My family and I went in, waited 10 minutes to be seated. We wanted pizza and salad bar, we were told the salad bar was closed. I ordered a 22 oz Coors light Nd it seemed flat. I dont know if it was pored and then sat for at least 10 minutes before it came to the table. My 22 year old daughter ordered a dirty Shirley temple could even taste alcohol in it and the same with the screwdriver My wife order. I hate vodka and I tried it and all I could taste was orange juice. WE CANCELED OUR ORDER AND LEFT. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING

We've been going to Coops for ages, and it has been fairly reliable. But of late the quality of the food hasn't been what it used to be, while the prices have soared. $13 for a chicken sandwich with chips seems pretty high for bar food. We had a party of 6, were seated immediately (and on Friday night, that's atypical, which may also be red flag). We each ordered the chicken sandwich and a Coors light, because the pizza crust resembles nothing like we've ever had in a pizza before, though this time it was better (I was offered a slice, and took one). Lately it's been more like flour and water with no salt or yeast. Our service was OK...the staff was small, so was too busy to get our food to the table hot. My wife ordered her sandwich with fries; it came with waffle fries that were badly overcooked, but the staff graciously deducted it from our check. But both chicken sandwiches were lukewarm at best. Overall, for us, a disappointing visit. The cost for two sandwiches and two Coors Lights each, less the cost for the waffle fries, and including a 15% tip: $61.19. We won't be returning soon.

I have to say, when my cousin ordered pizzas from Coop’s - I wasn’t expecting them to be great - mostly because it’s sort of in the middle of nowhere, small town Wisconsin. But I’ll honestly tell ya that I was pleasantly surprised by the pizzas when they showed up. Certainly not the best I’ve had but also nowhere near the worst and it far exceeded my expectations of a small town pizza joint in Wisconsin. I was also glad that they cut them into triangles (albeit small) - rather than the dumb Midwestern square cut. Overall, the pizzas were good - if you’re in the area and looking for a good pizza, I’d say Coop’s is the spot.

We Went in for lunch buffet on our break, had to wait to be seated as we couldn't get anyone to seat us as they stood around talking, our waitress only came back to give us the check, no refills, didnt ask if we needed anything. pizza was sloppy and not very warm, the garlic toast was hard as a rock! We Could hear a woman in the back angrily yelling, The owner was speed walking around but couldn't get her attention and seemed to stuck up to "work" and just went to her office. We were very disappointed with our service! This use to be such a delightful place, such a shame to see what it's turned into

Went here years ago, didn't see what all the fuss was about. Service was lacking and the pizza truthfully sucked.... Popped in today 7/25/25, the atmosphere was completely different, the fish tank is gone,seems better decorated and feels larger. The staff were keeping busy, little kids were running around which really made it feel family friendly, warm and inviting. The hostess Chloe was wonderful and extremely polite. Our server Lora H was very nice and checked in on us throughout our meal. The pizza is better made, definitely worth it! Even bought a frozen one to take home!

This place has great potential as the atmosphere inside and out, is great and it seems like a nice family owned and run restaurant that employs lots of kids (kudos).
We came for the buffet and the pizza was average, making it a hard sell for me to ever order their pizza off the menu instead - we waited 10 minutes for more pizza and the variety wasn’t good. Crust was too thin to make the pizza enjoyable.
The salad bar had tons of options, and that alone was worth the price. Ultimately $12 for an adult lunch buffet is good bang for your buck in today’s world.
We were disappointed with the food, but not the service, atmosphere or price!

We are visiting the area for a few days and we were just too tired to cook so we decided to do take out. We searched for pizza near me and this was the first place to pop up, so we decided to try it. Glad we did. Looks like a nice place to dine in as well. We noticed plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as a full bar. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We’ve been coming to Coop’s for over 30 years, and it’s as good as ever! The new owners have given the restaurant lots of TLC, with some welcome additions and updates, while the pizza is as delicious as always.
We always ask for Melody, our favorite server, who not only does an excellent job, but we also consider a friend. After months of being away, we saw her tonite, and before we even ordered, she brought our drinks just as she remembered. She’s a hard worker, kind as can be, and always makes us feel right at home.

