Went there Saturday evening of Cubs Brewers final playoff game, sat outside, lots of fun people watching and listening to the sparring fans. The falafel snack plate was good, the copper cubano sandwich even better. Server was Francesca, very efficient and friendly, did a nice job checking in with us, especially since food took a long time from our order to its table arrival. Shuttles were taking people to the game but we just had a two minute walk to our next destination at the Fiserv Forum.

Cheese curds were good. The poutine my husband got was delicious and SO flavorful. The smash burger I got had no flavor. The sandwich tasted like tomato, bun and onion. I tried the meat patty by itself, and it was bland. Worst burger ive ever had out. Tasted like it just wasn't seasoned. Also service was very slow. It didn't seem crazy busy either. We likely won't return.

This place was awesome, but I’d love to see their poutine come back (then I’d give it 5 stars)

The service is excellent and overall the restaurant is very nice. However, they’ve updated the menu recently and I’m very disappointed.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE REGULAR POUTINE!
It’s one of the only things that makes me happy. 😊

We sat there for 84 minutes. Our server Kaleigh J came to our table 2 times. Once to sit us down and take our first drink order. And another to get our food order. She never came back to ask us how we are doing or if we wanted more drinks.
Great atmosphere and great food. But the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Truly disappointed….

I stopped by here for some food over the weekend while I was in Milwaukee for the Triathlon Nationals. I found the actual space to be very nice and took a spot at the bar. Trying to order food and drinks turned out to be an unexpected chore because apparently they were out of most things on the menu. But after taking the initial order for my spouse and I that would be the last time the bartender would acknowledge me until I had to put in way more effort than necessary wave him down for the check after sitting there for quite a while after finishing. I guess after finishing my first drink as well as the initial glass of water I got when sitting down I was just supposed to be thirsty because the bartender would spend tons of time with the patrons on one side of me then zip past me to help the others on the other side skipping me entirely. In fact the group that got there half an hour after me were able to get to their third round of drinks while I was apparently only allowed the one. The food I had was good (what I eventually could order because of said lack of inventory) and the actual bar is nice but the service was abysmal. If I find myself in the Brew City again I have no problem skipping Copper and hitting one of the others places on that street that I had much better experiences at.

Service was extremely slow for it not being all that busy but the server was nice. The menu did not have a lot of variety and it seems like everything on the menu was hot or spicy in some way which is good if you are expecting that, which we were not. The wife tried to get the Cesar salad which was now replaced by the "jalapeño Cesar salad" so she got the house chopped salad which for some reason was also spicy? It came with "champagne vinaigrette" which tasted like soap and being spicy as well did not make sense. I had the falafel and a side of shrimp. The hummus tasted like dirty water and the shrimp were over seasoned and salty. Nice looking place but whoever came up with the menu needs some help.

The warm welcome I needed to Milwaukee!
After having to unexpectedly travel from NC due to a family emergency, I was on the hunt for some great food after a long 12 hours of hospital life. Upon arrival, I was greeted by two kind servers who answered a couple questions I had about the menu. This fabulous encountered continued on through my evening as I sat at the bar for some fantastic poutine fries (this takes me back to my Buffalo days…)
All in all, I can’t recommend this place more. The food was everything I needed and the incredible staff did wonders to my battered soul.
Hoping (planning) to find myself there again!

Our server was working so hard. We had the chicken wings, homemade pickles and French onion soup. Soup was a little sweet for me but the pickles are amazing. The chicken wings were very good. Loved the buffalo sauce. Next time we will try the chicken tenders. They looked good too.

Came here with high hopes; the quality of the food is a major letdown. We saw pictures online of great-looking food; unfortunately, what we got was some of the worst food I've had in a long time. Soggy burger and fries. We left hoping we don't get food poisoning. Amazing interior; the bartender was great.

A friend and I ate here in the early afternoon of June 14. It was our first time at Copper on King. As it was a lovely day, we ate outside in the deck they built into the street. We both ordered the smash burgers with salad instead of fries. My balsamic dressing had red pepper flakes in it (who does that?) which made it exceptionally hot for my palate. The burger was fine - at 1/3 lb it big enough to satisfy. It was rather well cooked (more than medium, less than burned) The lettuce and tomato rested atop one side of the bun while the meat and cheese were on the other, which meant the lettuce and tomato were not steamed to death. We both had iced tea. The first glass was rather weak, but we were then brought a pitcher which was, if not great, much better than the initial drink. Service was good and friendly. I would return to try other menu options. The closest paid lot had decided to charge event pricing ($35) so we found a more reasonable lot up the street. The restroom was clean and well stocked.

