Ran out of their saturday special (prime rib) by 7pm. Also were out of the sirloin options. Ordered 4 steaks among us, 2 tenderloins and 2 ribeyes. All ordered either rare or med. rare. Both ribeyes came well done. Sent one back, and was replaced with a RAW inedible barely seared steak. Tenderloins were *ok* according to the 2 who ordered them.

Salad bar and everything else were fine, but untill they get their steaks/cooking method figured out, I guess I'll stick to the chicken or have a sandwich.

Update 7/25, heard there were new owners so we went to try again.The quality is even lower and it’s obvious that the staff are very poorly trained. Done! Boasted potatoes were cooked days ago and the broasted chicken was inedible because of the salt level.

Yuck. This restaurant used to have a great salad bar and reasonable prices. All that has changed. Will not be returning. Salad bar is overpriced and most items are saturated in dressing. Broasted chicken and French onion soup were overly salty. Fine dining prices with a dark and gloomy bar/grill atmosphere.

Great place to stop for some delicious eats. The friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Add the salad bar to your meal... lots of tasty options are available. Wash it all down with a beer, and you're good to go.

We stopped for New Year's brunch today. The Brunch Bar was a third of what it used to be and the price over doubled for two people we paid $85 basically to have a chicken dinner . They only had chicken sirloin tips were very tough couldn't even cut them with knife. We will never be back again

We were a party of 11 and were seated at exactly at the time of our reservation. The old fashions were as good as I remembered. We had several different dishes and all were good. We had cheese nuggets, crab Rangoon's, sirloin (medium), tenderloin and shrimp, ribeye, haddock sandwich, cheeseburger, salmon and perch. The salad bar had homemade ranch, homemade pasta salads, pickled beets, herring and my favorite salad toppings (eggs, peas, sunflower seeds and cottage cheese).

Warm welcome from the Hostess. The service was great. Salad bar selections were very nice. Cole slaw was above average in flavor. Deep fried all you can eat cod above average. My wife's steak was again above average. It was a pleasant experience for us on our first visit.

I have passed Chissy's for the last 7 years, since moving to the area. I kept saying I'd go there for dinner some time. I finally made it there tonight, super excited, because I like trying new places. I will continue to pass it for the rest of my life, without ever entering again. First, it smells very musty upon entering, it does not smell like food is being cooked there. Second, the food was astronomically priced. Third, the food was absolutely terrible. If the food tasted half-way decent I wouldn't have been as upset about the price. For a party of 3 people to all take 1 bite of their food (all different items), and look up at each other in digust, really is telling. The steak definitely couldn't have actually been beef, it was very questionable. The ribs tasted like the meat had rotted. I do have to say, the waitress was nice and attentive. Sorry, but I would never recommend this place to anyone.

They advertised brunch, but there was no breakfast food, and there were limited options as well besides.
Just broasted chicken, beef tips, ham, mashed potatoes and canned corn. Salad bar was also very limited. The poppyseed torte wasn't bad though...

We were seated in not the greatest spot.
It was practically against the wall, and in the path of everyone being seated, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience.
The staff was very friendly, the service was great.
It was nothing against them at all, but the food really just was very bland, and not good tasting. There was something weird in the mashed potatoes too. Very disappointing honestly.

Wonderful food as always!! Excellent salad bar! The only thing I think is ridiculous is the price to add mushrooms & onions to a steak costs 1/2 the price of the steak. Also, could use updating soon... clean but definitely dated. Otherwise, great place & fantastic service. BEST OLD FASHIONEDS EVER!!! We had the Ribs & Perch. Fall-off-the-bone good Rack of Ribs!! Perch done to perfection. Can't say enough good things about the food & service!!!

OMG. I'd start with the hostess, told us a 45 min wait, yet table after table after table wide open, makes one think they do that to make you spend at the bar. But we agreed, and we waited. The bar, the bartender was as friendly as a moldy piece of cheese, soda was flat and watered down, weak drinks, yet an expensive bloody Mary and only came with a pickle, had to ask for more garnishments. Appetizers, breaded califlower was acceptable, Spinach and artichoke dip was running, not very good, chips okay. Now onto the meal, after an hour wait, more waiting once at the table, spider webs and a very dirty table, three of the four of us had salad bar, which wasn't very stocked, cold vegetable soup, etc. I had the $30 Walleye, ate one bite, bones and the worse taste of fish ever, couldn't eat that, baked potatoe was excellent, daughter n law's steak was charred on the outside, raw in the center, asked for a new one, they basically brought back out the same one after cooking it even more, at least hers tasted like a steak, somewhat, son's $34 sirloin steak, we're not even sure what kinda meat that was, but it didn't even taste like steak, let alone a human consumable steak, so gross, his boasted potatoes were okay, wife's shrimp tasted fishy as well, never had breaded shrimp taste like that, but her boasted potatoes were empty, lol
Overcooked. Needless to say, for $200+, we'll never return, nor would I ever recommend. I would avoid the place by all means possible, worse food I've had in years. For what we were charged. Unbelievable Ugh

I was there as part of a group of eight. The service was excellent. The salad bar was great. I had the tenderloin and it was delicious. Other members of the party also liked their meals. Some places have an issue with splitting the bill, but that isn't the case here.

