Menu was small which is fine by us. They have their fish fry every Thursday and Friday which is great for those who don’t want to deal with the busy Friday night crowd. We went on a Thursday. Seated immediately. Served within what felt like 15 minutes or less. Not busy. Decor is very plain, nothing to get excited about but felt and looked clean which is always a big plus in my book. I got the shrimp dinner and my husband got the perch dinner. I didn’t like that I was served my sides way earlier than the rest of my food or that they came in disposable containers. Overall positive experience, we would come back. Nice dinner vibes not necessarily supper club vibes.

This is a must have dinner place that you need to come to. It's almost in the middle of nowhere. When you come here, It like a County farm house. You go in and there is a Bar to have a drink then go left and there is someone to take you to your table and there you have a chance to be seated by three big picture windows to see the scenery. The service is wonderful, the people are wonderful and the food is Fantastic. If you don't like that crowded vibe. This is a must place to dine.

You get the authentic supper club feel here. Think of it as the polar opposite of Ishnala but not in a bad way. Super low key. Great prices. Great food. No need to get dressed up. Great old fashions and amazing food!
We stopped here after not being able to get in to Ishanalla and what a pleasant surprise.
There was seating at the bar, attentive bartender, and the old fashions were delicious and strong.
There's nothing too exciting or unique about the actual dining area but it was dimly lit, warm and cozy. Server came right away.
I recommend the parmesan crusted fish!
We look forward to coming back again.

My group of 7 happened to be driving by here, and we decided to check it out. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes. I ordered the special seafood sampler - cod, perch and 3 panko shrimp. It came with potato and choice of soup or salad. The fish was flaky and had a nice light breading. I hate half and took the rest home. My wife shared the tenderloin bowl - strips of tenderloin with onions, mushrooms, corn, and mashed potatoes, with our 81 year old friend. Both of them went on and on about how much they liked it. My 15 year old son had the ribs. He commented how they just fell off the bone. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too. The service was top-notch, as we were never looking for the server, as she was very pleasant and efficient. The decor is a bit dated, but if you get excellent food and service it doesn't matter. Highly recommend Club 23. I'm glad we stopped in and didn't pass it by.

I wish I could give this place a few more stars. It's unpretentious, very casual, and very delicious. There isn't a relish tray or bread basket, but what they do have is experience. This place has been around forever, and they know their business. When you enter, you'll find a low-key bar with good cocktails and beer. They offer a small menu, but that's a good thing because they focus on serving you the best prime rib, chops, seafood, and other favorites. You can't go wrong with the homemade Bleu cheese dressing for your salad. Get there when they open, and you'll be guaranteed a table right away. They do fill up quickly but stay for drinks in the bar. The staff are friendly and fun.

This place ranks high on the list for basic Wisconsin Supper Clubs! I had a very good Clam chowder, and my friend had a nice salad. We both ordered the scallops and were cooked to perfection, all 12 oz each! We also had Old Fashions that were very flavorful. Service was very accommodating and cheerful! We used to go to club 23 every year for dinner on our yearly vacation. The food always tastes great! This year unfortunately the portions were 3/4 to 1/2 of what they used to be and about 40% more expensive. I do understand that wholesale prices for ingredients have increased, however while on vacation I visited higher class restaurants that have not raised prices or decreased portion sizes. In fact, I ordered the same meal at both restaurants with the higher class restaurant being cheaper with the same portion size.

The Wisconsin supper clubs are well represented here. We went for the Friday fish fry. My wife had the shrimp, and I had the haddock with parmesan crust. The shrimp were tender, and the cocktail sauce was perfect. The fish was fantastic. Normally I use lemon juice, but I did not touch it for this taste treat.

Surprisingly amazing! We are staying in the Dells and wanted something other than overpriced junk food. Drove over to a local establishment and couldn't be happier. Unpretentious but well maintained and very clean. Great service with friendly staff and patrons. Good prices. Food served fast, well timed, hot and cooked exactly to order. Creative and traditional dishes. Thoughtfully prepared. Steak wasn't 'prime' but I'll come back here everytime I'm in town. Honestly, they are an example to others on how to run a restaurant.

My husband and I were very impressed with this supper club. We both thought the food was great 👍. He had the ribeye with cottage fries and dill dip along with a salad and dinner roll. I had a tenderloin ( which was cooked perfectly for me!! ) along with ranch scalloped potatoes (yum) and the chicken dumpling soup with my warm roll. Wish we would have had room for dessert. Everyone was very pleasant and we will be back.

On our trek to visit supper clubs we've never been to we visited Club 23 on a recent stay in the Dells. We first arrived and chose to go to the bar for a quick drink before heading to our table. The bandy old fashion's were tasty, and the bartenders were very friendly. Once seated we chose to try the duck strip, which were tasty but the breading was thick and hid the taste of the duck. The orange soy sauce was tasty, overall they were good. My wife was torn between the prime rib and a ahi tuna special and she went with the tuna special. I ordered the prime rib and shrimp combo. I made the right choice, unfortunately my wifes meal was not great. I would highly recommend the prime rib, and if you like shrimp, they were very plump and tasty.

Overall a good experience, and would recommend Club 23.

Ishnala had a 3hr wait, so went looking, discovered this place..
Doesn't look like much on the outside, and the interior is dated..

Just bottle beer. but the beer is cold!
The dining room is nice size, and service was very good..
I had the 16 ounce Prime Rib... and it wasn't medium rare like I requested, more like medium and flavor? that was the blandest piece of meat I have ever ate.. I should have requested ketchup so it would have some flavor.. maybe that's the way they like it there?
the bake potato had more flavor..
Not a place I'd get another chunk of Prime Rib at.

Wow, are we glad we tried Club 23. Two couples looking for a new place to try for Fri. night fish. Starting with well made cocktails & friendly service to the delicious food. Warm rolls to start. Two of us substituted Clam Chowder & Ham & Bean Soup for the Beans & Cold Slaw for an extra $1.00. Everyone had a different entree I had the Parmesan Crusted Haddock, my husband had the Battered Cod. Others Parmesan Crusted Salmon & Perch. All very pleased with our meals served attractively & hot. Nikki, our waitress was efficient & friendly. Pleasant family owned restaurant in the country that is well cared for. Arrived at 4:30. Seated promptly, on time, 1 hour later.. We are 6 month seasonal's soon to close. Will definately be back next year. Top on our list!!.
