I loved going here for a school field trip! I like how you can choose different things to customize each game, like a birthday party or disco-themed game. The food is great and I recommend buying some when you go. There's also a small arcade where you can play some games if you get tired of just bowling. I think I might visit again sometime! It was really fun, and I wish that I can be taken here again sometime.

We love coming bowling and have kids bowl free for the summer. We try to go once a week and we ALWAYS buy food. We went yesterday and my parents were joining us. There was a field trip taking up all 12 lanes at 11. Some lanes only had two kids on them. We asked if they could combine a couple so we could have 2 lanes for our group since we needed one lane with bumpers and one without. He said we could have one lane, that the group would give us one lane. He also asked if we had kids bowl free, so I said yes. I’m sure he figured we weren’t paying so he didn’t care anyway. I’ve never talked to or seen this old man before. Gray hair, not very helpful. Any of the other staff is usually kind or accommodating. What a joke. I gave the review 3 stars because we usually like coming. The pizza and other food is always good (besides maybe at night, we’ve had crappy pizza). The lady working there is nice, etc. My daughter said she’s seen the old guy (he wasn’t the tall skinny one) behind the bar before, but I’ve never noticed him. My parents drove out of their way for this. Thanks for nothing.

Not only is the place small the food sucks. The pizza was burnt and slimey. The water is tap and the soda is watered down as well. Don't recommend this place at all horrible experience. If I could give it zero stars I would, but that's not possible so a one it is. Don't waste your money.

Cougar lanes has great food and drinks. They also have a beautiful volleyball court with outdoor seating. The bowling is reasonable and they run specials. The lanes are very nice and there is a small arcade area too. They have glow bowling and leagues as well.

My wife and I have never been to this establishment. We were invited for a surprise birthday party. We show up early, stand at the bar cash in hand clearly visible. We had 3 of the 4 bar tenders look right at us and proceed to serve everyone around us and everyone that walked up after. Stood at the bar for 15 mins and were treated like we weren't worth their time of day. We decided to leave after the guest of honor showed up. Boxcar's took great care of us and we were not only greeted as we walked into their packed bar, we were served immediately. Bottom line, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and we will never set foot inside that place ever again. There are far better and friendlier establishments in Clinton that are actually worth spending your time and money at.

The only reason I'm giving a 3 Star Rating is because the bartender took my order and it just sat on the counter getting cold because she was too busy talking to everyone else rather then paying attention to my food getting cold. It sat there for 10 minutes before SOMEONE ELSE finally came over and asked me if that was my food. I should have made them remake it, but she would have let it sit there again to get cold. I love the place, love the food, I just don't love the service.

Good food, but the service was awful. Waitress never smiled. Didn't even acknowledge us when we sat down for 10 mins. She told us after we ordered that it was a 45-minute wait. It was more like 1 hour a 25 minute wait. I understand it was busy but that is the worst service I have had in a long time. My suggestion is they need to have 1 person taking care of the tables and 2 behind the bar.

Ok, I never knew this place served food. I heard about the fish fry from a coworker, and how good it was, a few times. She was telling me about it again. I said we have friday off, so I'm gonna go try it. The 15 minute drive was well worth it. It is the best fish fry that I have had in the longest time. I don't even know how long it's been since I was so impressed with the food, the service, and the friendliness of the staff working. This is now my go to spot on Friday for fish. Thank you so much

I have a soft spot for cougar lanes. I grew up bowling here and have always been happy. Mark and his staff are very helpful and keep the place nice and clean. The food, especially the house made pizza, is pretty dang good for bar food. It can get real busy on the weekends, making long wait times on food. But grab a beer and relax, it's worth it.

Usually don't have a problem with food here, but this time the taco salad we got had like no chips at all, there was a tiny pile of crumbs from a bottom of a bag and that was it.
