It was crowded but our food came out at a reasonable time. Crab dip is cold but comes with hot slices of oiled small bread. Very good and good portion. All you can eat haddock (broiled) with butter was very good, sirloin steak(10oz) was very good , I added mushrooms also very good. Salad is a side and extra, simple but good, dinner rolls fresh, soft, warm and very good, coffee good, waitress very good, timing was very good. Definitely will go back!

Visiting Wi, knowing they are famous for supper clubs we sought out Cimaroli’s after driving to Ishnala and being told the wait was 4.5 hours. So grateful we were redirected. Decided to try Cimaroli's for a birthday dinner from a short list that my partner gave me and I'm glad I did. From the service to the food everything was excellent. They dont do reservations it is first come first served here so if it's busy there might be a wait we were dining on a Tuesday and we got there at 5pm an hour after they open at 4pm so we were seated immediately. As they were taking us to our table we noticed they had a guitarist in the bar playing and there was also music playing in the restaurant but softly enough to not bother a conversation. Our server whose name was Colan I believe but I am very bad with names so sorry to him if that's not correct was there very quickly with the menus and to take our drink orders we decided on a Coke and a house Brandy old fashioned sweet. As we waited for the drinks we decided not to get an appetizer but to just go with dinner. When Colan returned we ordered, she decided to get the 10oz. Flat iron steak with a baked potato and the house salad with blue cheese dressing and I chose the full rack of ribs with the Italian potatoes and a bowl of vegetable beef soup. By the way the ribs are a Tues. Wed. Thurs. special. Our server brought our soup and salad which were both great she said the salad was cold and crisp and the dressing was very good with plenty of chunks of blue cheese in it my soup equally as good with a great beefy broth nice mix of veggies and several nice pieces of beef. Our entrees were brought out as we were finishing our soup and they were both excellent. Her flat iron steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and was tender and had great flavor i was told and the baked potato was perfectly baked. My ribs were outstanding with a very good sauce and cooked to fall off the bone tenderness which is what I like (Thank you Colan for the recommendation). If you like to fight with your ribs a bit these might not be for you but i dont so they were perfect. As we were finishing our entrees our server came over and as he was removing a couple of plates asked if we would be interested in dessert i said well I hadn't seen dessert on the menu he said oh yes they have dessert if I was interested he would bring the choices out to show us we were and he did. I will spoil it for anyone who hasn't been here and who might come and enjoy Cimaroli's but the choices were varied and all looked good I chose the chocolate cake with whipped cream and it was the perfect ending to a perfect birthday dinner. Thank you to my better half for the choices and for a great birthday meal.

Cimarolis is absolutely fantastic. I have been here many times and I have never had a bad meal or bad service. It is kind d of fun, you are driving out in the middle of nowhere and then "boom" a great supper club.

There are expensive places like ishnala in the dells but it does not have better food or better service. Cimarollis prices are amazing. $5 old fashioneds great appetizers. LOVE the crab dip. The carrot cake for dessert is my favorite.
BEWARE: It is super easy to overeat here. Pace yourself. Expect to walk out in a "food coma" at the end. Try the blackberry old fashioned. Yum! Very delicious!

If in the dells it is beyond worth the drive out. The wait at the other places does not exist here. If you have to wait, you get $5 old fashioneds. Just terrible!

4 old timers, had a outstanding evening at Cimaroli's, Saturday ,starting at 4:30PM. At door we greeted by a friendly male host that really made us feel like Rock Stars. Got us a reservation 5:45. As usual the bar nearly full, but able to secure a table for 4. The Bar tenders are there to serve you ASAP with little to no small talk ( they are busy). Drinks are very good. As for the waitstaff our server (Rose Ann) ,she is very special, and works tail off. Now the food ,WOW!. All four meals were HOT, and tasted great. When out to dine,and its great food ,super service who care the price.

We arrived around 4:30 on a Saturday and were able to be seated for dinner immediately, but we opted to have a drink first at the bar. There were open spots at the bar, the bartenders were energetic and made a great drink (Manhattan). Our server (I believe Veronica) was friendly, helpful, and timed things perfectly. We ordered escargot (the best I’ve had) and bone-in rib eye. The chef/cook cooked our steaks perfectly. Normally, when we say rare, we are served our steaks overdone, but whoever cooked our steaks knew what they were doing and cooked it rare. The busser did a great job too; this did not go unnoticed. Everyone working here seemed happy to be there, and everyone flowed together as a team!

Maybe not as good as a wine selection, nor oysters, but the price is good, the crowd is down to earth and the steak is delicious. Ate a 32 oz prime rib for 50 bucks. Perfection. The drive home to Milwaukee was challenging.

You can't go wrong with a $5 Old Fashioned! The complimentary bread and butter were delightful, while the cheese curds earned a solid 4 out of 5.

The steak and shrimp were both outstanding, with the garlic butter elevating the flavors perfectly. While it may not quite rival the likes of Del Bar or Fields, it still offers excellent value for a delicious steak. In comparison, the shrimp surpassed that of Mariners, though it falls short of the high standards set by Fields and Del Bar, in my opinion.