We ordered wings and some of them seemed tough and possibly from a door dash that hadn't been picked up. They were overcooked to put it mildly. They music was so loud the waitress couldn't hear anything we said. The waitress was fo in her zone that she seemed hurried and bothered by a.our questions and it was a first time visit to the restaurant so we had a few questions

Went there to celebrate my son graduating with his Masters degree and never again will we return. We got there about 8:30 and it was pretty empty we waited for ever for someone to take our order. When we finally got our food it was so overcooked and no flavor, the fries were so tiny and hard no one ate them. Not once did the waitress come over to see how things were or if we needed anything. My 11 yr old ordered chicken strips and even those were overcooked and no flavor. You can tell they take no pride in their food. I had to ask for our bill as I wanted to leave and even paying my bill took forever. And even when we left they were still not busy there was one booth being used in the sitting area.
Worse service I have ever had!!

Food was alright, but the real standout was the service. I came in to grab a quick bite and there was one singular person working as the host, server, and bartender. As a server/bartender myself I was amazed by how well she handled the (crowded) room. Nobody was ignored, and everything flowed smoothly. She was polite, friendly, and really made me feel at home while I hung out waiting for the train. Whatever you're paying her is not enough - this employee is a gem.

Eating here was such an incredibly impactful experience!!! Ended up visiting this place for dinner TWICE while in town for AdeptiCon because it was just that gooood!!!
First off, their portions were HUUUGE for the price; so we left both nights incredibly full and happy!
The Bee Sting Whipped Feta Dip was LIFE CHANGING. I recommend getting extra cauliflower chips, you’re going to need them! We also got the poutine with added short rib, which was an excellent choice.
Highly suggest visiting on Friday for the fish fry entree options! I would suggest the fillet over the sandwhich by far.
When we visited on Saturday, I got the smash burger while my partner got the Vern’s pepper jelly chicken sandwich, which was also delicious!
I also want to remark their reasonably priced drinks and their delicious Mules, which could be paired with a variety of flavors like blueberry & peach.
The atmosphere was lovely, and all the staff and servers were so prompt and so very friendly! I would certainly be a regular if I lived in the area. 12/10 experience!!!

We happened to forget that Fiserv was hosting Friday March 21st, and that Marquette also played at 6:30.....clearly not big march madness fans. We decide to leisurely stroll in at 6:10pm before a show at Turner Hall. Yea, I know stupid move. Anywho, we were lucky enough to find spots at the bar after a couple left. Let me tell you this place was jam packed! That being said, the service was amazing, the food was absolutely outstanding. We left in awe of what an incredible experience we had during such a busy time. Great job guys! You're definitely doing it right! We will be back, and back, and back. Thank you for the hospitality!

We stumbled upon Copper on King while looking for a bite to eat before a Milwaukee Admirals game and the Justin Timberlake concert. The bars we initially tried were packed with no open tables, but luckily, this spot had seating available. We had no idea what to expect, but the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately made us feel like we had made the right choice. The restaurant features a long, narrow bar with seating to the right and beautiful copper accents throughout—giving it a sleek yet cozy vibe.
Our server, Selina, was absolutely fantastic! She took the time to walk us through the menu, making great recommendations along the way. Without a doubt, the Bee Sting appetizer is a must-try—the combination of feta cheese, hot honey, pistachios, and those perfectly seasoned cauliflower toast points had us craving more all night long!
For our main dish, we ordered wings, and Selina suggested doing a dry rub with sauces on the side so we could try multiple flavors. We went with four different sauces, which made for a fun experience—especially for the kids! The wings were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served piping hot. On top of that, the service was extremely fast—we barely had time to chat before our appetizers and meals arrived.
If you’re in the area and need a great place to grab a bite before an event, Copper on King is a fantastic choice. Amazing service, delicious food, and a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere—this place is definitely worth a visit!

