I used to come here regularly a while back while visiting the area. The food is great, service was excellent, and I liked the display pieces they had hanging on the walls. It was a nice atmosphere that I remember fondly. Looking forward to returning one day. 5 stars!

Delicious!! I look forward to it every year, when I'm in the area in July - it does everything well, from breakfast to burgers, and the fries are fantastic. A friendly place in an otherwise kind of deserted-looking downtown area - but maybe that keeps it a little less busy, who knows. I wish it were closer than six hours away!

This beautiful little spot is like a local time capsule! Tons of history on all the walls and within the patrons. The blueberry pancakes were excellent. Highly recommend a stop in downtown next time you’re passing through Grantsburg :)

We love this local little cafe. They're open till 2pm daily. Great breakfast & lunch options, YUM. The hometown atmosphere/decor is nice, and we LOVE our waitress! She's hard-working, always super friendly and has a great sense of humor! My hubby asked for a small milk... She brought him a little glass of chocolate milk with a huge smile, trying not to laugh 😂

Decent place for breakfast, if only they would not put other food and gravy on top of the hash browns, which makes them soggy and closer to mashed potatoes. If I go back I will ask for the hash browns on a separate plate. Otherwise, the country fried steak was pretty good.

Ordered the biscuits and gravy which was disgusting. The menu stated homemade buttermilk biscuits but looked and tasted like they were from a can and the so called gravy was cream of chicken soup with a small amount of some type of meat that was seasoned so heavily with pepper that it was all one could taste. The total appearance looked like clear snot with the same consistency so needless to say I didn't recommend nor will I be going back.

On our drive up north, we were starving and Grantsburg seemed like the closest place that might have food. Boy were we happy we came here. The kitschy decor, historic memorabilia set the tone. The service outstanding and the food so good!! We will definitely come back.

Definitely get breakfast here because I stopped in to grab a cinnamon roll to go and it wasn’t fresh, but everybody’s breakfast that I could see looked totally awesome! Advice here, by far is to plan ahead and stop for a meal, and if you’re getting a roll or something to go, make sure it’s fresh.

Im saddened to post this, but i don't know what has happened in the last year or so when it comes down to their Biscuits and Gravy, their recipe is nothing ay all to brag about. The gravy was more of a white jelly paste with only a couple chunks of pork sausage and seasoned heavily with pepper and the Biscuits were burnt on the bottom. I've ordered this in the past and it was edible, but not this time. If I hadn't got my order to go, I would have returned it for something else. Other than that dish, I've heard the food is excellent. Great pumpkin pie... My service was friendly and quick.

On a recent trip to Grantsburg WI for cheese curds we were both hungry decided to check this place out it was flat out delicious wife had eggs Benedict while I had pancakes and hash browns wife said hers was very good the only thing she would have liked was more sauce the pancakes were plate sized and very flavorful I got a plateful of hash browns that were done just the way I like can't wait to go back and try a couple of other things on the menu

The best dinner you can have in Grantsburg! I’m unfortunately have the habit of being in the area when they’re closed for Independence Day, but when my schedule lines up it’s always fantastic! Best pancakes and hashbrowns I’ve had in years! The sweet cream pancakes were particularly good. And the Devore was lovely too! Everything you could ask for in a nice little café, just wish it wasn’t a few hundred miles from home!

2nd time here. No complaints about the place, the food, the service, or anything, all excellent, as previously. The missing star is for the other patrons; no masks and mostly elderly in pandemic times. I guess this is America without concern. Stay for the pancakes though.