Do not miss the chocolate cake and tiramisu—they are absolute must-tries!

All in all, this was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to any supper club enthusiasts!

My family and I love this place—we come to Cimaroli’s every time we visit Wisconsin, and the food is always good. It’s a tradition for us, and we truly enjoy the experience overall.

However, during our most recent visit, something concerning happened. My 7-year-old son accidentally burned his chin on one of the hot plates. The waitress did mention that the plates were hot, but unfortunately, by the time I reached him (we were seated across from each other), he was already crying and had burned himself.

For safety reasons, I’d strongly recommend not placing hot, steaming plates directly in front of young children—especially those seven and under. A small adjustment could help prevent injuries like this in the future.

We’ll definitely be back, but I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for other families.

Stopped here on the way home from "Up North". I was kinda hoping the food was better after hearing the rave review of a regular diner in the lobby. The steak was very good. Well cooked and juicy. Went to Cimaroli's to celebrate my wife's birthday this evening. We live over 50 miles away so we don't get there as often as we like. Maybe 2 to 3 times a year. We always had great experiences in the past. This evening was not good and we left quite disappointed. It was a busy night and we expected that and we are normally very patient. After we were seated no one waited on our table for more than 20 minutes. Not even an acknowledgement. We were about to leave till we were approached by a waitress. We ordered our drinks and food and received both in a reasonable amount of time. I had a cocktail and all you can eat fish. I finished my drink and dinner and I usually have 2 drinks with my dinner. But tonight I was not asked if I needed another drink or if I wanted more fish, I should mention a fair amount of time went by and I really wanted more fish because the portion was small, and another drink. In the past the service was outstanding and I never had to wait long for a drink or if I wanted more fish. But tonight was not good and we left very disappointed. When paying the cashier I was never asked how the meal was. I should have just told them I was extremely disappointed with the service but felt with a packed restaurant my voice didn't matter. I am willing to give it another chance but it's a long drive to get disappointed. Just do better.

At our table we waited at least ten minutes to be acknowledged and that started a very long night. Once we finally (finally!) got to order it was at least 45 more minutes. Meanwhile a manager sat with someone they knew across from us. They ordered and waited just 20 minutes.

We went 20 minutes to see our server after getting our food. When she dropped off our food I asked for ketchup. She acknowledged that and went away. Came back to a table near us to start serving them while I sat still waiting for ketchup to be able to eat my food.

It just was frustrating. The entire night was frustrating. When you go there I guess you're going there for the entire evening. Don't have anything else planned because you won't make it. We won't be back.

They made it right by taking mine off the bill. The Italian potatoes were fantastic too but I never tasted the steak. After 2.5 hours, we finally left. Made me sad since much of the other parts of the meal were good but we had to wait so long it just wasn't worth it. Would try again some time but not from the area. Just ask your cooks to do better!

We had a table of 6. All had the flat iron steak they're known for. Super expensive and just mediocre. It was mealy. I had chicken with mushrooms onions and broccoli. Everything was super garlicky. The broccoli was not cooked enough and the onions were tough. We also had us cargo which was covered in a thick cheese. The spinach dip was pretty good. And the service was excellent. The atmosphere was extremely loud. We met with family halfway to catch up and could not even talk to each other. This was my 2nd time coming here. The first time here we also had a bad experience, but this was where my mom wanted to go for her birthday, so I obviously obliged. First off, let me say that the food was decent and the waitress did a good job. However even the most amazing meal and experience can be easy ruined by bad service at checkout. At Cimaroli’s you must pay at the register on your way out. This is where everything (again) went bad. I handed over the bill and the credit card. The first guy was having issues ringing us out, but didn’t care to explain, handed the bill to another girl, and decided to seat someone. The next girl also was having issues, so she decided to have an older lady help her. After being at the register now for over 5 minutes, I politely asked what the issue was. “The amount on the bill isn’t the same to what we are getting on the register” is what I was told as they ran the credit card. Then the receipt is handed over and I see that I have been over charged significantly. I obviously say that the amount isn’t right and without any explanation the girl and older woman just say, well that’s what comes up in the register. Ok, so explain to me why you jack up the price when I come to the register. “Well, our calculators sometimes don’t add up right.” Ok, that’s the worst excuse I’ve ever heard… how about you ask the waitress why I was given a bill that has listed all our meals correctly and has a total amount circled at the bottom. I couldn’t see that this wasn’t getting anywhere as they continued to treat me like an idiot, so I simply say “I was handed a bill for $134, I am baying a bill for $134 unless you can explain otherwise”. She then asked “Ok, so do you want money back?” I said yes, If I’m handed a bill for $134 I’m not paying a jacked up price without any explanation. The difference was settled, but my meal and experience was destroyed a 2nd time.

