One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Cheese Curds were THE best we’ve ever had. And the burger?! Insane. Do yourself a favor & upgrade your fries. They even split the meal for us and gave us a prime window seat!! 10/10!!

The food is amazing at this place but what really stood out for me was their willingness to accommodate me on the patio on a chilly fall evening because I had dogs. They said to call when I arrived and someone would seat me outside. The waitress was super sweet even though she had to come out in the wind and chilly temperature, never once making me feel bad for being out there. She was attentive and made outstanding recommendations. Thank you for such a pleasant experience on top of the excellent food.

Do you ever see a review with this many high stars - well it should be even more. The prices seemed high at first and then you realize they are totally justified in diversity and quality. Sauces were so different and unique across the plates and palette. The service was all fun loving, as if old friends. A the microbrews! Well more than just a “Pub”.

Philly cheesesteak sandwich and cheeseburger were delicious. Very flavorful and tasted very fresh. But the French fries had to be the best part, sea salt beer batter golden crispy fries. They were some of the best I've ever had and I'm not one to go out of my way for fries. I would have taken a basket home if I knew they would be as good as fresh later.

Worked with Kerry to book a private dining area for our wedding luncheon after our courthouse ceremony. Beautiful restaurant inside and out and the private space was exactly the vibes we were looking for.

If you’re on the hunt for the best cheese curds in the area, Courthouse Pub is the spot. Their fresh Henning’s curds are unreal—perfectly melty, wrapped in a crispy house-made beer batter, and paired with a raspberry balsamic dipping sauce that sounds like it shouldn’t work… but absolutely does. It’s sweet, tangy, salty, and ridiculously good. I’m fully obsessed.

Beyond the food, the vibe here is polished but still casual—just the right balance to make it perfect for anything from a laid-back lunch to a more professional dinner. They even have a private back room for small events and gatherings. I actually hosted the Paralegal Association banquet there for my Legal Studies program in 2024, and everything—from the service to the setup—was top-notch.

Highly recommend this place, whether you’re just popping in for apps or planning something a little more formal. Courthouse Pub always delivers.

Went here on a recent bicycle trip through the area. We were looking for a place with good food, gluten free without cross-contamination, and a place we could stop at in biking kits.

The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. We were offered inside or outside seating. We were seated in the dining room at a table, but we asked to move to see our bikes sitting outside and we were moved without any hesitation. We had a server change after being seated but they didn’t miss a beat.

Food was great (we all had burgers - strawberry rhubarb and blueberry) and two of the guys said their beer (porter) was really good.

Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and service in the area.

A group of five of us showed up to be sat. The place was almost empty. Staff asked if we had a reservation, we did not. We asked if we had to. They said no. They had a hard time placing a seat for us and then when they did they wanted to let us know that we need to be out in an hour because the seat that they we're sitting us at had reservations. Mind you the place was not busy. At that point we left because we felt unwelcome and the seating staff was extremely rude. Clearly a lack of experience on there part.

10 months ago I said "Just perfect!" Today I can say, "Still perfect!" Still unique in every aspect - food, drink and service (Karenna is terrific). The chicken chili -- better than I remembered. The Czech Yo' Self pilsner (brewed onsite) still refreshing and easy to drink. The Blueberry Salad was fresh, tasty and abundant. Strawberry Chicken with garlic herb feta risotto and asparagus - simply other-worldly delicious! Still Checks ALL the boxes - and I still highly recommend.

I went back today for the first time in a few months. At one time this was my favorite restaurant on Manitowoc. I was hoping my last experience was a fluke & all would be back to their normal yummy food. Sadly, it was not. We split a chicken salad wrap & of course cheese curds. The cheese curds were delicious. The chicken salad was flavorless. I had 3 bites, never had a pecan & decided to bring the rest home where I can "doctor " it up. The fries, usually very delicious, wee crispy on the outside but completely cold mush inside. I'm not sure if there is a new cook. We had Jenny for our server. She's always pleasant & ontop of everything. It makes me sad thar this is no longer my go to restaurant when I'm in the area.