What a terrific way to finish an elongated weekend. We met the owner who was dressing up the patio space with mulch and pride. It looks great! She was kind and welcoming.

Service was second to none. We had our young and relatively well-behaved Setter who was brought freshwater and courtesy as we enjoyed tap beers in frosty glasses.

Burgers were made to order and excellent. Not greasy, not dry. This is how I remember restaurants, a treat.

Our hockey team had a reservation here for all the kids plus family, and the staff was very accommodating. Over the years, we've witnessed countless changes—the removal of the fish tank, updates to the entrance, the opening up of the bar space, and, most devastatingly, the elimination of shredded lettuce from the salad bar. While I can accept change as a part of life, it comes with an expectation of integrity and flexibility.

The shredded lettuce was iconic—an unsung hero of the salad bar. Its absence left a void, one that I sought to fill during last year's visit after confirming its availability over the phone. I was promised that a plate of shredded lettuce could be provided, a beacon of leafy hope. Yet, upon arrival, I was greeted not with lettuce but with scoffs and indifference from the staff. A disappointment, to be sure, but I held out hope for redemption.

This year, I approached with caution but optimism. Another phone call, another sympathetic employee who assured me that my request could be met. This time, my hopes soared when I saw the taco pizza on the menu—surely they had shredded lettuce in the kitchen! But alas, history repeated itself. My polite inquiry was met with a palpable air of annoyance, and I was directed to the salad bar's uninspiring, leaf-layered alternative.

Let me be clear: this review isn't about the shredded lettuce itself. It's about broken promises, dismissive attitudes, and an unwillingness to go the extra mile for a customer. A simple plate of shredded lettuce—something they clearly have on hand—could have turned a disappointing visit into a memorable one.

Coop's, I loved you once, but your lack of care and follow-through has soured that affection. Until I see a return to the integrity and customer-first mentality that once defined you, I will be forced to reminisce about better days every time I drive past.

Great food, nice ambiance, and plenty of seating make this a solid choice if you want to eat with two people or larger size groups. The food is fresh, hot, and really good, especially the pizza. The only thing I marked low was the service, but not because it was bad. The staff was working very, very hard, but they just don't have enough for the few times I went there this summer. I get it, and I didn't want to give the restaurant a lower mark, but I don't want people to get the wrong impression. It is really hard to get staff, and those people working were stretched. So you may have to wait, be understanding, the buffet (pizza) doesn't fill quickly, etc. But the staff is working hard, they are friendly, and doing everything to make your experience a great one. Honestly, the best thing you can do for this place is to give more, tip generously, acknowledge the hard work the staff is putting in, because if you want more & better service, you're going to need more people. The only way to get more people is word of mouth by the current staff, telling their friends how well they are doing in tips, so they come work there. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Visited 5 years ago with an awesome experience, came back this weekend and was very disappointed. Service was amazing and the place was as great as I remember but what happened to the pizza? When it reached the table there was quite the pond of grease occupying the entire top of the pizza, was going to say something as even our waitress had a surprised/confused expression on her face bringing it over but we were starving - came a long way out and waited all morning for Coop's to open remembering how great it was last time. Anywho, the pizza was somehow so greasy that the sauce wouldn't even stick to the dough so EVERY piece we picked up the entire topping slid right off so we try cutting it and the dough of almost every piece shattered like a potato chip when stabbed with a fork. And with no topping holding it together we were forced to shovel it into our mouths like undercooked lasagna 😕 I was starving or that would have been my first time ever sending food back, well after getting home we tried reheating our take-homes since we wiped all the grease off before boxing it up. Sadly that wasn't good enough either, tasted worse, still fell apart, and now not feeling well afterwards......

I gotta say your mozzarella sticks are to die for, I'd pay for those again in a heartbeat but that $30 pizza was the worst we've ever had. Sorry guys but we won't be returning

The pizza is always fantastic. The service is always quick and nice. The vibe is really fun and the kids love it. Plus the bloody mary's are delicious.

Even under new ownership, the pizza is still amazing... every time!! Love the new decor (miss the big fish tank but having more serving areas makes sense)