Our first time here wasn't sure what to order everything was quite pricey !! I ordered the sweet brandy old fashioned it was good but not the best I've had and we ordered the Fiesta jalapeno poppers took a long time to get them then we started eating them only to realize they were plain cream cheese poppers we asked the only waitress in the restaurant about this she got quite snippy and said she was not made aware of them being out of them and this is all we have I understand being out of items these days but then don't put on your menu hand breaded chili cream cheese poppers when actually they are frozen store bought poppers at high prices $12.95 to be exact needless to say the bar was hopping and if we ever come back we will most likely sit there as they also have specials only if you sit at the bar hahahaha

This place needs serious help. I understand needing to appeal to an older crowd, but this place is seriously lacking in any form of cleanliness. We paid for but didn't eat any of our food and opted to throw it away when we got home. The bartender was also less than desirable because she didn't ask us what we wanted but opted to walk up to us and stare at us saying nothing instead. You could get sick eating here.

We held our 50th Wedding Anniversary party at Chissy's last night. My wife has been working on this for the better part of a year. Communication with the restaurant has been excellent. They are great people to work with. The facility was great. We had plenty of room for our 30 guests and the food was outstanding. We had broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, whole kernel corn and tenderloin tips. The chicken and the tips were the best I've ever had. I highly recommend Chissy's for your gatherings.

I'm kinda confused on how expensive this place has become. Its probably been 10 years since I've been here. No updates to the property. Hasn't changed since day 1. But then my bill was the highest than any other supper club in the area. Individually charged for cans of soda, so I could have had a full 12 pack for the price charged. Wasn't told. Its hard to find a salad bar now a-days, but very limited on add-ons to your salad. Should have been a $25 dinner, but was more than double. Everything did taste well, and of course my company was great, but will be scoping every price out on the menu if I decide to return.

I took a group from work out to eat as a thank you for their hard work from last year. The waitress did a great job for our group of eight. I had reserved for 11, however, with the snow and covid not everyone made it. We all enjoyed three appetizers with a chicken tender left. The food was melt-in-your-mouth delicious 😋! Two of us had prime rib, another two had other steaks, and one person had fish. I thought the tab was reasonable, let's say less than I expected as I bought a round of drinks as well. Thanks, Chissy's for a great meal!! I recommend them and will return.

Went here for the first time on a Friday and thought it was good! We had a group of 4 and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table which wasn’t bad at all. There was room at the bar so we had some drinks, the old fashions were good. The restaurant has a very old dark supper club vibe. You place your order with your waitress while your waiting for the table which is nice because then your food comes fast but the hostess should have told us that because we didn’t know to look at the menu. The bartender and our waitress both were nice and the service was great. The salad bar was good everything you would expect it to have! Clam chowder was yummy. We had AYCE pollock and shrimp with french fries and broasted potato(potato wedges) which was all average but large portions we didn’t need to order more. The broasted chicken dinner was very good and the german potato salad was one of the best we’ve ever had. The prices were amazing! Overall we had a nice dinner and would go again!

We had a group dinner there recently. It is a great place to bring a larger group. This restaurant is an old style supper club. The menu is meat, meat and more meat... You won't find pasta or vegetarian options. Tons of appetizers, sandwiches and beef, pork, chicken and fish options. They still have a salad bar and those cracker breadstick baskets on each table. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our waitress was amazing!! The bar is well stocked with very knowledgeable bartenders....just not super friendly ones. You will feel like you are back in the 70's and 80's while there, but sometimes that is exactly what you are wanting.

Bad bar food at fine dining prices. Steaks over priced, If you want mushrooms and onions on it it's 7.95 extra, Really. Ended up getting a waldo burger, as i was not going to pay 2.00 for a slice of cheese. Paid extra .50 for fried onions that were not even caramelized, and burger was dry and over cooked. Wife's burger was also over cooked.

I’ve passed by this place for years without stopping in and finally decided to. They had my favorite beer on tap served in chilled mugs, a good salad bar and the best steak I’ve eaten out in a long time. Most places overdo it on the spices probably trying to cover up a poor quality steak. These folks just let the flavor of their quality steak satisfy the steak lover. Great job! I’ll be back...

It's an excellent place. They let me park on mothers day weekend, 2021,met one of the owners of 45 years strong. She told me her employees have been here since day one up to 35 and ago! The food was amazing! The old timers atmosphere is incredible! The folks are country, so they are real... Great conversation with locals... I'm dedicated and already pin dropped on maps! I dive a big truck and it's so very nice to find a comfortable place to stay for a minute... This is the place...