Unfortunately, the food was not good. I ordered a butternut squash salad. Well, Acron squash. They have a dish being promoted & run out. I paid an additional $7 to get chicken on a $17 salad that didn't come with a protein. The chicken was like leather!! You could not chew much of it. I messaged Courthouse today. I got a lot of excuses. What Ididn'tget was , please come back.

One of the best places in town. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. The service was on the slow side, but they took responsibility for that and were very pleasant. My tenderloin was cooked nicely. The mushrooms could have been a bit more flavourful, but I enjoyed it. The dark plate was fitting but the size of the plate made the portion seem small. The cheese curds with raspberry sauce were amazing.

Wow complete change from four years ago when my wife and I went there for a date night dinner. Steak was perfectly cooked and the baby potatoes were fried that they had good crunch and still soft in the middle. My wife had salmon which was delicious definitely recommend! The risotto was expertly cooked and the flavor paired extremely well.

DELICIOUS!! My husband and I stepped in after a day of traveling and we're very impressed! My husband enjoyed the cheese curds appetizer. (I can't have dairy, but they smelled amazing) I ordered the Goat Mac made with goat cheese and it was just what I needed!

I’ve been here twice now, first had the salmon, phenomenal. Came back and had the cheese curds and fish and chips, equally phenomenal. My other half had a burger and that was also highly reviewed. The service is what makes this experience, our service was so kind and checked in often. For beverages we had a frozen rose, and spicy margarita. Definitely do the spicy Margarita!

Cool place for lunch. The couple beers they brewed on site were exceptional. Clean, tasty, and innovative. We sat at the bar and the bartender was above and beyond while being our server and still bartending. Just the right amount of friendly convo and professionalism and kindness. Nachos where insane. Came out last night, first time since the menu change. We got the cheese curds (yummy and always), along with beer cheese burger and the hot honey chicken sandwich. All was pretty damn good except for that chicken sandwich, was crazy bland LIKE WHERE DA HOT HONEY AT DON’T BE SHY WITH DA HOT HONEY DA HONEY IS A WHERE DA MONEY IS AT. No but on a serious note at a place with a more elevated palate I was definitely expecting more. Even just a simple cucumber slaw rather than plain cucumber could have pulled that whole flavor profile together. Til next time<3

Located in the heart of downtown Manitowoc this isn't just an average bar and grill. The menu features local agriculture and presents it in a modern upscale way.

Layla pur server was phenomenal and had recommendations including delicious mocktails.

The only negative to site is that some of the sauces, additions and glazes to the mains were a bit counterbalancing rather than a contrast.

Overall a phenomenal place and highly recommend. Be sure to try the Cheese Curds!

Very cool atmosphere. Take time to read about the history on the website. They have a decent variety of food offerings that are executed well. Our server, Sicara (sorry if it's misspelled) was charming and professional. YOU MUST TRY THE CHEESE CURDS! Not overdone and fried to just the right temp to be melt in your mouth but not dried out. We enjoyed the flank steak dinner with chimichurri (super fresh!) Cooked to perfection and the pork belly "BLT" was a savory upgrade to the usual sandwich. You will have no problem paying your "parking violation" tab at the end of such an enjoyable feast.

We had the pork belly and pho soup, and a medium rare burger with seasoned fries with aioli. Our dog had the beef and lentil dish AND doggie dessert. We shared flourless cake. Very nice place.
Not your normal menu has a lot of nice touches things that you don't find in other places. So if you're looking for something that's a little different this would be the place to go The atmosphere is wonderful try to cross the street from the Manitowoc courthouse. The drink menu is very fun and again not your typical drinks just like you're not your typical food.

It's it's a little on the pricey side but it seems like everything's a little pricey nowadays so I'll just give it five stars and get on with my day.