Nearly a complete failure! The decor is nice, still respectful of buck bradley's. That's where it ends! We ordered burgers, waiter was decent. When the food came, it was completely wrong. We were told by a VERY RUDE manager that "we don't cook to order". We had to leave to find our lunch! If a restaurant will not cook what a customer wants, they dont belong in business! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

This was one of those places that's been on my list to try, that I just hadn't made an effort to go visit. One of my girlfriends finally organized a girl's night there, and it was such a great time!
First of all, shout out to Mike for being super accommodating and providing exceptional customer service. Our group was so happy that he was able to seat us in one of the booths, so right off the bat we were enjoying our time in the restaurant.
Our server was super knowledgeable and gave us some great suggestions, and you HAVE to try the Bee Sting Whipped Feta Dip (and order extra toast points) because it's absolutely delicious. The Fried Cheese Cubes were great too (a little salty, but still tasty) and they have great happy hour deals ($5 Maker's Mark Old Fashioned, anyone?) as well as a few mocktail options for those who don't drink booze.
The only "complaint" that we had was that it does get *really* loud in there and there was a group of younger guys watching a game who were definitely enjoying themselves! But overall, it didn't detract from the experience, but if you want a quieter dinner, probably sit on the side where the bar is.
Overall, was very pleased with the experience and will be back to try more -- maybe a meal next time and not just drinks & apps!

Food was meh, cinnamon roll was good. Notably, our server seemed to be drunk at 10:30 AM. Our order was wrong even after clarifying, our food took quite a while to come out, and it took forever to get our check. Meanwhile, we witnessed the table next to us sit for about an hour before they got their food - the same server had neglected to put their order in. And then when we did get our check, she ran our card to pay the wrong table's bill. Fortunately we noticed and a different server was able to fix it. Not a great experience overall and we won't be back.

I want to start by saying our server was absolutely amazing! She was very sweet and personable! The food was subpar. The fries were so heavily salted. I also ordered a French onion soup, and I'm not sure if they used the same seasoning, or if I was still just tasting the seasoning from the fries. Also the cheese curds were fried in olive oil so they only taste of olive oil.

A Milwaukee Must!
Spent the weekend in Milwaukee and found Copper because the place next door had horrible service. So glad we stopped in. We liked it so much we had appetizers and drinks ($5 grey goose mules- happy hour 2-6pm) on Friday, drinks on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. FANTASTIC! Highly recommend the short rib omelet, the fried cheese and the boneless Thai chicken wings.
Best thing about this place was the staff. They greeted you like you were long time friends. They took time to explain the dishes, made great recommendations and checked on you. They even remembered us when we returned the next day. One server mentioned that the staff wanted to work for Pete because he was a great guy and the staff genuinely liked working there. That says it all... happy staff, happy customers. Great job Pete and staff. Keep up the good work. We told our hotel (Aloft) to add you to the top of their recommended restaurants. I know we'll be back whenever we are in town.

OK, so hear me out. At first glance, you might think Copper's is just another restaurant with a similar menu. It is not! The food is not only exceptional, they have managed to put an international spin on very familiar things. If you're in Milwaukee, just go and see for yourself. You'll find American food with Mediterranean, French and even Creole influence, and their menu is expanding even more in the next week or two! I cannot wait to go back. I may make a special trip to Milwaukee just to see what they do next.

Milwaukee — this is your new place for upscale bar food! Food, drinks, and service all great (s/o to Mike, Fi, Justin). It’s still got that famous beautiful bar that we loved from Buck Bradley’s, but with a really cool and classic feel. Get the bee sting feta dip!

Location is perfect if you are going to the Fiserv Forum, convention center, Riverwalk or Performing Arts Center.
Beautiful space with lots of copper touches. Huge bar area - ready for all groups small or large.
Service was attentive yet casual. Food was delicious & drinks were very reasonably priced.
Can’t wait to visit again!

Went there after they recently opened and so glad we did! The staff is friendly, positive and extremely attentive. We even got to meet the Chef, Jeff. I have a food allergy and he came out to make sure everything was ok. The food was top notch! We had the cheese cubes for an appetizer and it was excellent! Nothing against curds, but these cubes are just different, in a really good way! We had the burger and the haloumi salad. Burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Chef substituted the bun (for my allergy) with this crazy good bread, freshly made in house. So good! My wife loved the salad as well! Great food and service…So glad they are now in the neighborhood!

Really welcoming staff and great staff complement a fantastic location that’s equally amenable to a relaxed dinner on a Tuesday night or a wild crowd before a basketball game.

We unexpectedly found ourselves at Copper and loved it! The drinks and service were absolutely amazing, and they were only topped by top shelf food. 10/10. Five stars. However else you wanna describe it. But I highly suggest coming here. Brad (the bartender specifically) was awesome. Ask him for a slight of hand trick and he's got you.

We had drinks and appetizer. Mimosa that was cranberry and champagne and that was mostly cranberry juice. And a poorly made manhattan For 25.00. There was so much dip for 6 crackers I asked for a few more just to finish the dip. 6 bucks extra. So a dollar a chip. . The bartenders were pleasant.
We were celebrating a birthday.
We don’t need to ever go back. Learned our lesson.
