If I get my pick for brunch it's here. I appreciate their flexibility. They have low carb options for sides of I'm needing to keep that low for the day (cottage cheese instead of toast!). Everything is delicious. The ham off the bone eggs Benedict is sublime. I wish I could eat the sweet stuff because my mom usually gets a waffle and they look so good!

Food is always good! And usually the service is too. Lately though, the foods taking longer then normal. Today my wife and I waited an hour and a half for our food! The waitress was flirting with guys at a table for a long time. It was very disappointing and the food was cold! This was my only bad experience here, normally everything's spot on or at least close too.

10/10 breakast experience! Well worth the 20 minute wait for a table. The swedish pancakes are delicious and melt in your mouth, and the special butter they come with adds some savory richness. The poppyseed French toast is also a must try! Everything was cooked perfectly. Huge portions and fair prices! Wish I lived in the area because I'd go every week.

Citrus cafe does not support those with disabilities.
I called ahead to inform the cafe that I have a service dog in training, and not only did the woman on the phone have Quite the nasty attitude with me, but she asked me many illegal questions involving my dog and my disability. Very unfortunate, will not be eating there again.

Had to send my food back cuz it was not made how i asked it to be made. and when it came back still was not done right but I wasn't going to wait any longer the toast was cold with barely any butter on it the biscuits and gravy were cold the server was talking about me to another server, and the price was way to high for 2 people to eat. 1. Service - no hospitality. Servers and host and "manager" woman going thru the actions, yet could not be less friendly unless they were auditioning for "indifferent European " cast.
No hellos or good byes . No Call back to check in with us.
2. Food was a solid 4 out of 10. Mediocre for the prices. NO FLAVOR to eggs, no flavor to hash browns. They potatoes were crispy but dry and firm as the product is inferior to most others I have eaten in my life. The toast was ridiculously Chewey. The bread choice the biz made was astoundingly just Bad.
3. Warning - DO NOT ORDER the biscuit and gravy. At 10 am the gray was as a non-edible biscuit. Meat is non- existent in this sausage sticky pudding glop. The biscuit was a days old dried out something, but not a traditional biscuit. The sticky gray gravy cooled to a paste like mound of an inedible mountain of paste.
4. Sausage was not hot. Over easy eggs ae over medium.
5. Clean spot.
6. All actors going thru the correct motions. No thank yous - no "hows everything?" No TY from manager lady . Totally indifferent group of people doing their version of mediocre restaurant with good profits.
7. Soul-less indifferent cast playing restaurant. Shockingly bad,
8. One star for clean place. $50 buck basic breakfast. No way.
They got ya'll fooled. Never be back.

So I know it comes with the territory in the food biz, and it's nobody's fault; but I had rotten moldy raspberries in my very berry waffles. I just wish people could pay more attention to things like that. The food was good, service was amazing, etc. But just be careful. Also, I wish they could stop using Styrofoam because I feel like the chemicals get into my food. Tinfoil is just as bad.

Really nice restaurant! The place is spotless even during a breakfast rush. Salmon and eggs is available, even on a Wednesday. As clean and well organized as the place is, it also seems like they treat their employees well. If it's busy the counter service is a great way to get breakfast as well.

You can't go wrong with breakfast here!! It's a Janesville classic. We stopped on the Saturday before Father's day and it was BUSY!! Parking is free in the lot but everyone must've drove separately. Praiseworthy kitchen staff and servers, even though it was a mad house, we received service and our meal in a fair time frame. No excessive waiting.

Come here hungry. They will feed you great sized portions! Service is awesome with seasoned pro Servers; my water and coffee was never empty. My server, who waited on me, was great. I "ear hustled" she has worked there for 11 years, compliments to the management on retaining awesome crew.

This was our first visit here, but we won't return. Our waitress was inattentive and hurried, and never cracked a smile. She delivered the wrong order to me, but just put the plate down and took off. The customer at the next table commented that he thought I received his order, so I took the plate over to him. Turns out, it didn't belong to him either. Finally, the exasperated looking waitress returned and removed the plate. I ordered a sausage croissant. It was a large croissant with a giant piece of egg, and quite a small piece of sausage. It just didn't look right. The hash browns have no flavor at all.
I gave a cash tip to the lady bussing the tables, because she was friendly and working really hard. I did not leave a tip for the waitress.
At the checkout in the front, the lady who processed the payment also did not smile. Really not the friendliest place.
We tried this place because our favorite place, the Wedge Inn, is closed on Mondays. But to the Wedge Inn we shall return!

Pretty busy, great food and fresh orange juice. We had to wait a bit for a table for 6. Ordered food for the boys right away and got it shortly after ordering our food. Fast the food was delicious, pancakes, crepes. Also a Denver and an Irish skillet with a biscuit/ gravy. They were good too although I think they could have been a little hotter in temperature ? For being such a highly rated place to eat the food was definitely mid. The pancake was raw in the middle, the breakfast gyro burrito had little to no meat, and when I asked for loaded hashbrowns I didn’t receive that immediately. The waitress remedied this immediately, which was nice, but the onions were raw. And $5 orange juice? Does it have gold in it?

A very nice diner with great breakfast selections and some really cool ones I never heard of, I had the country Benedict biscuits were flaky and the gravy was good eggs were perfectly cooked, my daughter had strawberry stuffed French toast, looked amazing neither of us could finish so filling and very satisfying, staff was on top of our every need and even though they got busy we never felt rushed to get out even after we ate.
