping silverware in napkins when he was really little. He likes Acura/Hondas too.

I have never ordered food from China Inn but I did last night because we were in the neighborhood. I ordered 4 different entrees and they all were excellent! The pickup up was ready in 15 minutes and was great! We like spicy food and checked that box on the online order and it was just how we liked it. I actually stopped here just to get some of those fried donuts, but the food looked very appetizing. I was was there fairly late, but even in that context it doesn't look like they're really set up to sit down and eat, so bear in mind this is your traditional takeout type Chinese food. We were traveling back from Wisconsin Dells and wanted some Chinese. This is a tiny bit off the highway - about 4 miles, but their food is awesome. We have three kids and we went pretty plain - beef and broccoli, orange chicken, pork lo mien and chicken teriyaki sticks. We waited a short bit for them to cook it up and it was nice and hot when served. Deliciously made. Didn't need a take-home box because everything was consumed! Highly recommend this place. My only caution, don't make up your mind about the place when you walk in. It's a little dated - but really - the food makes up for it!
