Love the Harvest Chai w/skim milk. Oh and pumpkin cream cheese swirl bread mmmmmm!! The most important part of this visit was when there was a minor hiccup in our order at the drive thru. The staff member at the window was pleasant and acknowledged the glitch and corrected it immediately. She was appropriately apologetic and came across as sincere. Excellent service and customer retention. Will definitely be back.

The coffee is fine. The drive thru experience there is consistently terrible. They always get the order wrong, which is probably why they don't start to make your order until you correct it at the window which makes me wonder why you don't just order at the window.

I came in on a Saturday morning for a 12oz cold brew and a scone, thinking that if I ordered something that didn’t require a barista, I could get in and out quickly. Wrong. The cashier gave me my scone and put my cup in the hot drink line up. 25 minutes later, I asked for my drink and my cup had been given to the drive up window customer.

Just some feedback. If a customer only wants a cup of something that is already made, like hot or cold coffee, the cashier can get that served right away. That would be way more efficient.

I always enjoy coming here, it's a warm atmosphere. Their scones are very yummy, but order early in the morning because they often go quickly. Their coffee tastes fresh, and I like the variety in their menu. I do feel it needs a bigger space - it is usually quite busy anytime of the day.

This is one of our favorite places in the area! Quick morning beverage or a Sunday brunch. You really can't go wrong here. If you're the type of person that stops at a gas station on your way to work, do yourself a favor. Swing by, get way better food, huge drink selection, much healthier, and you're supporting a small local business! Wins all around! Also, plan to spend a few extra bucks on the impulse buys at the counter. The peanut brittle is worth fighting someone over.

We will continue to be regulars until we move!

I have been coming to this location frequently for the past two years, so I feel like I've got a good basis of experience for this review. The drinks and food are amazing. It is hands-down, my favorite coffee shop to visit for breakfast choices. The main reason why I choose other places to go is because, they will never meet the time of pick up when you place an online order. The staff also doesn't seem to really care that you're standing around waiting for your order that was supposedly going to be done 10 minutes ago. For this reason alone I only will get coffee here if I don't have to be somewhere at a set time.

Located in a small strip mall in what appears to be a former bank drive thru, Copper Rock doesn’t give off a strong impression from the outside but after this visit, I am super impressed with this lovely coffee shop and it’s very clear that others share that same fondness. They offer a large variety of breakfast and lunch options that go far beyond a normal pastry and coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches are generously sized (and tasty!) at very affordable price points. There will likely be a 5-10 minute wait during peak hours as the drive thru line builds up quickly but I say go inside, enjoy the charm and coziness of Copper Rock while you wait and take inventory of their baked goods, packaged treats and eye the menu for your next return because this Appleton gem is worth a return trip. I’ll be back.

A friend if mine introduced me to Copper Rock Coffee. He bragged about the lattes. He was right to brag. Copper Rock has a warm vibe. It has everything you'd expect in a coffee shop, including courteous barristas, comfortable seating at tables or on overstuffed chairs, and seemingly endless drink configurations. Consistency really needs to be taught here. Sometimes the sandwich I get has 1 piece of ham other days 4. Sometimes 2 pieces of cheese sometimes 1. Sometimes my latte has the milk added before the ice making it twice as much milk as when the ice is added first. When you get drinks at a coffee shop you expect them to be the same everytime. Sometimes I totally hate what I get even though I am getting the same thing everytime. :(

Copper Rock is probably the most premiere coffee shop in the Fox Valley. Their downtown location offers plenty of seating and is conveniently located just west of the City Center plaza. Locally owned, wonderfully staffed, serving up first class beverages, bakery, lunches, and fresh gelato. If you are looking for a more intimate venue, their North side location is located a few miles North of the Ballard Rd exit off Interstate Hwy 41.

Delicious lunch!!! We lived in the area 8 yrs ago and Copper Rock was a great coffee shop. My husband and I are in town for a few days, so decided to eat lunch here. Affordable and DELICIOUS! I’m actually really upset after my last visit here, there’s one employee I’ve had a few times who is always rude, irritable, and this time was sarcastic and I think purposely messed up my order? I came through the drive through, got a panini, parked my car, took a few bites, and realized I didn’t want the rest of the sandwich because it was blackened and tasted like charcoal. So I go through and re order, the second sandwich came out completely cold, cheese unmelted, and veggies still cold, It was a hot pressed panini. As she handed me the new sandwich she smirked and started laughing as she turned around to the other employees behind her. So I called for a refunded and I she answered and explained and she just gave me a short, “ok, do you want us to heat it up.” I heard another employee having to tell her to apologize when I said no. Maybe it’s her first job and she’s been having really bad days every time I’ve been here, but still. Doesn’t feel good to be treated like that by anyone and I don’t think there’s an excuse for it. On the other hand, the College Ave location has always been exceptionally considerate, employees are mature, and the foods always great. I was passing through the area and saw this and decided to turn around and go back so that I could get a latte and possibly something to eat before I jumped on to Hwy 41. Staff was very cheerful when I drove up to the window to pay and hand me my latte. I was asked to pull up to wait for my egg sandwich. I waited about 5 minutes or so and when the gentleman brought it out to me he thanked me for waiting and informed me that he had put a scone in there for me too. My latte was great, the egg sandwich was piping hot and the unexpected scone was the best one I have ever had!!

Very disappointing. They get your order wrong at least 1 in every 3 times going here. Today, they not only made the wrong drink after telling them our order twice but then came out to the car again to ask about clarifying the order a third time.
