Chili cheese fries are trash. Not sure why they are served like this, the chili and cheese sauce is obviously cheap canned crap. The hot dog was decent but the non at the register picking her nose while she took our order has zero customer service skills.

I Ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce were great! The Philly not so much, the meat was not real steak meat but strips you get out of the pack from the box😥 so unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with that purchase. I had some of my friends cheese fries those were fantastic. When I am back visiting LG I plan to come back and try some other better options on the menu!

Honestly I’m pretty sure this place is better than Portillo’s when it comes to Chicago style hot dogs. So much so I come from Illinois sometimes just to go here, then back. They just seem so much more fresh and flavorful, they have the perfect snap that a dog should have, and the ingredients they prep are absolutely amazing. The fries seem like fresh cut fries and those are amazing, also their poppers are reallllly good. I would recommend this place all day long. Sometimes I just wish their hours were a little bit later for late dinner.

This place is so cute and cozy! The menu and decor has that 90s vibe that makes it super special. We loved the food! We had mixed poppers as an app and my husband has a foot long hot dog and I had the gyro with fries. The poppers were giant, the fries were crispy and delicious. We were drooling at how good the french fries are! The entrees were spectacular, definitely would recommend coming here! BTW the Staff was awesome and understanding as we were asking ALL the questions, and I mean ALLLLL the questions. Anyways, enjoy! 😉

Served sandwich with onion when asked without. Drink had a lid that was mangled and did not fit and spilled all over me when I picked it up. Called and spoke to "Brody" who stated that there was no manager and they were on their way out! When confronted with the lid issue, Brody stated that it's not his fault that's the way they come. Smallest gyro I have ever seen and very expensive. The cup of sauce weighs literally as much as the gyro! The fries were overcooked, and the hotdog was cold and soaking wet. Extremely expensive! I am so upset with this place. I ordered a Gyro sandwich for $10.50 and the lack of meat blew my mind and the sauce was gross and not traditional. Any place that I have ordered a Gyro sandwich from puts so much meat on the sandwich that you can hardly even fold the bread to make it a sandwich. You must eat some before you can even fold the bread. My sandwich was so small that they rolled the pita around the maybe four ribbons of meat. I brought the sandwich back and asked why the lack of meat? I said a hotdog has more meat. She asked the cook in the back and he said that's how it comes. You ha e to pay for more meat. So I asked for a refund. An Italian beef, Gyro, small cheese fries and a small fountain drink should not cost $35.00 They never offered to correct anything. Never said sorry.... nothing, nothing at all. NEVER AGAIN will I step foot in that place.

Absolutely terrible. I’m actually shocked that this place has been in business for as long as it has. I ordered a big beef with sweet peppers and a Reuben sandwich. We also ordered a side of onion rings. The big beef was not a big beef. It was actually smaller than most restaurants regular size beefs. They neglected to put the sweet peppers on it which I assume I paid more to have them added. The beef had no flavor and was as dry as a bone. You actually have to drink water or some kind of beverage to wash it down. I don’t even think you could call the Reuben sandwich a sandwich. The meat was practically nonexistent, and I’m not sure if it even had cheese on it. It was also extremely greasy and wet. I will say that the onion rings were phenomenal. I don’t understand how the onion rings could be so good and crisp. Lol. I’ll say it again. I am shocked that this restaurant is still in business. Did I say my bill was close to $40? Ridiculous.!!! I was so hungry that I ate everything. However, I’m not worried I’m going to get sick. A company that takes this little care in preparing food may take the same type of care for their sanitation practices. Obviously, I don’t know this and this is just an opinion, but I am extremely suspect.

Placed an order for a beef with fries an hot dog and a pizza puff. Cashier said $30 and some change. I thought it seemed like a lot and assumed she had double charged on accident. No accident just outrageously priced food. Won’t be visiting again for a sad attempt at a beef sandwich for nearly $18. Have to express my disappointment in our experience at Claws. We had a hot dog with fries which was only luke warm and the bun was hard, a gyro meal which was ok, a plain hot dog with fries and a corn beef sandwich, not a Reuben that had minimal warm lunch meat on it, with fries and 2 small drinks and a cheese cup. The bill was $45.59. My lunch meat sandwich on super thin rye bread was $11.95. I thought it would be brisket meat for that price and especially when I could have had a Reuben for $9.99. We could have eaten at Magpie's, Champs or anywhere else in town and enjoyed our meal for about the same price. We used to like eating at Claws but never again. It is April Fool's day and the joke was on us for sure.

Food was awful. I got a chili cheese dog and an Italian beef. The chili cheese dog they put in a container and filled it with nacho cheese and runny chili so much so that the container could not hold it and it was everywhere. This also caused the bun to be terribly soggy. The Italian beef tasted like saw dust or maybe even cigarette ash. The “sweet” peppers that were on it were so bitter and disgusting. The only reason I didn’t give this place no stars is because I can’t and the people who served me were rather nice. But this most definitely did not make up for the way over expensive terrible food. If you are going to charge so much at least make the food good. The food wasn’t even worth 3 dollars.

Was asked to pull up and we'll bring the food to you, when it came they forgot the drinks and had to go back inside and get them also one of the drinks was filled to the top with ice. Was given the wrong Italian beef, no giardiniera and no drink for that meal. Forgot the fries for the other meal too and was given cheese sauce we never ordered. Called and spoke to the manager, the manager couldn't locate the order so I told the manager I'll call back in a bit when im done eating. When I called back and asked for the manager one of the employees refused to let me speak with them. Told me he could help me and refused multiple times to let me speak with the manager. I've been coming here since the day this place opened, and always dealt with the messed up orders in the past because I know those things happen sometimes. Unfortunately this is it, I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

Love the foot longs! Burgers are very filling and tasty. Roast beef sandwich was good but the regular was pretty big, made a mess eating it. The vanilla ice cream cones were good too. I have been coming here for years, and today was the final straw. I have been patient, understanding that there is a supply and worker shortage, but EVEEY SINGLE TIME we order food here, they mess up SOMETHING. Whether it’s a condiment on a sandwich, an order of fries, or a drink, they always seem to forget something. I can understand once, or two times, but it is EVERY single time. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed, seeing as they are on site when this occurs. It’s sad too, because the food is good, but the poor service overshadows that.