Ok, so why did my 1st experience here go bad? Well, it was busy and our buzzer hadn’t gone off for a long time. We continued to watch other groups of all different sizes get sat before us. I was a manger myself at a similar restaurant and know mistakes can happen, so I simply went to the desk and explained the situation. I was told that they called us several times, but we never came (our name was even crossed out on the list). Here’s the issue though, how can 7 of us standing/sitting in the lobby and 2 at the bar never hear our name called or notice the buzzer? Whatever, let’s eat. Again the meals were decent and the service by the waitress was good. Now time to checkout…. It was still busy. I was behind 3 people waiting to pay their bill. The 3 people paid their bills and I was next… but for some reason 2 people walk up beside me to pay their bills. The same old lady looked up after cashing the last person out and I politely went to hand my credit card/bill to her. You would have thought I was being a complete jerk the way she looked at me and then said “Umm you can just wait your turn!” To which I said, well I have been waiting and these two people next to me had just walked up. She didn’t care, she cashed both of them out first then continued to give me an attitude saying I need to be more patient! First off I was not only patient to get in, but I waited in the proper line to pay and was treated like a second rate citizen when it finally came time for me to pay. Anyway, 15 minutes it took to pay the bill and again my experience was ruined.

I will never come back to this place again!

I highly recommend avoiding this place and going to The Dell Bar. They never disappoint and make this place look like Dennys.

My only complaint is I didn’t take pictures before we ate. The onion loaf was to die for, the salad was fresh and a good portion. The Flat Iron steak was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. So much flavor, cooked perfectly, and extremely tender. First time dining here but will not be the last. Absolutely excellent!

Great food, but a touch on the expensive side. And by a touch I mean like a kick in the pants, specifically in the wallet.

But this is one of those places for a special dinner.

The steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty, but being that your meat comes with a choice of potato everything else is an add-on you can easily exceed 30-40-50 dollars per person.

I've only been here once, but I will go back say for an anniversary or birthday.

$4 Old Fashioned drinks are worth the price of admission...but be careful not to have too many while you wait 🥴

Our group of six ate at Cimaroli's Supper Club Sunday night. The ambiance was good, the service was great, the food was tasty and reasonable. The location was in a stretch of fields between Portage and the Dells. It was dark when we arrived, but the lights made a great beacon. A large parking lot full of cars greeted us. Cimaroli's can accommodate numerous guests with multiple rooms, and we were seated by the hostess immediately.

Our server was friendly and cheerful. She took our drink orders. Drink prices seemed reasonable and once they arrived were well made. Old Fashioneds and ice-cream drinks just as you would expect from a Wisconsin Supper Club.

Our server took our appetizer and dinner orders and brought dinner rolls. Nothing particularly special about these. (I miss the days where Supper Clubs served relish trays or cheese and cracker baskets.) Our group ordered Clam Strips, Escargot, and Mozzarella sticks. The clams were lightly breaded and plentiful, the snails buttery and garlicky, and the mozzarella melted and chewy. Successful appetizers all around.

Most of our group had the flat iron steak for dinner with sauteed mushrooms or onions. I had frog-legs and fries. I was pleased with the proportion of frog-legs and enjoyed the light almost tempura like batter. The fries were crispy and flavorful. The group all thought the steaks were tasty though one complained it was undercooked. The mushrooms were a big hit.

Cimaroli's is a good value and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Not sure I would make the drive up from Madison again unless I had additional business there.

I'm a musician who got the opportunity to play here with Kelly Long. It was awesome. The staff was so friendly, the bar is stocked with great choices, the food is top notch, the patrons were awesome. Our food was PHENOMINAL, however the old fashions had no taste to them. I watched the bartender as he was making them and the point of a muddler is to muddle.... not stir. I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of cherry/orange in an old fashion, so I was glad to see sugar and bitters.... but barely any bitters, way too much sugar, and WAY too much booze.

The old fashions that we had were 80% booze, which is fine if you like them that way. Personally, I do not. I prefer a bit of flavor, and they had zero.

Overall, our service was amazing, however I would not recommend the "famous $4 old fashions", which is very sad because Supper Clubs are supposed to have killer old fashions :(

Everyone seemed happy with their meal but not so much with the service. Table of 7, seated us outside which we were fine with except at 2 different tables that they would not let us put together the tables together to visit during the meal. The hostess that seated us knew we were waiting on 2 more people, 2 minutes away. Another hostess came to our table, realized we were waiting and was very rude! We thought she was going to ask us to get up until everyone had arrived. Apparently they don’t seat people until the entire party has arrived. So why would we be seated when we told them 2 more were on their way? We had 3 different servers before they decided who would take our drink order. Also received our checks before everyone was finished eating. In my opinion, clear plates, ask if anyone is interested in dessert or after dinner drinks and then the dinner check. Food was good but service definitely was not.

Our favorite supper club! Start with an Old Fashioned, followed by an excellent dinner. Flat Iron steaks are a great choice. We've also tried many other items and have enjoyed them all. My husband really likes the option of having acorn squash as a side.
