First time here tonight with my boyfriend. We were a little unsure when we walked in. Looks like they are doing some renovation. We were there early. (Thank God!) It filled up fast! Now we know why! Their walleye and perch were excellent! Huge portions and some surprise hush puppies we were not expecting...After covid, we decided we were going to go to different establishments and try out Friday night fish fry around our area. So far we have been to 12. This is one of the ones we will definitely be going back to!!

I'm not sure why there are people complaining about this place? (I read a good amount of reviews) we have been driving past Countryside for 3 years and finally decided to stop in for prime rib. PHENOMENAL!!! Italian beef was really great too, great taste to it. You get a lot of food and reasonably priced (I feel anyway). Well worth any wait!! Rachel did a great job too, as busy as it was she rocked it behind the bar! Everyone in the bar was cheerful, really great atmosphere. Can't wait to come back and try something else!

the countryside pub is a great place to grab a drink and have some great food. the bartender(been there 31 years) is awesome. we had the ghost pepper cheese curds, and they were great. also, my group had the meatball sub, the tuesday taco special, and the prime rib sliders. All of us agreed the food was top-notch. would definitely eat there again when in the area. we are a little way from home. we live in Eastern indiana.

Very poor bartender. We got there at 4 pm last Friday. The bartender seen us and ignored us for about 20 minutes. We were there 3 hours and me and my wife each only go 3 drinks each. But we weren't the only ones who waited for a long time. We will try 1 more time because the food was good. If we wait 20 or more minutes for a drink we will never go back.

Found this place while going from Eagle to Farm of Lights Xmas light drive thru near Genoa. Very IMPRESSED! Friendly and helpful staff, helped us decide what to drink. Easy to find, cold drinks and of course the locals hanging out here. But the food is absolutely amazing! I would say it's worth about a 45 minute drive. Many homemade dishes. The owner seems to take pride in the food he serves. I recommend stopping in, but you better be early on Friday for the fish fry, and on Saturday for the prime rib.

The food, in this unassuming, local pub is phenomenal. Taco Tuesday and a weekly pizza is our norm. For the Friday night fish fry, I think if you ordered baked cod, the server could let you know the order will take over an hour. That means that fish had to be thawed then cooked. Baked fish takes 20 minutes at tops when and if thawed. The other issue is the fish fry is all you can eat. After waiting over an hour, the waitress asked if more fish is needed. Yes, please, 10 minutes later, 1 pc of fish brought out Waitress could have said "how many pieces would you like, 1 or 2". The beers were pleny stocked at our table but didn't even mention how much longer our order was going to take much less other tables were being served before ours until I spoke up. Great food place but cook time needs improvement. 7pm still busy.

This is the 5th time I've tried Countryside Pub for their prime rib, and 3rd for their lobster Mac 'n cheese. Food, quality, service... All impressive each and every time.
The atmosphere is a great blend of regulars and new blood alike. Welcoming to all.
Prime rib seasoned and cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy and full of flavor.
Our server, Sarah, goes above and beyond, and she is super friendly. Makes you feel like your the only reason she is there.
Having Jess behind the bar is also great, she is fun and efficient. Always on her game!

Our food was awful. The fish fry had a crunchy outside crust but the inside fish was mushy and slimy like mush. I asked for extra crispy bacon on my burger and they gave me
A pile the size of a baseball on top of my burger and it was super soft and wet.. The burger was a frozen patty and cold. I didn’t even eat it. They had 1 server and 1 bartender on a Friday night and restaurant was full. The server had to take orders, bring drinks, clean tables, bring out food. Take the check. Took forever for anything. Every seat taken. I have a feeling only 1 cook also because it took 1.5 hours to get our food. The staff was great and worked hard but completely understaffed. No I would not come back here to eat. The food was terrible

We ordered a prime rib and a shrimp alfredo both with soups. The prime rib was tough and chewy, baked potato had no flavor and clam chowder was ok. Shrimp alfredo was horrible no shrimp 2 over cooked chicken patties instead 2 different kinds of noodles sauce didn't taste anything like alfredo sauce garlic bread wasn't cooked and the cream of mushroom soup looked like it was right out of the can condensed with nothing added. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there for food.

This was my first visit to the Countryside Pub. I came to see some Live Blues music in their Beer Garden which was awesome. No cover charge and very reasonably priced drinks plus great service... This is the best fish fry Walworth County in Racine they're baked cod and shrimp is out of this world! The potato pancakes are homemade, the coleslaw is homemade and they also have white cheddar macaroni and cheese as a side and that is homemade too!