This restaurant has fantastic food and drinks. They not only allow dogs in the outside area, but they also have a menu to serve them, which is phenomenal and unheard of but very much appreciated for pet owners. Thank you so much the fish sticks definitely feeling feeling and the burger and the doggy food was, beyond good. The picture I included is in almost a meal. You definitely should go to this restaurant. My husband and I travel around the country and this was one of our top 10 restaurants to go. We will be back.

Firstly want to say i think the theme of the restaurant is really cool, the way the menu is setup and how you get your check at the end (won’t spoil it), and the vibe of the inside felt like it fit the name and theme very well especially since there we’re actual lawyers having lunch there!

We sat outside with our dog and the waitress (Layla?) was very kind and attentive with service and brought our dog water and a little doggy menu. Our sandwiches were very good and fries were battered (favorite type) and the cocktail my wife ordered was a LITTLE light but well balanced.

The only reason i vote 4 stars is because my first impression of this place was a quick-bite cafe but when i look at the menu i see that, and then some whopping fine dining entrees with fine dining prices. Don’t get me wrong, the dishes looked like they would have been good but the vibe doesn’t match the meals/jump in variety and price points. Just my opinion

I had wanted to try Courthouse since I moved to the are 4 years ago. I finally got the chance to this past Friday for my birthday. The girl who took our reservation was so nice. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Our server, Eric, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and fun, didn't make us feel rushed even though we went later in the evening. The food was more than we anticipated, so delicious. My Ribeye was perfect and I was able to get carrots instead of asparagus which was great. His burger was exactly how he likes. And the cheesecake is the best dessert. Thank you guys so much for making my birthday dinner wonderful!

Went here last Saturday eve for dinner. The bar and wait staff were great. Get the bone-in ribeye and that's when it fell apart. I ordered medium on steak and the thing started out med. rare and by the middle of the steak was raw...for such an up scale place you sure don't know how to cook a steak.

Had family meal here- are kid burgers, chicken salad wrap, shrimp polenta, Bun Jovi burger, and fish tacos. All delicious! Staff was also SUPER-KIND to people who walked into a NICE restaurant with two kids. Greatly appreciated. Thank you!!! Oh and the cheese curds and raspberry balsamic-yum! Even a three and six year old liked!

We arrived at the restaurant and checked in with the hostess, who brought us outside and said to be about five minutes late we waited 20 minutes one-way. Just walked past us just looked at us nothing 25 minutes. Finally after 30 minutes, the hostess walked by and I asked can somebody please take our order(we had 2 children with us who were being very patient) she said I’ll check. FINALLY Jonathan came by and apples hostess never assigned our table
Jonathon was awesome other than having to get our closed bill and card back. If Jonathon had not rescued the day would have been a one star minus!

I had been there 2-3 times and I love it, the service is great, food is always delicious, not that expensive but more that a regular restaurant.
The salmon is on point always, curds are yummy, I got a Rose which was perfect, there’s good wine, beer, and so. We got carrot cake 4/5 and cheesecake 5/5.

Dear Court House Pub,
Just wanted to give a review thanking you for the quality of work you put into the food and dining experience at your restaurant. A family member from Milwaukee came up on Friday and she tried the Twisted Ceaser Salad that she absolutely enjoyed! I had the Pasta la Vista and added grilled chicken to it. Extremely delicious!
For drinks we had the Frosé and one of the Mules. Mixed perfectly. Our wonderful server April definitely got a 10/10 in our restaurant service book! She was so welcoming to my out of town family and was just a pleasure to be served by her! She made dinner recommendations and was just all around a wonderful person! She even made sure to open our umbrella (as we were seated outside) when a few rain drops fell. Between the food, service and classy outdoor atmosphere I will continue to recommend Court House Pub to my friends and family that come to Manitowoc. Keep the fantastic work up Court House Pub!!

Flawless food and service. So very glad we stopped in. My husband had the Osa Buco and I had the swordfish special - both were outstanding. Our salads and desert were wonderful too. Service was helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
